the map is big enough for everyone and this person wasnt even chasing around anyone or being rude, just having fun with the noises. Not every skykid is a skilled musician, sometimes noises without melody are fun too... I think just by going few meters away and stop pushing a confrontational situation should be enough to end the issue.

Even tho they were playing randomly, they were just having fun just the rest of us. I am saying this with assumption that they did not have any malicious intend. At the end you could just go away, the prairie lobby is known to be crowded and nobody should prohobit somebody else to play music or have fun. I understand your intentions but there is usually no use in telling the person to stop since they have every right to be here and do what they want as long as it follows the guidelines. Switching servers or locations usually solves it instead of wasting anger.
Yeah i think toxic players those who didnt help the others and just waiting you to burn the plants and the candles. Or in the vault when they act like they afk just to wait you to burn the lamps in the manta ( maybe in the 3rd floor). I honestly hate those players.
I was simply playing trumpet once and didn’t bother anyone when someone came up and kept telling me to stop. They would harass me and start playing over me for more than 20 minutes. Just because someone isn’t the best musician, or uses a loud instrument doesn’t mean they have bad intent. If someone was truly bothered by the problem they would go to a new area.
Meanwhile the Trumpet sky kid’s POV : why are they telling me to stop playing music?🥺 My little sister plays sky too and she recently got the piano. Now all she does is press random keys of piano. She says she likes the sound of it and tries to imitate the songs I play in sky.

One person playing: Pure melody 😌 Two people playing at the same time: *Menace to the society!!* 😂 But my guy didn't even cared about anyone and kept playing nonstop 😆, he was like *"now it's me vs the society"* 😂
That one couple and chibi think they own that place or something 🤷🏻♀️ He is just enjoying his instrument He didn't even chase and annoy them .I met with players who wanna ruin other's music but he is not one of them for sure .He doesn't play well doesn't mean he can't enjoy by himself. They're just being dramatic
What I'm thinking is likely a server merge happened when these two groups were playing music. The situation just wasn't handled all that well to me. At least _one_ of the groups could've just left the lobby and waited for a server switch. +.* OR *.+ Go to the shared space in the far left of the map, and sit at the shared space. The place will become empty, and randoms CANNOT join you. I feel bad for both sides here. The way this was acknowledged made the entire situation worse for everyone.
I also don't know how to play music on Sky and sometimes I have a lot of fun making random sounds, I think it's more toxic to tell me to stop because there's someone playing some music that everyone thinks is beautiful. The person wasn't on top of or to the side of the pianists to say they was doing it on purpose.
There are 7 different areas in the Daylight Prairie, not to mention the other realms, yet they choose to stay where the player was playing their trumpet. They set themselves up with that one
dont hold it against them. For one, the pianist could change location, like above the Memory shrine, the music from other players becomes low. They werent being arrogant, if they were they would've come near the pianist and ruined their play on purpose. Instead, it was the pianist to tell them to stop ... Like bro, let them enjoy his trumpet. xD
But the trumpet skykid started playing after them. So he has to change his location, not them. They were playing piano way before. I'm not saying he can't enjoy trumpet, he can but not this way.

I played this game for too long. And I experienced all chaotic and chill moments. I have videos about them too. If you want to be "chaotic" when people calmly playing piano then sorry but this action makes you a toxic player.
There are young kids in this game that do such things. They are just having fun with whatever they're doing. Just move on to next area, this game is vast. 🙄
Today there was a player in Daylight Prairie Secret area where you need 8 people to open the “door“. When finally everyone was present, that one player just wouldn’t move for 5 minutes, and then ran around anywhere but their place. Others were trying to light them, honked, made the „?“ expression. They just made laughing expression Idk if it „helped“ anything but they finally left when I auto-ran behind them trying to light them 😾🕯️
Few people know, but it is not necessary to have 8 people (just be quick) it is about light your place and at the same time light the place where there is no one, the other person who is on the other side also does the same ( light his place and in turn light the place where there is nobody) in this way you try to keep the 3 places with light, and in the end the elevator will go up, but of course you have to be quick and the other person too (sorry for my bad english)

