after years of practicing transitions in front of my mirror, specially after I attach a long ass suppressor, I learned to stay away at least 6 feet. broke 5 mirrors already... slow learner I guess 😂. hey, at least I'm not getting hit in the balls with a steel charging handle when I transition to secondary! so that's good.
Theres better videos out there to learn this watch a navy seal not the idiot wearing safety glasses to demonstrate a sling on his optic free "sniper rifle"
Finally found a video that explains how to use the gun sling!!! All others concentrated on installation. This is a GREAT video on how to use the gun in a tactical situation.
If possible, please do a traditional 2 point sling, 3 point sling and 1 point sling. It would be really helpful to everyone out there using different guns in combat. Thanks for this video tho, very informative
Dude, you're the Man! Great video. The way you broke it down was perfect. You answered ALL of the questions that I had about mounting my new sling on my tactical shot gun. Now it's time too practice! Thank you much!
So, I'm a beginning airsoft, and yes, this was a really REALLY helpfull video for me! My replica is is a full metal L85A2, and (as a perhaps somewhat small guy) I percieve it to be quite a huge and heavy gun, so I figured that I would need to sling it. I did some messing around with the replica earlier, but it just didn't feel right, and I couldn't get the thing on my back either. Watching this vid really helped me out with doing it the proper way. Thanks! And, I hope you'll be doing more stuff like this!
a good video for fighting with just your standar equipment. from my experiense in the norwagien army i had the problem with a 2 point sling bacuse we often had a smal backpack on with the sling between the back and the backpack so we could easily trow the backpack of whitout having to take the sling of. but that made it so the best way to cary the weapon was to have it with a one point sling. but note that we had the opportunity to attach the sling to a second point on the weapon to make it a 2 point sling. with a one point sling it is easier to detacth the sling from the weapon in the midle of a firefight to more easily move around with the weapon.
This is how we carried the AK4 (Swedish version of the H&K G3) back in the early 90's. The only thing I think is missing in the video is when having it on the back, one should train to swing it around against the chest when sitting/kneeling down. Without making a habit out of it, there is a risk of pushing the barrel into the ground; getting debris into it. Well, just a little bit of nitpicking. Great video :-)
novritsch if you mount sling on the back of the rifle on the other side of your rifle, you can switch shoulders even if you are having the 2nd 2pt sling setup.
Then, you have stuff like the magpul ms3 and its clones, which can be veeery easily convered from 2 to 1 point, and which can be easily adjusted fro more or less slack. Great video!
The only tutorial I could find where the instructor actually breaks down the moves at a pace that can be followed. Every other expert doesn’t seem to consider the slow, geriatric learner who’s a newbie. This is outstanding! Thank you, young Sir. Look forward to more content.
Well, it's his rifle (that he is selling in his store), of course he's going to show how to do it on his own gun, so people who bought it can check it out.
Hey Novritsch ! Just wanted to say thank you for this video. It actually helped me a lot finding a good way to properly sling my heavy T96 :) Keep up the good work !
Multiple qd points or attachments for along clips can help. With standard rifle I carry single point on stock with one are through so I can transition easily and sling rifle to my left side while drawing sidearm with my right. If it's a longer weapon I still carry the same but with my sling(Magpul ms3 with qd on one end)I can unclip the other end from the qd and mount it further up the rifle for long term carry and when potential combat is near I can change back to a combat carry listed at the top. Super comfortable as I too dislike standard neck loaded single point carry.
I guess it's down to personnal preference and gear. I tried many systems, yet the only one that really allowed me to go all movie-style operator is the one point sling, attached near the pistol grip. The gun does wave a bit when i'me not holding it, but it's nothing serious, and if I need to fasten it really tight, I have a second snap hook on a bungee cord that I can clamp on the front loop in a second and turn the thing in a tight 2 points sling. It's also the only setup I found that doesn't get me all tangled after 10 minutes ^^ I also like the old school two points very much, but it does sometimes get tangled in branches, so that depends on how I plan on playing

