@@Ravitas3 As a GM1 dps who sometimes plays QP into "diamond/masters challengers" as well as "gm pugs", I can tell you that the overall skill level of those "gm pugs" is probably lower than the QP games with the diamond/masters challengers. i really wish i can attend these but because of my region its not possbile without 200+ ping in these lobbys and i doubt he could find someone in my region that would actually play
I just started playing ranked after beein put into silver back in seasaon 8. I made my way up to dia 2 in DPS, plat 2 in support and plat 3 in tank in like 4 Days and 50 Games. Doomfists using slam to go after the pharah (8:00) and punching back is somethig u would see in plat already, especially on doom u need to ba able to do such things to even reach these ranks. His aiming isn't rly that mega too, like tracking falling targets is seems like a problem sometimes already. I feel like plat is were he should be, remember thats already above averrage (Top 40%).
I find the comments very fun to read, but this is one of the things that does get under my skin a bit. Everyone is talking about how bad my aim is but we only had ~10 minutes to warm up and I usually warm up for things for at least an hour. I know my aim looks bad here but I am top 1k overall and top 7 when it comes to tracking in aimlabs and I have a lot of time in both Aimlabs and Kovaaks, obviously, I know that my aim wasn't good here and thats the only thing people have to judge off of, but yeah. idk. Hope you enjoyed the video. ❤
@@Quidifyy Well I did not want to attack u or something, I said it "seems to be a problem", ofc its just a few games (which is why I wrote seems) but that was the frst thing I noticed on ur tracer. Especially Tracer requires a lot of aim and gamesens to get any value at all. I am still convinced, that plat is the right spot for u to be in atm. Train ur aim and know when its time to make a play and u can reach diamond with ez. Also u may be rly good in aimlab and warm up for an hour and I also belive u that ur aim is way better noemaly, but the moest important thing to climb and stay in a higher rank is consistency. In aimlab u need to have a few rly good tries in a mode to reach masters but to climb in a game u need to be constantly better than the average player in ur current rank.
@@OfficialZayn. I did end up climbing to diamond 1, and I didn't feel attacked by your comment, more so just wanted to use your comment to reply to everyone who said something about my aim, because my aim is my strong suit and the reason I am climbing so fast, but its hard to tell that from a video of 2 games where I am playing bad and didn't have time to warm up.
As a plat tank that deserves Plat, ill tell you why he plays passive. Plat teaches you to never ever trust your supports as a dps. They'll help the tank, but dps if you aren't a duo you're just on your own. They'll flat out tell you to use health packs 90% of the time. Being a dps in Plat teaches you to just play solo. This became clear to me in pugs. When a diamond/master plays pugs with plats , they usually just feed or trade at the start. Because they dive thinking they'll get a zen orb or a shot from the Ana to top them off, and it never happens. Now the mercy will pocket you, but it's not like in high ranks where the mercy pulls you out of the catastrophe, the second things get even slightly hairy I see the dps die and a mercy flying to wherever I am.

Maybe if not likely, it's that nobody knows what they should or should not be doing. Not knowing what to do can bring about hesitancy and can cause a lot of second guessing.
im bronze 5 and end up in plat matches, i get flamed
I remember playing with you in Overwatch 1. My player name is Cachai. I haven't played, as much, after the launch of Overwatch 2, but I do still play. I think I will start to grind more hours of play in Overwatch 2 to get my rank back. Keep in touch.
4:30 He should be going in like that Mercy all the time lol Dude is constantly missing easy stickies. If he can practice landing them, he can easily bump up a few brackets as stickies are where he gets the most damage and value.
If I am engaging on a target I usually hit most of my stickies, other than that I just throw them in a line where the enemies are so I can hit the most as possible and they cant move out for it just so I can farm ult charge
@@Quidifyy The engage stickies were fine, it was more the poking stickies that you should try landing more constantly, especially for slow and easy targets like at 4:29 on Zen who could have easily have died if you turned slightly more to the right when firing there.
@@FavoriteSniper To actually peek wide enough to get all the stickies on the zenyatta there I would have had to have open myself up to such a wide angle. Even with me not going for that wide of an angle the cass was 1 shot away from killing me.
id say hes diamond, but he was 100% being targeted a lot and he was a lil pressured from being watched so he might be like low masters. Luh bro definitely pretty good tho
Thank you so much
My mate is actually in elo hell fr. We used to be in consistent d1 together and then he got chucked into gold and can’t escape because the teammates are all silver to plat
you should do 5 players think they in elo hell and pitch them against other 5 other people in that rank
You need to Understand. THIS is a Team Game.
it's not about the Solo player.