i was at the prairie lobby lit up i was performing some music to make it better with aurora's voice when suddenly a pianist comes in and plays her music first i didn't mind the melody was kinda nice but after she played so quickly that it disturbed me, annoyed me 😭🤣 I couldn't hear myself anymore
they are far enough away you need to get over it. if they were following sure but they in one spot doing their own thing you can deal with other players existing, being annoying to you doesn't make them toxic

@@SkyAnbu They were being really annoying, but I think if you went up on the hill, it would have been quiet enough for the pianist to keep playing. It's not fair, but if they're doing it just to be annoying, telling them to stop is only going to encourage them to keep doing it. You'll discourage that sort of behavior more by just moving to another area.

You can just go further away so you don't hear them. It's only toxic when they follow musicians around and constantly play through them. As a musician myself it's an unspoken rule that you give others space so your performances don't overlap. (Unless you're playing sheet music together off course.) But yeah, save yourself the frustration and just make some distance.
Idk I feel like if you want to play music alone go somewhere more secluded. I think they were all just having fun more than anything cos ur not getting peace at a social space. But the trumpet guy was kinda annoying I'll admit.
I wouldn't say they're toxic since they didn't invade ur space and started harrassing u. They were staying in their spot. I've recently had a similar encounter but this person definitely had a more malicious intent. I was just minding my own business playing music for others and two sky kids approached us and started spamming the angry emote and then spammed random key notes while I was trying to play mine. I tried playing again but they wouldn't leave so I just went to another spot that was close by lol

I was trying to test out some instruments Harmony Hall and I encountered one of these. Indiscriminately button mashing on every single instrument in the place for unnecessarily long periods of time. It went on for about 20 minutes before I gave up on being able to hear a single thing. I just wanted to hear the song I learned on a few different instruments. lol. I get that people are there to play with the instruments, but have some consideration for other people. People being purposely obnoxious is the exact reason I don't play many multiplayer games. It ruins them.
But this kid wasn't in a space that other people need to be in to play different kinds of music, they bought the trumpet and they should have a right to play wherever they want, even if they aren't good

I am a Sky Musician. I was playing for quite a crowd when someone came up to us and started spamming notes circling around us. Everyone was telling them to stop, honking and doing emotes.. It wasn't pleasant.....

i dealed with a sky kid like this a time ago, using the same instrument as the one in the video, me and my friends where in the lobby talking and he chased us with the sound of the trumpet, and also didnt lighted our candles bc he knew he was going to be reported, this thing lasted like 10 min, we tried to go to another place using the portals and he obviously tried to follow us, gladly we reported him after, because he lighted our candles acidentally when trying to get wax.
i know everyone have the choices to go everywhere and the places are open, but could u like feeling forced to move everytime a person do that? i guess its just rude and there is no need to force someone move just because u want to do your annoying music spam, then just go to another place and stop being a little b.

oh i have same experience too. i was playing piano and even recorded it. i played at hidden forest, above grandma tree hoping for a quiet and good atmosphere and out of sudden there was this one sky kid flew near me and decided to ruin my music :< i was sooo annoyed bcs i really want to record my play and this skykid just ruined it i had to start over from the beginning

