I’ve been diagnosed with “unexplained inflammation” after having covid twice. The first time I woke up half my face was swollen. Just half. Then two days later I couldn’t walk because there was so much inflammation it was pressing on my sciatic nerve. Still haven’t received a real answer. I’ve been on unemployment, couldn’t qualify for disability because their saying something is wrong but nothings wrong at the same time. It’s scary and then with stress on top of it, it’s…a lot.
For anyone wondering if she’s actually a genuine person… I met her in Sacramento in 2011 when she was looking for models when makeup geek first launched. I went to the hotel in natomas and tried out lol when I went in she wasn’t in the conference room at the time and I talked to her photographer. When I was walking out, she saw me and literally ran to catch me in the parking lot to give me a hug and say thank you for coming. I’ll never forget that. I’ve tried to support everything since then. I still have all the clothes I bought from your brand, they all still look great because they were great quality. I still have all my makeup because again, great quality. I’ll never throw it out I don’t care how old it is lol

Last year my head started to spin out of the blue, and it went on for about 4 months. During that time it was like I'm drunk 24/7, I couldn't drive at all because even being in the car make the dizziness worse, and throughout that 4 months, I have been constantly in lab tests and looking for new doctors, the final hospital I went to see was USC Keck, and after all the money I spent they were only to let me know that I'm not diagnosed with MS (which they were so confident on), and they could not give me an answer to what was going on with the nerves in my head...so I was left undiagnosed, and still to this day I don't have any idea what caused the dizziness for an entire 4 months, only preying it doesn't come back anymore...

Please please please have your thyroid antibodies and full counts done (not just TSH). I had same issue after EBV (Epstein Barre Virus) infection in 2003. Now, nearly 20years later I have the mystery inflammation secondary issues that I’ve been fighting to get truly diagnosed for all these years. The issues I’ve had literally destroyed my thyroid, liver and make inflammatory autoimmune issues flare in shifts finally earning the diagnosis of Myalgic Encephlomyeltis (ME). The same issues I had earlier on are exactly what post COVID patients are experiencing now. I had really hoped people wouldn’t go through what I have but it looks like a lot of people are sadly. I can only hope they’ve learned from people like me but unfortunately I’m not encouraged. The Covid virus and EBV are basically cousins. Ugh.

I have Sjogren’s, both arthritis’s and last Christmas, I got Omicron for Christmas. For me, other than the ridiculous fatigue, for a week, I had an intermittent droop on my left eye. Then it disappeared and I occasionally feel a twitch when I’m tired.
You have such a light around you and despite the difficulties (putting it mildly), you always were the voice of reason in the beauty community! 11/2019 when you were switching pan shapes, I bought everything I didn’t have and backups to my favorites. There were so many tests. And they thought I had ms as well. To say it was one of the scariest times in
My life is an understatement. I was away from home in college, and they even recommended I didn’t fly. My drivers lisence got taken away since I lost my vision in one eye. Thankfully with all the treatment it came back. But it was a really rough time. I had to take time off of school and wasn’t easy to survive.

He’s cut out so many staples (ie/ tomatoes, potatoes, beans, rice, much more) and his face, his body, is no longer puffy. He’s lost weight and is a true believer that inflammatory foods are the culprit of most diseases.
Please look into it. Just wanted to mention it. Im not medically trained, but I have seen how this anti-inflammatory diet has done wonders for him including his sleep and mental clarity.
