I feel so sad for the moth. It's so upsetting that toxic players are starting to discover this peaceful game. I hope that the moth won't stop playing just because of what happened, and be able to meet awesome people to play with them. I'd love to guide them in the game - from teaching them the basics and even take them to collect candles so they can buy very cool cosmetics from TS, and from active seasons.
Ikr!!! I love to guide them and most of my sky friends are moths! It's so fun to have them join me out of nowhere and instantly get distracted by their surroundings, hahah. Just yesterday I had to help _4_ moths with the guitar walk spirit in wasteland. But I didn't mind! It was funny and although it took a couple tries, we got it!! I can't imagine people bullying poor moffs:( When I first started this game,,, about 2? years ago, it was really difficult to find anybody who knew what they were doing and were actually willing to help me. Eventually I just grouped with other moths and we figured out the game together, it was fun. Sadly none of my first friends have been active in so long:") But anyways, Moths definitely should be protected at all costs. I love this game and I really hope I can get others to enjoy it too rather then toxic players driving them away
We try out best to protect moths....we try to report Toxic players...but....more..... Bad incidents happen.....why???? WHY?!?!?! ITS JUST A PEACEFUL GAME!!!! WHY DO TOXIC PEOPLE HAVE TO RUIN IT??!!?!?!?! WE....ALL OF THE WORLD HATE TOXIC PLAYERS GET THE HELL AWAY....BE GONE FROM THIS WORLD!
I also got a bad experience when I was a moth. I was doing a carry light..trying to relieve a spirit at the valley when a group of rude peps took the light away from me and far from the spirit I was trying to collect. They started laughing at me...I returned home and did it all over again 🙃. Never been adopted by a Vet...I've become a solo player since then. I'm playing Sky for almost 5 months now and very happy to help new players.
@@nemo1772 Your so kind...thanks! I've already meet some nice players. Recently I've adopted a new player but they have to leave the game cuz of school.
@Rianza I have made some friends in the meantime. But if you‘d like to befriend me, I‘d like that UwU I agree, sky is amazing but even better with friends!
Same here. My time as a moth was met with nothing but kindness and helpful veterans. I dread the day that this game will become so popular that too many bullies/toxic folks find it and invade it and basically ruin everything good about it.
i remember one time there was this moth that was wanting us to follow them so me and my friend follow her in the caves in priarie and all she wanted was to play hide and seek
As a veteran player, I find the actions and behavior of fellow veterans appalling. Moths are the future of Sky. All these cranky, gate keeping vets will one day leave, and if they have driven away players with their nasty attitudes, who's going to be left to help Sky carry on? Some people honestly need a head check.
Tbh I don’t think there are actual veterans cause this is not gatekeeping. This is more the behavior of newish players that have somehow got the wrong idea of the game (all about cosmetics and whatnot). I’ve been playing since 2020 and never encountered such a thing until recently really. It is sad 😭
@@pippinnai9443 oh believe me I have seen it. Not wanting the new "owl hair" because it will break the old one further, complaining it's to similar and then going around "Well it's a wal-mart looking knock off of the original" I also started in 2020 season of Enchantment, and my first vet experience was a group of owl hair feeding me to the first krill in GW. It is very much a thing.
What do you do as a veteran? I used to play Sky but as I'm bad at playing with other people, I quickly ran out of things to do and uninstalled it. I don't do glitches btw (except when my friend took me) because it just somehow never work.
Actually everyone was a moth when they just started to play the game. Every veteran came from a moth, no exception. That moth is bullied just cuz he started to play the game months later than those veterans, and that’s unreasonable. Hope those toxic players will never appear. Edit: I heard that some players are even worse, they cheat moths to do wrong things in game , eg. “If u get hit by krills for 100 times, u can get the wasteland elder hair” (WTH logic is this) Again, hope those toxic players will never appear.
I remember the hacker incident too. I always thought it's weird to want cosmetics using such means, because there's no effort in it so it doesn't gives off a satisfaction feeling of having it. The cosmetics are pretty much useless too aside for looks and effects.
@@kylefritz1063 I guess ur new to the game? The elder hairs, aka ultimate gifts, are the hairstyles from the elders from each realms, who u saw at the temple cutscenes. Plus the way to get them is to buy everything from every spirit from that realm’s constellation. Eg. To get the Golden Wasteland elder hair, u need to buy everything from all those wasteland spirits, then buy it at the Eye of Eden.
Omg I almost cried because the fact that that adorable moth downloaded the game only to discover mean people who bullied them is just so sad to me. They deserve so much more and I hope the toxic people really get banned from playing this amazing game. Together we are the strongest!
I'm a veteran since android release... And I can't understand why would anyone do that to other player, espessualy in such kind and peacefull game as Sky. Poor moth... I'm glad they've met you and you helped them to cheer up. It was so nice of you
Whaaaat this is heartbreaking. Moths are to ADOPT not to BULLY. My moths are growing into good players that will be nice to others because they learned and looked after me and my friends. Let’s all teach our moths good manners so this won’t happen to new generations of players.
WTH- This is the first time I've heard of someone acting like this. If I don’t really want to communicate, then I just avoid people or show it with actions (bow down, refuse and move away), this isation or acceptance of friendsh usually used to politely decline communicip. I have a friend who doesn't like newcomers, but he just keeps his distance from them. But never - offends or somehow mocks. And I know that he will not do this, even if he really wants to. The people this player is talking about seem terrible to me. Showing off your clothing collection is fine, but not when you start bulling someone over it. P.S. I can be wrong about something while writing this comment, it’s hard to say something wrong, it’s hard for me to speak correctly through a translator. It is very sad that there are such instances of players in the Sky community.
Everything you wrote here is correct, so no worries. I can relate to your friend, who doesn’t like newcomer. Whenever I see a new player I just bow and go off, but I don’t look down on them for looking boring and plain-and I don’t want the new player having a bad impression of the game. I really want to help new players in Sky, but I had bad experiences with two of them. That’s why I’m distance with new players.