NOVRITSCH2 - Second Channel how do you keep the gun safe on your back as you climb a tree thats what i want to try i just dont know if its safe for the rifle
Except that nobody mounts a single point to the middle or the end 🤷🏼♂️ At least argue the facts. I personally use a single/dual point. It mounts above the grip for single. For dual I detach from a point below the main attachment point and connect it to the aft end of the hand guard. This gives me the best of both worlds. 😊
very very helpful ! thanks a lot ! appreciate it ! That wasn't dry - if you want to to get better you have to learn from one of the best, practice is the only way to get better till you can it by sleep.
when I use 3rd posistion, I don't feed it back through my arm, I like to keep my sling either a little loose, or on the bottom of the stock so I don't have to feed my arm back through the sling, just makes the transition a little faster, but that's just me (I'm all ears for basic training tips and tricks, because I recently joined NJROTC)
I would be concerned about the long term effect on the tiny screws securing the pic rail to the receiver if you are carrying the weight of the rifle and moving around with the sling under the pic rail.
I was wondering if you could put out a short video on how to properly unload SSG24 mags because I don’t wanna shoot out all of my heavyweight bbs after the day is over and I’d like to see how you should unload the mags
The only problem i have with the 3rd position is the fact that I am a long haired dood. And I have an L96, since I'm not tall and a bit skinny it's a little difficult ;-;
I'm lefty, so..... all this wud be a down fall for me haha..... cuz if I sling it, the bolt action handle wud hit my back. Either way wud be difficult. I had to modify so I can sling it without any blockage.
Don’t recommend in the dark, I practiced the L shape at night like you said.. And I missed the sling and Accidentally stuck my thumb up my ass in the process 😂😂😂
Hi Novritsch. Now I've got a question for you. A General sling you have in your store. What I cant seem to find is the strap to fix it to the end of the gun. Could you point out a product for that? Would be awesome
If you liked this sort of video then take a look at our "Reconbrothers" Channel. We provide this kind of information into much more detail. 🤙 | Viper & Instinct out
First problem I’ve had with the SSG24 is the front screw for the magwell seems to of been threaded the screw is still in the whole but it won’t tighten
Nice and smooth transitioning, thanks for the tips. But would that work with a ghillie or even a ghillie top half cloak. When I try it with the cloak it ends up being quite uncomfortable.
dont sling a gun to yourself when you have a ghillie on... if you noticed, most real life snipers dont wear the ghillie when they are not stalking or tactically approaching or gathering intel. carry it while in ghillie, when out of ghillie, just sling it over your shoulder. Also, notice how he plays airsoft, the sling is pretty useless in all his videos. thats because you would typically use your sling when walking from your car to the base camp, DZ, QG, wtv you want to call it, and an advanced position on the field, at that point, you are aiming up (this is mostly for how he sets his sling up, since its a carry sling only, unlike a traditional 2 point where you wrap the front portion around your forearm for steadiness when firing)
What exactly is a mil sim? Isn’t that a genre of video game? Like escape from tarkov, insurgency sandstorm, etc; or is he referring to airsoft? Cause I don’t larp
Hey Nov, what about if I carry an assault rifle with the extended stock end a two point sling attached to the bottom of the stock and in the normal sling mount? by the way you are awesome and I like this kind of videos
Alessandro Rampa true but its in different locations from rifle to rifle. Prime example, the rear sling point on an M4 & M16 is on the stock while the AK47 is on the side of the receiver.
The thing about this video is a lot of people are gonna say “oh yeah that’s easy what’s the point of this” but really this is very helpful
I took your advice, and practiced in front of the mirror...now the mirror is gone [!?]
He was scared
after years of practicing transitions in front of my mirror, specially after I attach a long ass suppressor, I learned to stay away at least 6 feet. broke 5 mirrors already... slow learner I guess 😂. hey, at least I'm not getting hit in the balls with a steel charging handle when I transition to secondary! so that's good.

Thanks for making this. I learned a new technique, the shift to back, that I'm going to practice.

Estrada6031 you know this is airsoft, right?

Thank you for the great tips. They help me as a airsoft sniper and I enjoy watching the way you take your routes of these things. Amazing

Now I want to get a two point sling, even though my one point literally just came in today
depending on what you’re using, a single-point sling can be used in a way that resembles a two-point sling. m.ua-cam.com/video/9sv765RMxkM/v-deo.html

i was spying you before you tell the way u have your sling and make a video about it when i "revealed" the way!haha btw keep going!! :D
Same xD. I'm actually using it for a bit of time ;)
English?
gun sling setup 101 on a rare type of rail set up we barely see on any sniper 10/10
Well, it's his rifle (that he is selling in his store), of course he's going to show how to do it on his own gun, so people who bought it can check it out.
It's an m24 body right? I mean my cyma cm.702a has the same rail too
Which happens to be a real common sniper so not that rare 🤷♂️😅
Novritsch can you do a video about how to adjust your sling to fit you? That would be awesome!
We'll be doing that next week on Thursday on our Channel. 🤙 | Viper out

Excellent video. Thank you!
Practicing something like this is just fun
A few days ago I learned to put a sling on my cadet gp L89A7 rifle for my weapons handling test it was so easy
Diese Technik vom ÖBH hab ich mir auch gut eingeprägt. Hat sich bis jetzt wirklich bewährt :D
Nov Greets aus Salzburg ;)
Novritsch, you are sooo amazing man! You are my favorite UA-camr! I love you!
geez calm down
thanks i kept struggling to learn this
No one beats novritsch. Switching from his primary to side arm is nearly on par with equipping in video games.
I was totally wondering about how to sling to my back and present secondary
danke novritsch

Wait till you have to drop it quickly and transition to your hand gun SINGLE POINT SLINGS are BALL PUNISHERS/NUT BUSTERS.
Ist zwar 6 Jahre alt, aber sehr nützlich, top!

