The experience was very interesting. I could feel the pressure of being watched and I was making bad choices and not hitting shots that I should be hitting. A lot of yall will say "omg thats not a real diamond or plat hes boosted!!!!" but I guarantee you WILL play differently no matter what you think. Good game though
100% I've competed in tourney's and leagues and stuff and I can confirm, your performance will be a little different (sometimes better, sometimes worse) when there's an audience, whether it's 2 spectators or over 1k viewers.

The thing about Plat is that it is such a varied rank. You can have two different players, both Plat hardstuck, with COMPLETELY different levels of skill. It's a weird rank.
a lot of people from silver to plat just don't play the game that much, so you can get people with diamond or masters level mechanical skills that just haven't ranked up alongside people who just got lucky and placed plat even though they belong in bronze.

As someone who has a few hundred hours on both platforms I'd like to offer some insight. Tracer is a menace on controller and the aim assist actually allows you to play with a high sense without losing out on tracking, and she is much stronger there because many players have such low macros for turning. Pharah rolls until reaching xim ranks because she plays out of aim assist range. PC strafes are actually less effective against controller users so in most cases its just going to throw off the strafers aim.

As someone who went from console to pc, and then back to console, or for anyone else who has gone from pc to console Console is not the same overwatch on pc. Even on the highest sensitivity it is WAY slower paced overall

Yo the bap from the console team here ( commenting this to boost my ego) So basically I just wanna say huge team diff (except my second support) The only time where i actually sucked was when we were defense on the second map ( i just fed) And on the 3rd round my tank had less kills than me and i had more healing than the enemy team And im in masters now + im from EU so i was playing on 100+ ping
You played really well on Bap and Gorilla Nuts was great on the Ana as well! Definitely a big tank diff and a small DPS diff - your tracer was alright but the Junk should have swapped. Ggs though!
(Tracer here) really couldn't get any picks off on the backline since of how much pressure the team was putting. Sometimes I would be 1v2ing or 1v3ing, and no one would try to create space from me taking on two of their teammates, also I'm about to be masters too

Love these vids , I used to be a console player until just recently made the switch in December was pretty nasty with the roller so I'm trying to get used to mnk was pretty hard at first but I'm getting use to it now
I think its a dps diff. They never switched off tracer junk and when they did its typical 30 sec left. Never adjusted at all so i blame this game on the dps for their loss
I played on console for years before I moved over to PC and can confirm that its way harder to aim on console even with aim assist, not on that but I feel like PC players seem to forget that you can 360 spin instantly just because you can ramp up the sense and it's still pretty easy to control where as console you're forced to have a low sense just for the micro movements of aiming, PC players just can't handle the fact they suck even with the advantage of free full mouse movement

I think he was just playing hog because hog is op and they needed to stop rein, hog is also good against rein. I think if he stuck on rein they would’ve done better. Also one of the console players was complaining about really bad lag a few times

As a PC player I expected the PC players to roll this one but it was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Respect to the console players showing the rank gap isn't as high as most of us think.
tbh the console players mechanics are surprisingly good. i dont think generally theres that much aim gap anymore between experienced console players and pc players.
If PC and Console players swap platforms , the regular console players on PC will be much better than the regular PC players on console . Aiming with the thumbs is much harder and less accurate than aiming with the wrist .
I used to be a console player before PC and I know a lot of console players never used their mics to communicate let alone build some community. I think a major reason for why they sound so different is because PC is much more talkative that they know how to laugh while still playing hard

You guys dont understand the difference between playing a game with no one watching and playing a competition against players who you don't know their skill and also being watched by thousands.
Alot of people seem to think this was a tank diff, but I think that's a pretty big misdiagnosis. The PC Reinhardt was a constant, even across the match that they got rolled on. A lot of people are pointing at the Console Roadhog but the Roadhog was a reactive pick when their other strats stopped being effective. It looked like nothing was landing but one of the reasons for that was a lot of his accurate ones were either blocked or mitigated by the Reinhardt. The other thing that was probably sinking his accuracy is that the nature of players with mouse and keyboard have different movement patterns, I don't know that the patterns are better but them being different was probably enough to throw off what he was used to. No I think this was a DPS diff. The advantage you get from a PC is the added precision of mouse and keyboard, which means the heroes that are going to take advantage of that the best are the ones with hit-scan weapons. So when the PC players decided to run things like Junkrat, Torb, and even Pharah they weren't really benefiting from that advantage as much. You might notice that whenever the PC players were winning and winning hard it was during the times that they were specifically running two mid range hit-scan DPS, specifically anytime they ran Soldier 76 and Sojourn at the same time. Most notably the Sojourn I would say put in a lot more work than people realized. They got some very sudden and accurate picks that enabled the Reinhardt to apply more pressure than he would have otherwise.

As a PC player I expected the PC players to roll this one but it was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Respect to the console players showing the rank gap isn't as high as most of us think.

Try using two sticks to move around instead of your whole arm. It will look slower. Has nothing to do with brains.

If PC and Console players swap platforms , the regular console players on PC will be much better than the regular PC players on console . Aiming with the thumbs is much harder and less accurate than aiming with the wrist .

I used to be a console player before PC and I know a lot of console players never used their mics to communicate let alone build some community. I think a major reason for why they sound so different is because PC is much more talkative that they know how to laugh while still playing hard

@@theodorerhigginbottom5837 probably technically but aim wise. No. Take off aim assist console loses that battle. OW isn’t entirely dependent on aim, though. Good aim won’t win games. Console gamers just have it a bit easier.

Console tank kinda threw
Alot of people seem to think this was a tank diff, but I think that's a pretty big misdiagnosis. The PC Reinhardt was a constant, even across the match that they got rolled on. A lot of people are pointing at the Console Roadhog but the Roadhog was a reactive pick when their other strats stopped being effective. It looked like nothing was landing but one of the reasons for that was a lot of his accurate ones were either blocked or mitigated by the Reinhardt. The other thing that was probably sinking his accuracy is that the nature of players with mouse and keyboard have different movement patterns, I don't know that the patterns are better but them being different was probably enough to throw off what he was used to. No I think this was a DPS diff. The advantage you get from a PC is the added precision of mouse and keyboard, which means the heroes that are going to take advantage of that the best are the ones with hit-scan weapons. So when the PC players decided to run things like Junkrat, Torb, and even Pharah they weren't really benefiting from that advantage as much. You might notice that whenever the PC players were winning and winning hard it was during the times that they were specifically running two mid range hit-scan DPS, specifically anytime they ran Soldier 76 and Sojourn at the same time. Most notably the Sojourn I would say put in a lot more work than people realized. They got some very sudden and accurate picks that enabled the Reinhardt to apply more pressure than he would have otherwise.