There will be ALL types of different behaviors of people when it comes to online community games. Doesn’t matter if a moth, veteran, or are in-between. This game is no exception. Yes. I was a moth. I’ve seen situations like these happen multiple times to me and other players; most being trivial to me. The best I and you can do is avoid these players and if these escalate badly; of course; do report to us good veterans and TGC. The happiest I can do with others is emote spam dances, lay down, and join in music that in the appropriate moments where they may want to play with me. Close observation and Open communication is key too. 😊
@@abigailher9386 You don't have to like every player or interact with people if you don't want to but disliking a player just because they're new is a very prejudice mentality. What's wrong with a new player joining the game? At some point everyone was new and starting out for the first time. New players joining is also how the game grows.
OMG this happened to my little sister a week ago, She recently downloaded Sky on her Switch and suddenly stopped playing, I asked her why and she told me people made fun of her and I was pretty confused cause Im not familiar with the game at all I didn't know you could play with people in real life and they told her she looks poor and would fly her right in front of those black dragon things.
This broke my heart. I wanted so badly to pop in with my child and hug him. Being autistic, I got bullied a lot, so this is personal to me. I hate how people treat inexperienced people in gaming circles. Sky changed my life and made me so much happier. If its not me, im glad they least have you to be their friend. We sometimes get caught up in the grind and our own friends, we shelter ourselves off from the others, so i like to go help where I can. I may not be an OG veteran or that great of a player but i love moths.. ❤️
Being the best player doesn't come from how well you can fly, how many winged lights you collect, or even how many spirits you find. It's about being nice, and helping fellow moth's and even vets and anyone in between 🥺
I hope this moth continues playing Sky. There are only a few toxic players in Sky, but majority of players are nice. The cosmetics the veteran said they won’t get, is a lie. If they continue to get cosmetics from traveling spirits they should be fine as long as they like the cosmetics. But there expensive, so be careful. Traveling spirits come around again, but it’s going to take a while before they come again. The only cosmetic the can not get are ultimate gifts. After watching this, it’s hard for me to realize I was also a moth once. Whenever I see my Sky kid dress in moth attire on the loading screen before I actually log in sky, brings back memories of my moth days. But not that much players helped me in my moth days, maybe that’s why I’m so distance with new players. What can also help them is to watch some UA-cam video on Sky/how the game works: Nastymold and Noob Mode are really good channels to start out. Good luck, little moth!!!
Moths are precious. They are new to the game, and we want them to have the best experience. I always try to help a moth when they need it. I once helped a moth through the entire game, got them to all the spirits, and it was so much fun. I showed them all the secret areas and wl. We chatted the entire time and got to know each other pretty well, and now they’re a good friend of mine! We play with each other often.
Gross... I love moths. Most veterans I know adore moths. We spam happy emotes and fawn over them, adopt them, and teach them what makes this game good... Those players should delete their damn games. They don't deserve Sky. This community isn't *for* people like that. If anyone reading this thinks any bullying of any person is okay (even if the person is "bad" to you), block and unfollow me. Yes, this includes thoughts like "but what if they like/do/did (insert something really bad here, or at least something you personally don't like)?" No. Just don't bully people. The block button is free, guys. Don't talk to people that upset you online. Nobody owes you anything. It's that easy. If someone is actually doing something harmful, block AND report. Don't interact with idiots. I need to leave, this is making me mad, and it isn't helping my mental state... Shouldn't have clicked on this, but that's on me.
And to think that every like should bring you back here if you haven't turned off notifications... 😔 And worse when someone still answers about this in your comment... 😔 😂 Jokes aside, I sign under what you said. 👍
Players should really stop address others by moth and veterans because the social ranking is so toxic, behind every sky kid is real person so to be respectful we don’t need any rank at all only manners.
@@hino000 Moth us an affectionate term we give for new players. Moths are special because once you play the game and know stuff and aren't in moth attire anymore, you can't really relive those day except by helping other moths. Veteran simply means a player has been around like a year or something and has lots of memories and fun stories to tell! Great tricks to try, knows of fun places to go... Just an experienced player. We don't have a social hierarchy. At least normal people don't fall into it. I look at all players like this: If someone has 11 wedges, they have probably been around a long time, and will be more likely to want to be dragged during a candle run. A moth may want to be dragged too because they don't understand what to do. Someone at 7 wedges is confident, still has energy, and may lead.
Yellow Cape starters assemble! I am a year into game, but I am veeery fond of that specific one. Also! Protect and love the moths! Not bully the moths!
I also found a moth that he always get rejected to add friends and always heartbroken he doesn't know all and they laugh at him cause he doesn't know how to fly, after that I went to cheer him up cause I felt so bad he only have the free hairstyles and even said how to get hearts. And what they said is, "buy your own heart stupid moth haha" And we got away onto a safe place to talk.
whenever a moth add me as a friend, i will gladly accept it. but i will use my candle later to unlock more because i know moth don't many candles. so i use mine instead to unlock friendship tree
Some younger players also face bullying in real life so to have it happen in the game as well can be devastating. Thanks for showing this person kindness.
This is so disheartening. I didn't have the best experience starting out on Sky either, with people laughing at me and refusing help. I planned on never playing again, but a friend I met through one of TGC's other games encouraged me to retry it so I did and then I got to experience the true meaning of the game. This game is not about the cosmetics, it's about friendship and kindness. I can't believe vets behave like this, as if they never started out as a moth. For every 1 person that acts this way, there's about 100+ others that will go out of there way to help new players, myself included. These types of players that bully are rare, but they do exist unfortunately. Do not let them discourage you from playing, there are so many lovely experiences to be had with the right people, I promise you!
