This is a damn good port on the GB. I also like that fact that the level layouts/designs are kinda remixed from the NES version. Both versions are absolutely worth playing.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Game Boy version of the theme song just adds a unique punch to it due to the sound hardware. That key change at the repeat always gets me.
He's Launchpad From Ducktales And Ducktales Reboot. I enjoyed the NES version since I was 8 on my old tablet on the app NES Nostalgia. And with other games..
I remember playing this as kid. Thought the gold bars & diamonds were jetpacks and crystal hearts, what did the G stand for? Never saw an episode of the TV show though.
Very entertaining game, although 2 of the 3 powerups are circumstantial except for the power of lightning, it is also a bit annoying that enemies reappear when you go back offscreen as it is often necessary to avoid damage (This even taking in consideration the shield). Another somewhat strange thing is the physics of the character's fall but in general the game is good, both in visuals and in soundtrack.
Because it does have most of the level designers and music composers from Megaman 3. Do yourself a favor and check the superior NES version :) I can't think of anything from Capcom Megaman/Disney Gameboy ports that's not an inferior version, except for Megaman GB V.
Got this for NES and GB many years back, pretty much feels like a Mega Man game, but with Darkwing Duck instead (And not able to take defeated bosses weapons). The Capcom/Disney marriage in those days seemed to have put out one great game after another (Mickey Mousecapades doesn't count as that is truly a Hudson Soft game), though Adventures in the Magic Kingdom is that one dark spot in that marriage.
Capcom ported all of the "Disney afternoon" NES games to the Game boy, except for the Chip n Dale games. Imagine how they would look since the playable characters are so small compared to everything else. Either just two pixels that looks nothing like them or zoomed in so much that you can't see much. And Capcom would probably not even bother to try to make it multiplayer.
Mega Man (the gameplay) meets Duck Tales (the look) with a bit of Strider (the hanging). Never played it but looks like fun. I like the way the game looks. It shows that 2-bit monochrome graphics can work, especially when viewed on a "normal" screen and not a small, blurry, unlit LCD screen!
Unless you have a Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Super Game Boy (Super Nintendo Accessory) or Game Boy Advance SP (the foldable portable gaming system with a small colorful backlit LCD screen) to play Darkwing Duck on.
One of my favourite games for the GB. Played it soo much.
Same, that music was class.

are you aware that you can use your cloak as a shield by pressing UP?
Apparently not
Oddly that ability is used on the final level of this run but nowhere else.
The graphics in the game are good, and so is the sound. The music is awesome, especially if you're a fan of the cartoon.
one of the best games in the good old gameboy
back to childhood again, thank you soooo much
Tao Shu samehere
Amezing how the shrunked the nes game down to fit on the gameboy screen.

Awesome playthrough! Let's get dangerous! 💜💜💜
LET'S GET DANGEROUS!
It's... kinda stupid that Liquidator cancels out Megavolt. You'd think that'd power him up; Hydroelectricity & all...
Loved this game!
I didn't know there was a GB port of this.
It looks and sounds almost exactly like the NES version.
Good job, Capcom.
I remember playing this as a small kid. And tbh it looks pretty hard. Im amazed at myself for getting kinda far lol

No better way to end the year than getting dangerous.

per essere comunque solo un gioco per gameboy, ha una densità di pixel, elevatissima.
That dialogue chirp hurts me ears and it's creepy sounding. Should've used that sound effect in Gargoyle's Quest lol
Darkwing Duck: LET'S GET DANGEROUS!!!

dude , hold up and you can guard some projectiles! the turtle shells excluded among others ! :)
Though I prefer the NES version, still might buy this version too for my GBC because it looks fun:)
I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the winged scourge that pecks at your Nightmares! I am Darkwing Duck!
Back when Capcom and Nintendo were king
I remember playing this game

Just1 More like Mega Man
mega man was too hard.
never played this game before but i can tell it has some mega man aspects to it
Made by the same company. So, that's probably why it has some familiarity to it.

This like an exact copy of the nes version wich i happen to own. Awesome, might get the gb version just for shit and giggles.

Hahahaha! Where did you find this classic!?
I need this. I miss the days when portable games were fun, simple, & little dolls of the Protag were 1ups.
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
No Negaduck stage??? You can't have Darkwing Duck without his greatest enemy; His darker self from the Negaverse!

I could never beat any of the bosses...
Das war mein erstes Gameboy Spiel
Ein guter Einstieg.
Great version of the NES game, like the Ducktales Game Boy games and unlike TaleSpin for GB.
I Am The Terror That Flaps In The Night!
I Am The Video Game For Your Nintendo Game Boy From Capcom!
I AM DARKWING DUCK!

Brandon Reina Don't forget Game Boy Player for the GameCube! Problem: it requires that bootup disc to use it.
I did not know that was a Game Boy port :)
Recuerdo que mi mamá me compro esta joya en un mercado de pulgas me compro con todo y gameboy y venia con esta joya
I used to find this game scary when i was 8
Anyone remember the show having a villain called WolfducK? 'Cause I don't.
He was created just for the video game, but is also in the comic books.
Does this game have literally 4 colors?
Are you 12?
Buddy Guy I didn’t use the word literally

I love this game, but I just dislike the last stage as it is so damn hard ! The Tower's boss - Moriarty the mole was challenging as well.
Want this game for so long price now is going up :(
