I locked myself in with my oldest WIPs, trapped with my UFOs! During a work trip I brought my most neglected projects along to see how many I could finish and vlogged along the way.
As always, all info about yarns and patterns discussed available through my Ravelry projects page and stash, linked below!

Maybe turn the not-enough-yarn cowl into a hat.
I think I have multiple 10 year old WIPs. My shame is great. Thanks for the motivation to dig them out!
What a clever video idea. I can't say I've seen a video like this before. 🌸 It's a great setting to work on the WIPs. I love the speckled yarn choice for the sweater.
I'm so impressed that you finished the Primavera sweater 🤯
I was never truly sure I would..... still haven't blocked it 😳
Good for you! UFOs are such a pain, even when you wanted the FO lol
That was either serious dedication or desperation! In any case, an awesome job.
😂 why choose?
Wow! You must knit at lightening speed to get all that work done in such a short time.
I love content like this. You could do a version with stash busting where you select a range of yarn and you're locked in until it's used up
That's a good idea!
@@the_copycat_stitch Its kinda what i've been doing. I have a small storage bin and any yarn from my stash that's kind of inspiring me but I don't know what to do with it I've been putting in there until its full. Then I can't get anything else from my stash (unless it completes a project) until I've worked through everything in the small tote. Makes it a bit easier because my stash is pretty overwhelming.
If I may surgest, turn the Lexington cowl into a bag, by sowing closed the bottem and puting in a ziper and lining. You"ll get a great bag!
That is a great idea! 🤔 Maybe I will....
Loved this video! Congratulations on finishing your sweater.
So fun!!!
This was so fun! Congrats on a finished sweater. There's nothing like the feeling of finishing something that's been dragging on.
I did this on a cruise recently. It was 12 days long, and I brought a hand-sewing quilt that I hadn't worked on for ages. I got a lot of it done - though it's nowhere near finished yet - and it renewed my interest in the WIP.
What an amazing idea! For me, the change in environment can also help motivate finishing up a languishing project. The sweater looks great.
Loved this video! It was fun to watch your progress. Your new FO looks beautiful. I need to do something like this, haha!
This was fun! Yay for finishing UFOs! 👏🏼👏🏼
I’m so happy for you, what a great opportunity to reacquaint yourself with your languishing wips. Great idea too, thanks for sharing.
This was a fun journey to take with you :) The satisfaction of finishing those old wips is something else!
Nice job! I periodically do the same and its always so fulfilling to get so much done. When I got divorced, I only worked on old projects for MONTHS and I got so many things finished lol.
This was a fun video! Thanks for bringing us along, and congratulations on all your hard work ♥️
I really liked this set-up!! :) Good job on finishing your sweater and making progress on the other UFOs! Did you end up casting off your cowl?
I would personally knit the cowl until yarn-end so that the remainder of the yarn does not stare at me and taunt me for not finishing it. That is also assuming it is not a suitable yarn to just throw in a sock as toes or heels or something
😂 good point