There is only so much one player can do VS 5. if the team fails. the Solo player will fail with them.
getting trapped in LOW ranks is a Team Fail and who you get stuck with.
we love Jay3 uploads!!
Cass or ashe is a super hard punish for zen/doom combo especially with a pocket
Love you jay3. Very buff
9:13 no one gonna talk about that guy who said sit on me j3 in chat
Don’t think he could keep up with the tempo of the game and played passively not looking to make plays
I am actually used to higher tempo than this, and I was playing "passive" because I know the GMs can punish me
this one is much better than my plat 5 dps friend who would die if i don't look at him for 3 sec
I was plat 1 at the time of filming this and received hundreds of dollars in coaching, so that would make sense lol
You should show the leaderboards as well so we can see how they stack up stat wise with the higher ranks just a suggestion but otherwise I like this series a lot
Its crazy cause i once got to diamond 1 playing genji, just 2 games from masters and then got hardstuck in plat 2 💀
Love the ego. You need that attitude to be competitive.
Thank you
I respectfully disagree
i’m hardstuck plat too, because every ranked game i play i get masters and gm’s on the enemy team, yet we still win like 50-60% of the time.
Same I am platinum 2
1.25 months
Gold and platinum
Enemy were diamonds
but our team was masters as well
And still still didn't manage to get there.
I won 55-65% of the diamond games
Not even close in platinum games
I’m a masters bap main but when I look at my game play I feel like a gold support 💀idk y my games look so clunky
props to watching your own gameplay. those ppl who watch GM streamers and say "no way this is gm, i see this in plat" usually don't realize how "clunky" their own gameplay is.
IF i have a good game, ill watch my replay and realize that even though i did well in the game, i made so many mistakes that a T500 player would never do
Been waiting for the elo hell series to continue! Great content!
I dunno why his mercy was perma healing, bit of an odd one :/
I agree, it was my mercy's fault.
@@Quidifyy lmaooooo true true
@@Quidifyy what
@@twintwail I don't actually think it was mercy's fault. twas joke
Yeah idk how that mercy got to masters by healbotting.. not to blame the mercy but echo would’ve done much better if they had damage boost..
Ngl this guy is better than the average plat player, he needs to improve to be masters, but that will come with time
Hello, I was the plat player in this video. Thank you so much ❤tbh according to coaches and high ranked players I am only plat because I don't play the game enough. (Usually only play ~30 games.) After the recording of this video I went up to Diamond 1 on Tank and Diamond 2 on support though.
Twitch chat really gives off redditor vibes
watching this over a year later the rank reset is the greatest thing ever cause no one here looks masters to me.
Hey, I was the plat player in this video, just wanted to clear up some misconceptions, I saw a lot of comments saying I was bad, just to clear it up; I am better than all of you. 1v1 me.
1v1 in a team based game? Lol
@@owsyonide Did I stutter?
You’re good bro, you just gotta increase your composure (which will happen the more you play with increasingly skilled players).
I felt thst when he was soujourn he didn't use his rail gun enough. Like he was waiting for the perfect shot, even tho they had a rein so it was really ez to build it up
jay we are loving the new bald cap
i really wish i can attend these but because of my region its not possbile without 200+ ping in these lobbys and i doubt he could find someone in my region that would actually play
8:08 how low is the bar? Lol press your shift that launches you in the air and hit two shots on a 69 HP phara 😂
Jay3 :Put a Plat in a Masters Lobby
OW2 Matchmaking : Just normal Stuff
Yuuuuh, you ask and you shall receive says jay3
him being plat is generous
well I am masters now so L

Im GM and I believe that I deserve bronze, but always my teammates hold me back.
14:05 you cant hit the ad button every 30 seconds on youtube, like you do on twitch
I love the dude that said “we are soggy bread 4”
10/10 video as usual jay3
9/10
Suffering from success. That was creative
Mercy pocket just casually kills 4 of them while he sits back
I have five gaming personalities and each one deserves a different rank 💀.
bro second game was such a tank diff
You know that downward spiral were he kept switching characters after 1 death. He's tilted.
If I ever face that doom I am leaving immediately💀
Those jay3 pulsebombs went nutty
Mate is saving his railgun for overwatch 3
i just started playing OVERWATCH 2 this is very enjoyable and just subed
What hour do you stream?
Turned into my fav ow UA-camr in the span of three videos
I’m wheezing at the heal bot mercy though 😂
It's crazy to see this video after I went from gold 5 to masters 5 within 2 days 44 matches 30 wins
At 8:33 and 8:37 the tracer flew across the map with one blink
BRO I SAW KILLULA YESTERDAY ON ZERO CD 💀
Chat saying “jay pulse” when they can probably barely hit a shatter 💀