And with that kind of behavior ... that's why I always look for the most "alone" places in Sky to play my instrument. Sorry Its hard to explain because of my bad english. I was talking with my same language friend, and some bunch of stranger coming out then making their own table. I see they were talking with their own language so I respect them and i continue talk with my friend with our own language. And suddenly some bunch of strange ask to me with rude way "what is language is that 🙃". They don't like it because they don't understand our language, even though they do the same by Chatting with their own friend by using a language that we don't know. And they begin to make nonsense excuse such as "because you ignore us". Man i was talking with my same language friend, and those people doing the same. How can i not ignore them? Sorry for bad english, its just hard to explain the situation
Despite everything, there will always be toxic people. We can’t stop that and it’s horrible but a fact of life. The best we can do is decrease and learn to not do toxic behaviour. The community is still beautiful despite the small minority of people who wish to tarnish it. As of now, I have not met a single toxic person. I will eventually but it’s nice to think of that (been playing for 2-3 months as of the time I am writing this, joined: early, maybe 5th, Nov 2022)
Its a bit of a random question but will you lose your friends if you uninstall Sky and install it again? There is a problem with the new update and i seems that the last option is to uninstall and install Sky again I really don't want to lose my friends and i hope that someone can answer my question (If there is something wrong with my text i am sorry, english isn't my first language)

There’s a difference between trying to learn to play the instruments and being unbelievably obnoxious, and I’ve seen children who use those recorder flutes. It’s annoying to everyone who just wants to create music, and it’s quite obvious this individual wanted to cause trouble, since they just happened to use the most obnoxious sounding instrument available. They look like they’d at least have something else that wouldn’t annoy people, but it’s looking like it’s all malicious intent to start drama. We need a blocking feature; if a person is marked by a set amount of people within a timeframe, that individual will be removed from the server and sent to a different one that’s empty. Not a harsh punishment, mind you, but if people can’t respect other people, they don’t need to be around them.
I've met my fair share of toxic players in sky too. In my opinion harrasing someone till they light your candle is petty, what the player with the trumpet and the piano were doing was petty too. Just because servers merge players doesn't give them the right or reason to go that far out thier way to be so selfish. These aren't toxic players they are just petty and selfish. What I hate is when I'm burning a dark plant or light a candle and some rando ass comes up just to light me I'm a shadow to you for a reason, it's called privacy like it or not. Even more than that I realy despise those show off posers that get in your way blocking your path and movements.

No we aren't, one of the people playing could have moved farther away and that would be the best solution, but if he was intentionally ruining their song he would have been much closer, it seemed to me he was just enjoying himself and if you don't want trumpet to "mess up" the paino playing the move somewhere else there are lots of other nice places you can play instruments alone. You shouldn't stop someone from having fun just because they are annoying you when you can easily get up and walk away. If he was actively chasing them as they tried to play somewhere else then that's a different story, but he didn't

If it were me: if the trumpet was already there I would have chosen another spot. That's just common sense. It's not fair, but if they're doing it just to be annoying, telling them to stop is only going to encourage them to keep doing it. You'll discourage that sort of behavior more by just moving to another area.

You can just go further away so you don't hear them. It's only toxic when they follow musicians around and constantly play through them.
As a musician myself it's an unspoken rule that you give others space so your performances don't overlap. (Unless you're playing sheet music together off course.) But yeah, save yourself the frustration and just make some distance.
Idk I feel like if you want to play music alone go somewhere more secluded. I think they were all just having fun more than anything cos ur not getting peace at a social space. But the trumpet guy was kinda annoying I'll admit.

I've recently had a similar encounter but this person definitely had a more malicious intent. I was just minding my own business playing music for others and two sky kids approached us and started spamming the angry emote and then spammed random key notes while I was trying to play mine. I tried playing again but they wouldn't leave so I just went to another spot that was close by lol

I was trying to test out some instruments Harmony Hall and I encountered one of these. Indiscriminately button mashing on every single instrument in the place for unnecessarily long periods of time. It went on for about 20 minutes before I gave up on being able to hear a single thing. I just wanted to hear the song I learned on a few different instruments. lol. I get that people are there to play with the instruments, but have some consideration for other people. People being purposely obnoxious is the exact reason I don't play many multiplayer games. It ruins them.
But this kid wasn't in a space that other people need to be in to play different kinds of music, they bought the trumpet and they should have a right to play wherever they want, even if they aren't good