It can't be, I also had a bad experience when I started playing. I discovered the option to ask for help to look for the spirits, so they took me by the hand but left me among the krills and I lost my wings, I am very sensitive to sounds, Sky has been a perfect place to relax because there are no loud sounds, but that day I did want to cry after that. 💔 Now I have about 8 months playing, but I remain a solo player, and I love to help moths or another players. I really hope that moth doesn't happen like this again, or any other
@@dragonfly7745 many may have similar experiences within the game, I recently adopted a moth because it went through the same thing as me I don't know whether to say that I am already a veteran but I have more experience and I try to help the moths that I find
I’ve encountered a couple of players like this. What I noticed they had in common was that they weren’t even real vets (don’t get triggered ppl) and what I mean by this is that they’ve been collecting cosmetics for the few months they’ve been playing but that’s it. It is sad because Sky has such a lovely story and values. It is a beautiful game and has sooooo much to it and these ppl are just playing it for the social and cosmetics part which is only a small part of it. Like having more cosmetics will make them more than the rest or so. I’m really sorry this moth had to go through this. I’m a solo player but I help moths whenever I can and it makes me happy to see moths, like in a very endearing way. I hope this didn’t ruin the game for this moth 😭
Are you kidding me !? We really are talking about mothphobia ?! (yeah I just invented it...) It's a shame some our oldest players do it ! Sky is a game of friendship and support ! We SHOULD NOT let this minority of frightful players do what they want ! Sky is a haven of peace and harmony, if we start insulting each other... Then this game we love so much, will deseapered...
I did it once Thinking it was fun... But my friend (sum1 else) said to me that they had been treated that way... I realised at that time I shouldn't have made fun So I went the player (I made friends with that person ofc) And apologized to them They said it was okay but it hurt them a bit After that I helped this player get everything they wanted Yepp I am an old player (May 2020) And I hope people realise their mistake like I did Such people are the worst
@@beautyskyimpact It takes courage to admit when you are wrong and even more to apologize. So glad you took the high road and tried to make things right.
The fact that my expressions became totally serious watching and reading this video, this became a very serious and important matter. There was no reason for them to behave so meanly, it’s basic etiquette to be gentle with anyone who is not close to you. All human beings have feelings, our Sky Kids represent us in the game, and behind them there are real humans and it’s not fair to treat us badly. I hope the little moth keeps playing, Sky is very beautiful, enjoying the experience of playing it’s better than getting people.
Poor little moth :( im sad about this. Fortunally when i was a moth i meet only kind people. I hope that this moth will find more kind people like for me :^( They dont know that a moth not is special player or stupid. Is a person like me and u that only just start the game. And the veteran players must to remember that was moths like this.
Watching these videos makes me want to adopt moths and guide them or be their vet friend in game but I have a hard time talking to people in sky, I want to try and be a good vet and help moths
I met a friend at grandma's place before, and there were several players with her. She came, took my hand and said that they were leaving her in ridiculous places on the map and continuing to run away. My friend is just a kid!! Then they put a table in front of me and asked where I was from and made a rude joke about it. They were really rude people, I told them sternly to mind their business and act mature but if this had happened to me in real life they would have been in trouble because I was so angry remember that even though this is a game, every player has a heart, and even more so there are innocent children in this game, so be kind to people. If you can't do that then get out of this game. I used a translation sorry for the wrong sentences
this is so upsetting.. i started playing at the start of this year & luckily had a friend show me the ropes & i’ve met mostly nice people. a big thank you to all the beautiful people i’ve met
A game about kindness and friendship, and there are still toxic players like this. I mean it’s to be expected online, but this community is so wholesome a lot of the time, and I just don’t understand what you get from bullying another player. You were like them at one point. Smh. I hope they don’t quit and give other players a chance.
I find moths so adorable and always try to help them out in the hopes to make their day or give them a nice boost. Even when I’m not going to friend them or they aren’t a new new player I’m always looking to see if someone needs help with anything and I’m always happy to help them and make their experience wonderful. Moths are the game’s future and we need them to continue playing such a magical game. I’m disgusted that there are players who think it’s ok to treat a new player like this, to bully them for not having the cosmetics they do, and for not know game machines as well as them. We all start some where and those bullies were once moths themselves and should know better especially as fellow veterans. I’m so happy that moth met you and could have a good conversation with a good player. I hope they gave the game a second chance to see the rest of it and it’s wonderful community. Every community will have its bad apples but that dose not mean we have to tolerate them. Thank you to all the amazing players of sky who make the community bright.
Aww you are so sweet to chat with the moth and console them. I had the misfortune of meeting a mean player when I was a moth too. It was my first time in Crab Fields/Shipwreck and I was in the ship. I ended up getting krilled since I couldn't see where the krill was as I was flying out of the ship. It was my first time getting krilled, so I was a bit scared/disappointed at losing my WL. A player literally befriended me just to tell me that "I'm stupid for getting hit by the dragon." I was taken aback by that rude statement. Once I made it to the home space again, I immediately blocked them. Luckily, that experience wasn't enough to stop me from playing the game.
I began as a solo player, but because I never thought those around me were players but something like NPCs, that was until the social area on Wasteland, i was lightning a candle on a bench and my candle touch other new player, we talk a little and he keep asking me if a was his guide, so I told him no but we can go together, i named him/her Felix, with caution we made our way together, and a veteran took both of us throught Eden. So we kinda rebirth together. Now has been 4-5 months since I saw him online, but I'm patient and he will still be at the first star at my crown constellation until the final day
Now I'm crying. I had a similar experience as this moth when I was starting to be a more active friend. A friend I made told me that he was the only friend I needed and then he said he hated me. I blocked him immediately. But I didn't make another friend for almost a year. I'm glad you were able to encourage this moth to continue playing. We were all moths once and it is our job as veteran players to encourage new players.
when I was a moth something similar happened to me when I was talking to a person at a table but 2 veterans sat down and defended me, we became friends and they were very good to me.Unfortunately they don't connect much anymore but I will always remember them, they were the first kind people I met on Sky and the reason why today I continue to play with many friends and helping new players
This is very sad once I saw ppl who where protesting for tgc to let them say inappropriate jokes with boats it is very sad how our non toxic community is slowly becomming like every other toxic game.
