I love this way of eating and have been doing so since you started your Utube channel. You even responded to some of my questions asked. Ty. But now I’m in my late 50s and doing more strength training and hearing a lot of protein concerns in aging women. It’s like a pound per body weight. I cant eat that many legumes and you rarely talk about protein powders. I would love to hear your thoughts in a video. Thanks for all your videos.

Hi, Emmie, I'd love your advice and thoughts on how to start having potatoes, in particular sweet potatoes. I'm scared because I always associate potatoes with high starch, high carb, and as a result, won't I gain a ton of wt. ? But I really would like to try it, I have a feeling Icould learn to like it ( potatoes in general ) and just wondering, how do I start? do i just dive in and force myself?

Hey sweet Emmi! I am trying to loose a few pounds gained while being laid up with inactivity a bad hip caused, then hip replacement surgery. yikes! How to reduce bloating?
Eat natural food
So confusing to say that it’s better to eat plant based and yet all the plant based packaged products are highly processed. I was vegan for 5 years and it destroyed my health and I was perfectly fine beforehand. Do NOT DO IT. I wish I could shake 19 year old me and show what it would do to me, but it’s a horrible, horrible thing…and I was educated! We need a lot of protein, high bioavailability. Meat is amazing for you. I’ve lost most of my weight eating more meat than I ever have with loads of vegetables. And nuts/seeds? Just measure them mindfully. I ate less fat because I wanted to be lower calorie but it messes with my hormones to a point that it was harder to lose weight despite a calorie deficit. Just learn to ear normal portions of healthy foods!