I am a Sky Musician. I was playing for quite a crowd when someone came up to us and started spamming notes circling around us. Everyone was telling them to stop, honking and doing emotes.. It wasn't pleasant.....

i dealed with a sky kid like this a time ago, using the same instrument as the one in the video, me and my friends where in the lobby talking and he chased us with the sound of the trumpet, and also didnt lighted our candles bc he knew he was going to be reported, this thing lasted like 10 min, we tried to go to another place using the portals and he obviously tried to follow us, gladly we reported him after, because he lighted our candles acidentally when trying to get wax.
i know everyone have the choices to go everywhere and the places are open, but could u like feeling forced to move everytime a person do that? i guess its just rude and there is no need to force someone move just because u want to do your annoying music spam, then just go to another place and stop being a little b.

oh i have same experience too. i was playing piano and even recorded it. i played at hidden forest, above grandma tree hoping for a quiet and good atmosphere and out of sudden there was this one sky kid flew near me and decided to ruin my music :< i was sooo annoyed bcs i really want to record my play and this skykid just ruined it i had to start over from the beginning

Sorry Its hard to explain because of my bad english. I was talking with my same language friend, and some bunch of stranger coming out then making their own table. I see they were talking with their own language so I respect them and i continue talk with my friend with our own language. And suddenly some bunch of strange ask to me with rude way "what is language is that 🙃". They don't like it because they don't understand our language, even though they do the same by Chatting with their own friend by using a language that we don't know. And they begin to make nonsense excuse such as "because you ignore us". Man i was talking with my same language friend, and those people doing the same. How can i not ignore them? Sorry for bad english, its just hard to explain the situation
Despite everything, there will always be toxic people. We can’t stop that and it’s horrible but a fact of life. The best we can do is decrease and learn to not do toxic behaviour.
The community is still beautiful despite the small minority of people who wish to tarnish it. As of now, I have not met a single toxic person. I will eventually but it’s nice to think of that (been playing for 2-3 months as of the time I am writing this, joined: early, maybe 5th, Nov 2022)
The only toxic people are the ones that use "skull emojis" and other weird emojis that is not necessary.

Still thinking abt this one time I accidentally lit someone's torch at the 8 player contraption and they suddenly got really mad at me and refused to light it so we had to wait another 10 minutes for someone else to light it. I think they were petty that I had the journey pack 😭

There’s a difference between trying to learn to play the instruments and being unbelievably obnoxious, and I’ve seen children who use those recorder flutes. It’s annoying to everyone who just wants to create music, and it’s quite obvious this individual wanted to cause trouble, since they just happened to use the most obnoxious sounding instrument available. They look like they’d at least have something else that wouldn’t annoy people, but it’s looking like it’s all malicious intent to start drama.
We need a blocking feature; if a person is marked by a set amount of people within a timeframe, that individual will be removed from the server and sent to a different one that’s empty. Not a harsh punishment, mind you, but if people can’t respect other people, they don’t need to be around them.

I've met my fair share of toxic players in sky too. In my opinion harrasing someone till they light your candle is petty, what the player with the trumpet and the piano were doing was petty too. Just because servers merge players doesn't give them the right or reason to go that far out thier way to be so selfish. These aren't toxic players they are just petty and selfish. What I hate is when I'm burning a dark plant or light a candle and some rando ass comes up just to light me I'm a shadow to you for a reason, it's called privacy like it or not. Even more than that I realy despise those show off posers that get in your way blocking your path and movements.

No we aren't, one of the people playing could have moved farther away and that would be the best solution, but if he was intentionally ruining their song he would have been much closer, it seemed to me he was just enjoying himself and if you don't want trumpet to "mess up" the paino playing the move somewhere else there are lots of other nice places you can play instruments alone. You shouldn't stop someone from having fun just because they are annoying you when you can easily get up and walk away. If he was actively chasing them as they tried to play somewhere else then that's a different story, but he didn't