Yeah ): I play ML and almost everybody there is toxic and blame everyone but themselves when dying or losing. I've played thousands of matches there and so far have only seen less than 10 people who are actually nice. and I don't want Sky to lose it's wholesome community and become toxic like other game communities. It is such a comfort zone for me
I can't relate to this since I haven't experienced any of this (yet) and I was adopted by Tons of vet on my moth days. I just hope for the moth to recover from that cyber bullying and one day, that moth will show them thay they're better than those stinky toxic players and will get all the cosmetics.!
I’m really sad that this moth had to go through this as a beginner. I’ve been playing sky for a week now and the people I’ve met in just a week has been one of the nicest people I got to know. The vets that have adopted me has shown so much kindness towards me. It’s lovely to meet great people like this. While my experience was completely opposite from this moth i can only imagine how disheartening they must have felt. If i was in their place I probably would’ve deleted the game right way. I hope they continued playing the game and met nice people on their way as well. I really want them to have a great experience in sky. Although there are toxic players out there, they are few in numbers. This community is amazing on most parts
It's always the younger players who have these issues. Y'all gotta be nice to eachother. This game is for people to chill, have fun and meet nice friends.
Sky community as a game is the most peaceful that ive encountered, for now. Its one of my comfort game. Even tho cr gets boring sometime, i will never quit this game. Personally i feel that this game and its community is something special among all games fandom. hope it doesn't get ruin by toxic people when the fandom gets bigger. The way vet players treat their moth players is very adorable and wholesome. I hope that moth found kindhearted senpais and fellow moths 🤭
When I started, a friend of mine took me to see the geyser for the first time, I still had the yellow cape but I was very proud of it (I still really like it), at the geyser a veteran looked at me and laughed at me, I remember at the time I was very sad but then I thought what an empty person to laugh at someone new to the game, did they found the game by chance? Everyone starts somewhere. Then it passed, I still wear my yellow cape, and I have my moths with me, we had a great time like that
It's true, the toxic players are taking over. I started during Season of Enchantment, on that first day I met a 1 month old player who helped me through the entire game day by day despite timezone differences. Then I met some really friendly veterans who taught me about candle running and oobs... I quit Sky later on as all my friends had left and candle running had drained me. Recently, I decided to start a new playthrough to see how the moth experience is nowadays. It's confusing, nobody wants to help you, practically EVERYONE declines you when you offer a candle to them. Many find moths to be annoying, i've always loved helping moffies and are patient with them. I wish I could talk to the players to hurt this moff and put on all my best cosmetics and ultimate gifts, saying they'll never get them because they played too late and are useless to me.
i feel so bad for this moth. it was their's first expression of a game.. but its not like this. sky has more nice players who are king to others, many good veterans who is happy to help the new players. it has one of the best community i've ever know. when i started there was so much moths and im one of them (still cuz i haven't play for a year) and there was one cute and very nice japanese girl who helped me and even spent candles to open a chat with me. she helps me to go to the locations i cant go to, help me to collect candles and spirits. she was very nice to me. this is what my first expression was. but i leave the game for a year cuz i feel bored. nowadays i see this girl very rarely. i feel bad that i cant see her again and say hello to her. and i hope that moth will meet someone as kind as this girl was to me and will be kind to them and help them. they deserve the best.
hope that moth would find ppl that would give them the best experiences in sky. To all veterans who helps new ppl and all players who vibe and really kind, wishing you guys best of both worlds
Sky is a social MMO, adventure, dress-up portmanteau, yet somehow hasn't completely gone down the path of toxic vanitity. Videos like this serve as a reminder that at the end of the day, Sky is like any online game community marketed towards all ages, the more people who join it, the more toxic people join it, and thus the more toxic it will become. As PC gets closer and closer to release and a new friendship emote that allows carrying another person bridal style, comes with the 3rd collaboration season coming up, there is a guarantee that more toxic players and more people unintentionally doing toxic things will show up. It is our responsibility to minimize toxic and harmful actions while promoting good and kind ones. Some things we can do include: Dealing with dating platform misinterpretations -When making tiktok couple edits only actual couples that know each other outside sky should post them, and putting an accessible disclaimer in the video, the caption, description, and comments, that the people making this are a couple but that this is not a dating platform but is a game for all ages -Correcting players that think it's for dating, and politely telling them that this is not a game meant for dating, due to the vast age ranges you will see here -Reporting players for harassment if they repeatedly perform this behaviour of flirting if able to (Sky is a game where one can only report players if lit) -providing support for those who have experienced unwanted behaviour of such type -Not doing such negative actions ourselves, as well as condemning them Dealing with bullying -Call it what it is. They didn't just "bully another player" they insulted the outfit of a player, they gossiped about them behind their back, they verbally assaulted another player, they led a krill to another player with the intention of killing or seriously harming another players progress, they did something discriminatory, etc. but bullying is too vague of a phrase use -Report another player if they are doing these actions and you are able to light them -Provide support to another player who has experienced this stuff themselves, -help any player confused on certain things -not doing negative actions ourselves, and condemning them If you are a victim of these actions -tell them to stop doing it if able to and explain why this action is bad or harmful, if this is a person doing this unintentionally -Report the person if you're able to light them -if worse comes to worse, remember you can leave the situation, to do this you can: >go to home aviary village, or another location in the game, >Use airplane mode to force a server change, and you'll be in a different server, hopefully away from the people performing these actions, do this if not in a dangerous area >close the game for a few minutes and relaunch it afterward -find someone who will support you, as these situations can have lasting effects on you -any combination of any of the above actions While us as an individual may not be able to do much, we are all part of a bigger community and if we all play our part, we all make it better.
