Martinez Family yea, helps the last longer. The grass builds up and starts to rot the steel. The grass stays wet and holds the moister making it rust faster. Also a clean deck will work more efficiently.
Not the folks who sell me their mowers :) . Clean them out, and voila, they work again! Amazing how many people don't clean their equipment and wonder why it doesn't work correctly.

Use a fence, or something analogous. I've moved, so now I just use a piece of plywood leaned up against a sawhorse weighted with cinderblocks.
