I really appreciate you sharing your ideas with us! I like how to incorporate more fun into math. You said it was more work for you and “silly”. But I think it’s so sweet of you as a mom and just shows the love you have to try to make school more fun for your kids 🥹 good job mama!
We have loved anything we've used from Under the Home. I am also a psychopath and copy and pasted the lessons, printed and bound😂 I can't stand reading from a screen, and I wanted it laid out a certain way.
@ashleymurphy4813 I haven't done history yet. We've used 1st grade science which was so sweet, studio art, Geography, some of the phonics, music, art history and poetry. All from different years based on what I liked best for that season. It's so easy to customize it to what you want. We keep coming back to it.
Not to add to your resources 😅 but I feel like you may like IdleWild resources. She has the Organic Studies, and the Whimsy Studies. We did all of the whimsy studies and it was so sweet. My son learned a lot. We also used Guest Hollows Anatomy for Littles. Both programs use picture books, and activities. It was my son’s favorite science so far!
@@TheJonesClan6182011 for sure! There is usually a group activity or game every mission that you could skip or there are some that can be played with two. Otherwise the readings, lessons and weekly chart (like for saying hello, listening, using kind eyes, etc) would work perfectly fine for one.
I'm not sure if you're OK with showing your address on the envelope of the letter about ravens, but you might want to edit around the 13 min mark if you aren't. 🫣 Great video btw. I hadn't heard of the Time to Rhyme book before but just ordered a copy after seeing it here!
Glad im not the only one copy and paste things to print out
Hello all- apologies for the choppy editing- I tried to make a short trim on the video and lost ten minutes🙈 Oh well, enjoy what’s here I guess🙃

Love the math notebook idea
@@BaileyAcademy oh thank you! I do too!
You will love Under The Home, and she usually has the Libravox link to listen if you don't want to read
@@simplyjen334 I am so happy I found her site. We have some exciting plans with her stuff next year

@@rebekahian wonderful to know I’m not alone! Haha🤪 Have you done grade 2 World History? Or what else have you liked?

@ wonderful! We are considering much of the same for next year- science, poetry, studio art and phonics. It all looks wonderful

@@Busybeeexplorers thank you! I’ll check them out!
I used Alphaphonics with both my children, it is a great transitional program.
@@simplyjen334 thank you, I’m excited!
Do you think Training Aliens would work with only one child?