I recently found out about this game because of the beautiful graphics. I started playing a little ago and even though I have a hard time talking with people, the few I've met have been nothing but sweet! One person even helped me in the eye of eden. It's sucks that this person's first experience was with bullies. Everyone was a beginner at some point and from what I've heard, this game is built on making friends and cooperation. Luckily, once they block them they most likely will never see those bullies again
I'm forever glad that I didn't have a bad experience as a moth. I was adopted by a lovely player about 2 weeks into the game, who taught me basically everything I know
What do the bully mean by useless?! Aren't them use to be moth, only have brown/yellow cape, less cosmetic, and only have 2 star at the back? Everyone literally start from he bottom at the sky. Do they expect new player who's still new to this game suddenly have all the new cosmetic?! I hope that poor moth will still continue playing this game. That moth also will probably being a Ikeman/Ikejou and have more cool cosmetic than the bully anyway. Protect moth from toxic player!!
why bully moff !! they are new players in the game… protect moff at all costs >:( it’s disappointing that toxic people play this wholesome game like, why u tryin to ruin the game 🤌 sky is literally a game to relax from stress (except for certain realms ehem) so don’t ruin the fun ;-;
@@ripleomittsandranchero.4738 i remembered connecting my phone to the car speakers and went to eden with my friends (so technically, we can hear the music and sfx of eden in the car).. i said to my mother “the sound is very calming, right?” and my mother was just like “no. it sounds terrifying” 🤣
I remember that when I was a new player, when there's season of santcuary,I met somebody. She guided me to every places in sky, and she's friendly! But... Now she suddenly left sky. Because she always met at toxic people and laughing at her because she's a noob. She also don't have time to play sky because she needs to work at office. Im very sad. I hope that toxic people's get banned at sky >:( it's very sad to lose my friend 😔
I also got bullied by a vet back when I was a moth. They just left me in GW at the shipreck and gone and sometimes laugh at me whenever I follow them. After that, I step my self up and discover this game on my own. Now I manage to see one and only moth that is active grow up even though we never play anymore due to language differences.
When i was a moth a year ago, a veteran showed the disgust emote to me at prairie lobby when they light me. When they lighted up the sky kids with cool cosmetics, they started spamming kiss emote. That day, it really made me sad because i only wanted to hang out with strangers. The worst veteran i have ever met. But not long after that I saw a chibi with brown cape and basic hair no. 3 playing piano at wasteland lobby. I added him, and he turned out to be an enchantment veteran. He told about his journey in sky and gladly showed me his cosmetics since i asked. He loves dressing up his sky kids uniquely too! He would come to me a lot of time and hang out together with me after our first meeting 🥺 The best veteran i have ever met! Now i also have lots of new player friends and we hang out together
As a care taker of moths and almost a sky veteran, I'm fairly disappointed to these some players who've making fun of the new moths. I felt really bad for the moth. He shouldn't treated in that way... I experienced back in the days we're some people I have met on Sky are pretty mean during my moth days and the thing is that most of the people I have met are veterans. But I'm still never let myself down for that. Veterans are the one who will treated them very nicely and help guiding for them, not just to bully and harrasing them if they were a hacker or just making fun of them how they wears. Remember, we all started as a moth, everyone was a moth. Sky is a place where everyone can have fun, explore, team up, and share thier own loveable feelings for there loveable friends around online. But this kind of situation are not acceptable for this game. I'm very glad that you helped and listen to thier voices from what of thier experience.💖
I've been bullied once when i was a starter moth and they're mocking me using the emotes, i feel traumatized at first haha but in the end, i've met kind moths and make them as my friend in game
Aww :( i feel bad for the moff they had a really bad experience and WTH WITH THE PEOPLE BULLYING MOFFS WE PROTECT MOFFS . Really glad you where there to talk to them ,they really needed that
I chased someone to light eachother’s candle, and then he and I started to talk, he said some bad things that really hurt. I was like “Hi! I’m catpop! U are? :D?” And then they said “I don’t give a sh catpop” and that honestly made me feel like he didn’t care. Then he started to ask how old I am, which made me uncomfortable, where I from, (as in what state) and then when I said I don’t fell comfortable saying they were like “oh. That’s okay :) but your honestly a *(n word)*. And started saying more slurs after that. I was at my limit. I left, saying goodbye and then I vented to my sky friend about it and that made me feel better. I’m so glad there are very few of those players, but that was just my bad luck. I’m so sorry for that new player, they didn’t deserve to be treated like that and neither did I. Edit: I don’t know how to block people :(
I do hope that moff doesn't stop playing cause of one bad run in with some rude veterans. I'm happy they ran into you, and you befriended them. You showed them not every veteran is out there to cause harm, and there's nice lovely people in the community.
super sad to watch 🥺 almost made me crying!! hope people are gentle to another and new. Happy that he met you 💖 wish i could give all my cosmetics to him
Poor moth omg :(( I'm generally a shy player and I had only one negative experience in the game so far, thankfully. I was at the granny's table and decided to sit and chat, and one player first ordered me to go get a burning prop and come back, then got mad when I said I didn't have any. Like "Are you stupid? Why didn't you get the props to burn?" Dude chill, when the TS with the burning props came we were still able to sit and burn the granny's food with a candle, I didn't think about this. I really didn't expect to be called stupid by a stranger for such a silly reason. It's just a relaxing game, chill.
okay when I was a new player in this game I also experienced the same thing and when I became a veteran I also still see the same thing I can't do anything because I'm afraid of making the situation worse, so after the toxic player leaves, I will definitely approach the bullying victim and chat with them, give them a heart and give them a motivation. I hope nothing like this happens again so that we can create a non-toxic fandom so this game is saved for minors
I still remember when I took a moths hand and led them into a bunch of places they couldn't get into yet. They were so cute bopping around!!! I stopped playing Sky for a bit and when I came back they were a fully fledged player!! I'm so proud of them.
