I made the stupod mistake of obtaining filler online. It was ellanse 2 and i thought i had vascular occlusion, my eye went black and i was losing my sighr and i was anxious for ages. The hospital said they see this regularly. Fortunately it wasnt a VO and i learnt my lesson. Leave it to the professionals. I took several picturws too

Ellanse is NOT an HA filler. It's a PCL bio-polymer biostimulator with very large particles that can occlude vessels and can cause nodules or granualoms if injected improperly. It can't even be dissolved with Hylarondaise! You are very lucky it was not worse.

Statistically, how often does this happen?

Vascular occlusions occur at a rate of around 1 per 5000 mls or 40000 mls if a cannula is used.

This shouldn't happen with a cannula, right? The cannula is safe and won't pierce vessels or veins?!

Also I went in office to get a type of Calcium filler and They TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY ABOUT VO THAT IS CAN BE DISSOLVED WITH DISSOLVER, THIS IS CALCIUM FILLER RIGHT?! Am I missing something? Some calcium fillers mixed with HA the HA can be dissolved but it will still leave the remnants of the calcium am I wrong ?

Even in the published consensus paper they demonstrate a case of vascular occlusion treated according to the protocol and the skin still dies. It is not a reversible product. Treatable- but that's not the same thing.

I think you need to run from that office. They clearly don't have a clue what the hell they are talking about

      It's lower risk. 1 in 40000 mls vs 1 in 6000 with a needle