Generally quite helpful, cheers Novi.
@NOVRITSCH2 could you do a video on how to maintain/lubricate and oil your weapons?
Tyler Atwood he allready has a vídeo oficial 1 hour longitud about everything
I remember that one, but maybe just a condensed video just about that topic if he wants to create a series or something like that
Great video. I cant wait to practice these transitions. Thank you.

Thanks for the tip Nov, love your videos man ...
I would be concerned about the long term effect on the tiny screws securing the pic rail to the receiver if you are carrying the weight of the rifle and moving around with the sling under the pic rail.
Gonna use this for le Nerf. Thanks man 👍
Keep u the great work Chris. I would like if you do some more Vlogs your life is to exciting to not be on camera.

T·H·A·N·K Y·O·U !
I fiddle around with my sling so much!
Very nice ! ✌😎
I don't know what NOVRITSCH is imagining the 3-point sling looks like. :D
Dude this was so helpful!! Thank you ❤
The only problem i have with the 3rd position is the fact that I am a long haired dood. And I have an L96, since I'm not tall and a bit skinny it's a little difficult ;-;
Ich feier deine Videos richtig! Mach immer weiter
ty appreciated i am trying to make realistic game how to grab the gun and use it transition so this is helpful TY
Having the front sling mounted on the rail still ok when scope is on
I'll attempt to make one for my vsr :) very helpful video !
Danke, das Video war sehr hilfreich.
Will you be going to Berget in the future? I hope so because I really enjoyed those videos
Please go to Berget in 2018! We need more of those videos!
Will series about "How to be good sniper" continue? It looks very good, so I'm waiting for next video of this serie.
I'm lefty, so..... all this wud be a down fall for me haha..... cuz if I sling it, the bolt action handle wud hit my back. Either way wud be difficult. I had to modify so I can sling it without any blockage.
I'd prefer putting my assault rifle on my back while switching weapons. But I needed help with this one.
I’m a little late, but thx so much
Very useful, thanks!
How this is the tutorial I've been looking for
Me who uses a 352.738 point sling:
I choose one point slings because I use a M4 and the M4 sling mounts for a one point sling is it mounts to the bolt catch
Do you know what you're talking about?
The one thing I wanted to know was how you set your sling on your gun... ☹️
You should do an assault version with a M4 or some form of battle rifle.
Don’t recommend in the dark, I practiced the L shape at night like you said..
And I missed the sling and Accidentally stuck my thumb up my ass in the process 😂😂😂
great explained!
Hi Novritsch. Now I've got a question for you. A General sling you have in your store. What I cant seem to find is the strap to fix it to the end of the gun. Could you point out a product for that? Would be awesome
did you find that strap? i can`t even search it on google because i don`t know the exact name of it :(
Great tips thanks
I really liked it
How do you attach the sling to the stock of the rifle like that? How do you keep it from sliding over the stock (to the front or the rear)?
Thanks! Now gotta practice with that AR15 in front of mirror.
very very nice! Thank you for this very helpfull video! :)

Outstanding. What military did you serve ?
Good info. Thanks.

Hey Nov, what about if I carry an assault rifle with the extended stock end a two point sling attached to the bottom of the stock and in the normal sling mount? by the way you are awesome and I like this kind of videos
what rifle
Will M a common assault rifle, I have a ca4km12 but I think you can have two sling mount on quite every rifle
Alessandro Rampa true but its in different locations from rifle to rifle. Prime example, the rear sling point on an M4 & M16 is on the stock while the AK47 is on the side of the receiver.
pyruleanfire right, I didn't think about ak, sorry, maybe you can use a sling mount like the one novritsch use on his ssg
I really like 2-points, but putting it over your head and then off again quickly while wearing a wide-ish helmet can cause problems
gotta figure out how to manipulate it better than.
Maybe you'll find some tricks in the video we've recently made about slings. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/IjZBjVeDv7M/v-deo.html | Viper out
shame the asg i have has the sling mounts on the wrong side
Nice set up! Hey cool accent btw!
TIL that novritsch is a veteran
Why did you put a mic on your neck when you’re making a video about slings
Its that or bad mic quality
This is funny wearing eye protection but why?
Maybe he wanted to be like crazy russian hacker?
just a good safety habit to have eye pro on even when you know the gun is unloaded