I'm so sorry! This poor moth deserves so much better. The sky community can have some of those really bad people, but I'm sure that they will meet other nice people! I'm really happy that you became the moth's friend. I hope they are doing alright!
I also had the bad experience when I was a moth. It was my second or third day in game. I joined to players on the table and I asked some questions about this game, kinda what should I do here. Those two guys started laughing about how stupid I am, because this game is simple. I said that I just wanted to ask, and then one of them asked about where am I from. And the worst part for me. They said that I'm a poor Russian, I shouldn't play this game because I'm Russian and other rude things about my nationality I just went away. Fortunately I have never met such people after And at the same day I met a person, who showed me all the world of sky, even an Eden. He is still like my bf and teacher after months 😆
i cant, i really like this video, this channel is kind to a newbie! i can say to all of you seeing the comment, that.. please dont bully newbies, you started as a newbie too in sky, some cosmietics doesnt matter! if i saw a newbie, i would add "some" of them, and give hearts too ofc! thanks for teaching me how to be really kind.
Eventually we can't be there to "save" all the moths, they need to stay strong for themselves So here's to all of you watching We are the children of light,we marched from the spring fields of prarie through the dark storms of eden, and came back safely every time. We stay strong even when faced with death and darkness,as a family in sky Keep shining child, see you in the skies
I played an iconic anime song from evangelion. They did the "stop" emote and said they are sick of hearing this type of music, its boring, and that everyone plays that in Sky.
I’m reading the comments and I feel very bad for some players when they were moths, including the person in this video. We should take care of moths and make them feel welcome, we all were new at one point! Fortunately, when I was a moth, a veteran player helped me to relive spirits and showed me the way around the realms. Now I like to help moths navigate the areas and enjoy playing with people.
it's sad that many moths dont get to form heartwarming memories in their first stages of the game. sky's online network guided me to so many kind people especially in wasteland and its saddening to see moths being treated like this,,
I am a moth too and ive never met a mean person and i hope i dont. I was having a hard time with a spirit in the valley of triumph today and a nice player helped me with it and left after i got it. 😫❤️
I hadn't had any of this happen when I was still a moth (I've been playing Sky on the Switch Lite), but if I ever saw any moth bullying happening, I would jump in immediately and protect the moth and become their friend. Moths need protection! I'm remembering one of my first days on the game - I was in the forest, and a more experienced player became my friend and quote-unquote 'kidnapped' me to show me a cool place I hadn't unlocked yet (the Underground Cavern!). We've stayed friends and now have our own server with a few friends who play Sky, and I even introduced a couple of friends to it - they were new moths to the game and absolutely love it. I myself am obsessed with it and made a lot of new friends - now look at me, halfway done with the seasonal stuff for the Season of Shattering, I now have the Nintendo Starter pack+TGC Founder's Cape and Guitar, I finished my first travelling spirit and I'm on my way to completing my second constellation (The Hidden Forest (Forest Mama is my favorite Elder!), my first finished constellation was the Isle of Dawn). I've also helped a few moths if they needed it. :) I've come a long way since the Season of Performance (such a short time), and I'm hoping moths won't be discouraged from playing the game! Love to all Moths! 💗
Moths don't deserve to be bullied, as no one does... there is nothing to be achieved by bullying, and it will never make someone feel better. I will always protect moths with a cost of my cape and candles. Even though I myself am a moth yet (started to play on April, 17th), helping them is my main purpose of playing.
my first time in wasteland and a vet dropped me off right before krill got me. they thought it was hilarious how i was jumping around for my winged light and i left end avoided that realm for the longest time. However, ive met the nicest people in sky as i was struggling in the trials and we even formed a discord group where we played games online and eventually did a video call! the game is really cute and running with games along with the nice music and discovering new instrument songs and events is worth every eden trip!!
this never happened to me (as far as i can remember) and i'm sorry for what happened to this moth i hope she doesn't think that everyone in sky is toxic... let's protect our little moths!!✨✨✊
That's so mean I really hope they don't stop playing cause of that. And I hope if they do continue to play that they find many amazing people in the game. I've been playing for almost a year now and I've never seen anything like that it makes me sad cause I guide moths all the time and I really enjoy watching them collect spirits or winged light. I really hope that nobody has to go thru that at all and that we don't stray from being the caring community we have been so far.
Those guys didn't learn anything from Sky if they really think cosmetic is what matters. Well, you can give a plant good trellis, but if the plant is rotten, no trellis can help it.
Broke my heart. No player should be treated this way, especially new players! It's such an amazing experience to be welcomed well in the game by others. I experienced this and I'm sure that's partly what made me stay and fall in love with sky from the first days. Thanks for being nice to that person 💓
In my 4 years on that game is no suprising of what such veterans do to new players, still hope that can be a lesson, surely gave yer kindness to those babies that are now growing in the game
I feel grateful that some veteran players helped me when I was a moth. And now, I help moths too. For example, I helped a moth a little. I took a two month break from Sky, but when I returned to Sky, she had so much more cosmetics that what she had last time! She even had some capes I didn't have.
oml what you did was so heartwarming helping a moth, taking them to places like oobs, u gave them a heart for free, that's just so sweet I feel bad for the moth he/she doesn't deserve to get bullied, the veterans were a moth once. They should have learned their lessons. Sky children of light is a game meant to learn to give, make people happy. IM LITERALLY SUBSCRIBING TO YOU!
