    About the velcro pouches: you could remove the velcro and glue or sew some neodymium magnets on.

      Good idea... Also, there is velcro that if you yank it downwards, is very silent and if you yank it upwards it's loud. I have this on my photo bags.

      The problem with those clips is that it is extremly slow and tedious to close. Opening it is also pretty slow when you are in the middle of a battle.

    To get rid of Velcro noise I use magnets. Use a seam ripper to open up one loop side and sew a high power magnet inside. Do the same on the other side but replace the hook velcro strip with another loop piece. It's pretty easy to sew by hand on most pouches, As long as you take care to align the magnets as best you can, it works pretty well!

    Christoph, I enjoyed watching this video on your gear. You asked for input. if there was a way, if you chose to, to add one or two pouches to your left side suspender strap (non-firing side), then that could be a space for additional gear. For pouch retention, rather than velcro, what about 'fastex' brand buckles? Opening them is a quiet...I think. Elbow pads integrated into the top maybe. I sewed some into the top I created. I did the same to the knees. My ghille had no knee pad pockets so I sewed some knee pad pockets there and used some foam inserts. Then I used velcro to close those pockets. To ensure my trousers would stay up, I sewed on a pair of Vietnam-era US Army LBV suspenders after removing the hooks at the bottom of the suspenders onto the waist of my pants. I also sewed in several more belt loops as well.
    Your system looks just fine.

    You can fix the velcro spund quite easily. Just get some decent magnets. And sew them into your pouchs. And make sure you have like a velvet or just a kinda thick piece cover both sides of the magnet so when you close up your pouch it doesnt slam shut brealing your magnet or letting people know of your position. Opening and closing your pouches would be easier. Hope this made sense. And hope you read this and be like holy crap i should try this. Up to you. Just thought id eliminate that velcro. I dislike velcro.
    You dont have to use thick magnets. I was thinking more like those wallets that are held close by those thin yet decent magnets.

      Agreed the fabric solves it but a magnet hitting a magnet produces far less sound then a big ass piece of new velcro.

    8:45 You accidentally mixed your English grammar with german grammar by putting 'is' at the end of the sentence. making it not make sense at all in English XD.

    • @juankisuela
      @juankisuela 6 років тому +4

      Breathes in Boi? He said more or less I don't see any "is" lol

    • @thew8aminute
      @thew8aminute 6 років тому +3

      also he said " because it sealed onto your gear wall is" In german the word "because" is "weil" and if you use this in a sentence, you put the verb at the end of the sentence so instead of "because it is" they say "because it.......is"

    • @juankisuela
      @juankisuela 6 років тому

      Ohhh Okk i understand you know I'm from Spain sorry for the misunderstanding

    • @thew8aminute
      @thew8aminute 6 років тому +1

      no no in German they put there verbs at the end of their sentences many times for example if you have 2 verbs in one sentence, 1 will go 2nd, then the other will go to the end

    • @ilkanagel9229
      @ilkanagel9229 6 років тому +2

      Breathes in Boi? I'm Late, but he sayed: "it is sewed onto your gear more or less." if He sayed something with "Wall is" it wouldn't make sense in german either.

    Hiya Novritsch, love the videos! Keep them coming! I just have one gear related question. Just now trying out my hand at sniping. Picked up a Well MB4411D ( came with bipod and a crappy scope) . I do have the weaver rails on it, in abundance mind you. I was curious as to what ( if any) tools are worth adding onto the rifle, whether it be a laser pointer, some sort of range finder, flashlight, etc.
    Basically what addon's (other than beefing internals, and getting a better scope) do you recommend?
    Also for a bonus question, when moving to play indoors, how does your playstyle adjust?
    Thanks for the videos

  • @kyechilds7128
    @kyechilds7128 6 років тому

    One trick what I was taught by an Australian Defence Force member is that you burn the velcro so it stops sealing using the velcro. Stops the sound but I only recommend this if you have another way to lock the pouch shut.

You mentioned not liking how your sniper mag-pouch makes a velcro sound when opening, here's the best solution I've found, I think it might be useful for your setup: ua-cam.com/video/vSK3maq8Cyk/v-deo.html

    if you're looking for a good battle belt, HSGI makes a really good and very high quality rig, i also recommend the LBT 1647D, the only draw back is that this one doesn't have loops for a harness or strap system but with their riggers belt, theres no shifting or sagging which is amazing. definitely check these out.

    I would suggest adding on a radio. A Kenwood TK 378 is a good choice. The keypad can be locked out so one does not have to worry about inadvertently switching channels.The battery lasts a long time, it is an older radio with a metal frame so it can take a little bit of abuse and it has good sensitivity.

    Novritsch you can make it a magnetic system for you're sniper mag pouches if you don't like the velcro giving away your position, I did this to mine. It really helps, try it out it works.

    Hey NOVRITSCH,
    Thanks for sharing and doing what you do my friend!
    Question : Would you bother to add camouflage to your GoPro camera itself? Assuming of course you're going for that ultimate stealth mode. Pardon my ignorance in asking if you've already covered this in past tense and/or it has already been shown that you do/don't.
    All the best to you,

      why would you do that? its really not that bad. most of the airsoft guns got like, maybe 400 fps. as long as you don't get hit into parts of your face you are generally fine.

    @NOVRITSCH, try removing the Velcro from the utility pouch and grenade pouch and sewing in a couple strong magnets to keep the flaps closed.... I have a winter coat that has the front flap over the zipper using magnets to keep it closed, and it never opens up unless I want it to.

    Hey brother nice video, I was wondering if you can adapt some magnets to the mag pouch that way the enemy won't hear the velcro. Lol!
