How to Feed Sourdough Starter

Having sourdough starter was very intimidating to me at first. I had no idea how to make bread or how to feed sourdough. The whole process was very confusing.  so the first step for me was just to learn how to feed it and then I would learn how to make bread later. So you’re going to start with small amounts at first you can always go larger if you’re going to make more bread. So I started with.
100 g of sourdough starter
100 g of water
100 g of bread flour
Mixing that well, then cover with a cloth or paper towel and secure with a rubber band. Set aside and it should grow within eight hours doubled in size. My first attempt did not grow, but I think my problem was I did not mix the starter with the flour and water.
My favorite thing to make with my sourdough starter discard are flour tortillas. I will link here in the description the recipe for sourdough flour tortillas.