It’s ridiculous especially when they used to be moths
Interesting that toxicity exist in this game
@@GreenTacos especially when it’s supposed to be a calm, fun and peaceful game
I think stuff like this is more prevalent in the Chinese server
People getting bullied for lacklustre cosmetics
There’s always been toxic players. This wasn’t very peaceful to begin with
Dont people know we have to protect moths at all costs!? Im glad you met that poor moth, they needed a nice person to Talk to
I can't imagine people bullying poor moffs:(
When I first started this game,,, about 2? years ago, it was really difficult to find anybody who knew what they were doing and were actually willing to help me.
Eventually I just grouped with other moths and we figured out the game together, it was fun.
Sadly none of my first friends have been active in so long:")
But anyways,
Moths definitely should be protected at all costs.
Exactly like I love my moff baby's sm 🥰
very squishable bugs
I'm probably dumb but why are those people being called "moths" and what does it mean? (Kinda wanna know if from the answer i am a moth)
@@forgetfulmustache that’s great. Oh no, poor moth. But I totally get that. School is hard :/

I agree, sky is amazing but even better with friends!
Carry quests are hard enough man. Sorry you had to go through that
🥺I have never been this sad for a stranger 😢
More people will come to discover sky as the game grows bigger,I hope we all don't stray away from being the nice non toxic community that we are
You're right I am also a new player and or felt so Nice that all the people i met were super friendly and helpfull. I hope that will stay the same
Same here. My time as a moth was met with nothing but kindness and helpful veterans.
I dread the day that this game will become so popular that too many bullies/toxic folks find it and invade it and basically ruin everything good about it.
Absolutely agree
Sorry to burst your bubble but this community is not non toxic yall just haven't peered under the rug
I hope that maybe if everyone stays kind, the toxic people won’t want to stay
i remember one time there was this moth that was wanting us to follow them so me and my friend follow her in the caves in priarie and all she wanted was to play hide and seek
This is adorable 🥰🥰🥰
AWWW😭😭💖
That's so sweet 🤭😭😭
Thats why i love this game
And now im afraid about the toxic side
🤧🤧🤧
As a veteran player, I find the actions and behavior of fellow veterans appalling. Moths are the future of Sky.
All these cranky, gate keeping vets will one day leave, and if they have driven away players with their nasty attitudes, who's going to be left to help Sky carry on?
Some people honestly need a head check.
Well said!
@@PorcelainCactus tbh the new owl hair looks better than the old one
What the heck
People actually do that?
Knowing that now makes me want to guard the wastelands
@@Glorhbb haha😅
What's a golden wasteland ancestor hair
I AM crying, wdym almost. I couldn't keep it together when they managed to turn the moth's mind around to staying, and helping them out 😭

And it literally doesn't make sense to bully a new player for that reason smh
@@itzm3dora exactly ! thoses veterans where new players too ! they went through what moths did !
Whaaaat this is heartbreaking. Moths are to ADOPT not to BULLY. My moths are growing into good players that will be nice to others because they learned and looked after me and my friends. Let’s all teach our moths good manners so this won’t happen to new generations of players.
I love how this game is like a giant platform for digital found families at this point xD
Hope that moth is gonna enjoy the game and become a veteran player one day. ^^

Agreed. Cosmetics are ok to flex if the other people are fine with it, but not when you start bullying someone over it..
Wth that’s so mean D:
I'm sorry for you sister! 😢
What!!!???? That is just mean!
Asking permission to punch them.

no srs thats so mean, im sorry that happend to your sis ;-; Did she never play sky again?
I'd like to take them krill dodging..except they're the only one that loose stars
Then you ARE a great player 🤗
Noooooo don't make sad 🥺
Being the best player doesn't come from how well you can fly, how many winged lights you collect, or even how many spirits you find. It's about being nice, and helping fellow moth's and even vets and anyone in between 🥺
Even in this peaceful game there is still some stupid kids bully
But I feel so great after seeing this you are a good person ❤
Ikr Im pretty sure that player still kid that need a lesson
They deserve the Krill treatment
I hope they keep playing sky, whoever bullied them are just horrendous >:((((
I believe sky I one of the least toxic game out there. As a new moth who's starting to progress I will take on the duty to guide the moths
And worse when someone still answers about this in your comment... 😔

Jokes aside, I sign under what you said. 👍
@@K-J-A I am mostly quietly ignoring it, basically
I look at all players like this:
If someone has 11 wedges, they have probably been around a long time, and will be more likely to want to be dragged during a candle run.
A moth may want to be dragged too because they don't understand what to do.
Someone at 7 wedges is confident, still has energy, and may lead.
@@shadowdemonaer nowadays sadly many do, not all though.

Some younger players also face bullying in real life so to have it happen in the game as well can be devastating. Thanks for showing this person kindness.
ikr !? hope thoses moths found good people on Sky !
Now I have about 8 months playing, but I remain a solo player, and I love to help moths or another players.
I really hope that moth doesn't happen like this again, or any other

Me too, I only remember meeting nice people in Sky when I was a moth.
They were really rude people, I told them sternly to mind their business and act mature but if this had happened to me in real life they would have been in trouble because I was so angry
remember that even though this is a game, every player has a heart, and even more so there are innocent children in this game, so be kind to people.
Some people are pretty harsh to moths, I would be never this bad to moths
when I was a moth something similar happened to me when I was talking to a person at a table but 2 veterans sat down and defended me, we became friends and they were very good to me.Unfortunately they don't connect much anymore but I will always remember them, they were the first kind people I met on Sky and the reason why today I continue to play with many friends and helping new players
It's people like you that keep me playing and enjoy the game
This is very sad once I saw ppl who where protesting for tgc to let them say inappropriate jokes with boats it is very sad how our non toxic community is slowly becomming like every other toxic game.
It won’t be if we make the change now.
Yeah ): I play ML and almost everybody there is toxic and blame everyone but themselves when dying
or losing.
