I love the more gentle cuticle care! I have started doing the same thing. And glass cuticle pushers are also great, especially for people who create a lot of sticky cuticle.

I would LOVE to see how you removed gel polish! I feel like I struggle so much with not damaging my natural nail! It doesn't matter how much caution i use, or how much time i take!
@Patronus yeah, I can soak mine in 100% acetone for 30 minutes, and somehow, still have a hard time getting them off without hurting my natural nails in some way.
What's your removal process?
Personally I don't use acetone anymore. I find it really damages my nails. So I use nail files to file down the top coat and colour. And I never really fully remove my base gel. I like to leave a good layer on, like Beauty Vault showed in this video because it helps nail strength and nail shaping.
So if you'd like, you can consider filing down instead of using acetone.
Some tips:
180 grit is good enough to take down most gel polish.
The closer you get to your nail (the more polish you've filed away), lighten your pressure. Go carefully. Don't start filing at the cuticle area. Start from the center instead. File until you've reached the clear base coat or the coloured base.
If you want to remove everything, just be more gentle when approaching your actual nail.
I recommend using thin nail files, like emery boards. They create less heat when filing and are more flexible so it's more unlikely you can damage your natural nail surface.
I think she already has a few videos that show how she removes gel polish from her nails. You just have to go back in her videos

Your nails are beautiful. I am so envious of you. My nails are thin and weak. They peel and rip all the time. The worst is they tear right at the corners sometimes into the meat section so it will hurt and bleed if I am not careful. Do you have any tips on how I can keep them from tearing like that?

I was totally inspired by that one but did a twist on it. The flakes didn’t show up in photos well but it was really fun!
Hello! I have a request, I hope you find this comment lol. I am a long time subscriber and watcher, I have learned how to do my own nails so much better thanks to all your videos!! Thank you!! I was just watching through your gel x tutorials since I am going to try that new endeavor after I have been doing dip powder with gel method for a couple months. I have a content request -- would you be interested in doing a video or maybe even a series, troubleshooting common problems and how to avoid or correct them? Some things I struggle with myself are breakage (in various points but mostly at the tips, or cracking in the middle of the nail, it's so frustrating even with building an apex I still struggle), avoiding it being or looking too thick when using gel polish, different curing tips and times for various products, and simple things that shouldn't be an issue lol like cuticle care and basic shaping. I know that is a lot but I spend a lot of time watching nail videos and you are my favorite teacher who I learn from the best thank you!!!!

How well does the Madame Glam peel off base coat work for you? I've been using it but it hasn't peeled off that well for me.
i do find that it works better/removes easier when i’m applying it under tips vs under gel polish, i talk about this in my next video.