Then it passed, I still wear my yellow cape, and I have my moths with me, we had a great time like that
Poor moth, they're just new and already get bullied, it could make them have wrong view of the game point Ú-Ù
Buddy instead of bully !
Being moth is the cutest phase in skygame, all curious and obsession are wonderful
We can stop the toxicity. It hasn’t taken over.
i feel so bad for this moth. it was their's first expression of a game.. but its not like this. sky has more nice players who are king to others, many good veterans who is happy to help the new players. it has one of the best community i've ever know.
when i started there was so much moths and im one of them (still cuz i haven't play for a year) and there was one cute and very nice japanese girl who helped me and even spent candles to open a chat with me. she helps me to go to the locations i cant go to, help me to collect candles and spirits. she was very nice to me. this is what my first expression was. but i leave the game for a year cuz i feel bored. nowadays i see this girl very rarely. i feel bad that i cant see her again and say hello to her.
and i hope that moth will meet someone as kind as this girl was to me and will be kind to them and help them. they deserve the best.
hope that moth would find ppl that would give them the best experiences in sky.
Some things we can do include:
Dealing with dating platform misinterpretations
-When making tiktok couple edits only actual couples that know each other outside sky should post them, and putting an accessible disclaimer in the video, the caption, description, and comments, that the people making this are a couple but that this is not a dating platform but is a game for all ages
-Correcting players that think it's for dating, and politely telling them that this is not a game meant for dating, due to the vast age ranges you will see here
-Reporting players for harassment if they repeatedly perform this behaviour of flirting if able to (Sky is a game where one can only report players if lit)
-providing support for those who have experienced unwanted behaviour of such type
-Not doing such negative actions ourselves, as well as condemning them
Dealing with bullying
-Call it what it is. They didn't just "bully another player" they insulted the outfit of a player, they gossiped about them behind their back, they verbally assaulted another player, they led a krill to another player with the intention of killing or seriously harming another players progress, they did something discriminatory, etc. but bullying is too vague of a phrase use
-Report another player if they are doing these actions and you are able to light them
-Provide support to another player who has experienced this stuff themselves,
-help any player confused on certain things
-not doing negative actions ourselves, and condemning them
If you are a victim of these actions
-tell them to stop doing it if able to and explain why this action is bad or harmful, if this is a person doing this unintentionally
-Report the person if you're able to light them
-if worse comes to worse, remember you can leave the situation, to do this you can:
>go to home aviary village, or another location in the game,
>Use airplane mode to force a server change, and you'll be in a different server, hopefully away from the people performing these actions, do this if not in a dangerous area
>close the game for a few minutes and relaunch it afterward
-find someone who will support you, as these situations can have lasting effects on you
-any combination of any of the above actions
While us as an individual may not be able to do much, we are all part of a bigger community and if we all play our part, we all make it better.
Protect moth from toxic player!!
why bully moff !! they are new players in the game… protect moff at all costs >:(
it’s disappointing that toxic people play this wholesome game like, why u tryin to ruin the game 🤌
sky is literally a game to relax from stress (except for certain realms ehem) so don’t ruin the fun ;-;
eye of eden is very very relaxing, lovely music, much fun.
@@tiredalien3722 😂😂
Sky needs more kindness for this moth
People forget that they use to be Moth's too 🕯️
I've been bullied once when i was a starter moth and they're mocking me using the emotes, i feel traumatized at first haha but in the end, i've met kind moths and make them as my friend in game
Aww :( i feel bad for the moff they had a really bad experience and WTH WITH THE PEOPLE BULLYING MOFFS WE PROTECT MOFFS . Really glad you where there to talk to them ,they really needed that
I’ve had my run in with rude people too, but I’m glad you were able to give them a listening ear and kindness.
God I feel very bad for that moth... I hop he/she doing well.
Poor moth 😢 Those veterans must be gone, so rude, they thought he was stupid
super sad to watch 🥺 almost made me crying!! hope people are gentle to another and new. Happy that he met you 💖 wish i could give all my cosmetics to him
Aw thats so nice of you. Its terrible that there are bullies in sky too
I just want to hug this wiggle moff and squeeze it’s insides all happy. 🥰
It's just a relaxing game, chill.
this made me to take more care to every moth i will meet...
and also be kind to others ♥♥♥
You did a great thing. Thank you for taking that moth in. Hope they continue to enjoy the game.
It's sad that one of their first Interactions in the game was toxic but i am glad they met you.
okay when I was a new player in this game I also experienced the same thing and when I became a veteran I also still see the same thing I can't do anything because I'm afraid of making the situation worse, so after the toxic player leaves, I will definitely approach the bullying victim and chat with them, give them a heart and give them a motivation. I hope nothing like this happens again so that we can create a non-toxic fandom so this game is saved for minors
You should honk at the bully. It is good to help after, but it is also not good to be a bystander during a time of injustice
They said that I'm a poor Russian, I shouldn't play this game because I'm Russian and other rude things about my nationality
I just went away. Fortunately I have never met such people after
And at the same day I met a person, who showed me all the world of sky, even an Eden.
Eventually we can't be there to "save" all the moths, they need to stay strong for themselves
So here's to all of you watching
We are the children of light,we marched from the spring fields of prarie through the dark storms of eden, and came back safely every time. We stay strong even when faced with death and darkness,as a family in sky
Keep shining child, see you in the skies
I played an iconic anime song from evangelion. They did the "stop" emote and said they are sick of hearing this type of music, its boring, and that everyone plays that in Sky.
You are very kind, I like how you raised the spirits of the moth and treated him with all kindness and love
Can we just talk about the third person who joined with no context of the situation? 🤣 Thanks for lightening the mood a little
If that happened to my Friend i would show them all costumes from season of gratitude to all..
I've come a long way since the Season of Performance (such a short time), and I'm hoping moths won't be discouraged from playing the game!
