real life: my friend had his S10 non-running legally parked in street in front of his house (insured & tagged) along with an 80's wagon that did run. These volunteer cop-types decided to ticket them and haul them off. As a nite shift worker he woke up and they challenged back and forth and when the real cops got there they figured out the volunteer cops were trying to haul off the mans property in a shady way. My friend won but he's still pissed off.
Thanks for subscribing! We're going to be posting up some new videos of this truck once we get out of our backlog of work here. Joel has been collecting parts for it!
I love doing S10s all the fun of a G body for a quarter of the cost! Over on my channel I did an 83 S10 with a small block all in for 1500 bucks and mostly built from everyone else's leftover garbage lol... Good work guys...I just subscribed!
@TheMidnightMechanic in fact that's what mine got...a 230hp mercruser 5 liter AKA Chevy 305... Got it for free locked up solid but extremely low hours... Look for a late 80s or early 90s Bayliner as a donor... It's either gonna be a 305 or 350 and old boats in back yards people almost give away... What part of the country are you guys located?
@Midnightautorepair we're in North Carolina. Joel has a good 305 that's been sitting in his shop for a long time. It was in our 89 Firebird Formula at one point.
My nephew has a 86 S-10 That was almost a complete Parts Pile/Facebook Marketplace build. He paid $200 for it with a blown up engine, we put a Olds 307 and automatic trans that came out of my grandma's old 78 Old Delta 88 and was just taking up space in my shop, he put new gaskets all around, and painted it up all pretty, the block and heads is Olds Gold engine paint with black valve covers and intake, The seats came out a late 90's Cavalier that he bought for $50 off of Marketplace that we took the covers off fixed the foam that was gone on them and recovered them with some new tan seat covers I bought several years ago that I had in my parts loft and then forgot about. The only thing he bought new was the paint and we painted it with Majic Implement New Holland Yellow paint and then we sandblasted and painted the original steel wheels black. He's probally got 1000 bucks into it all in but that little truck's a ripper. I'm actually kind of jealous how nice it turned out.
edit this down to present like one episode. Use more overhead time lapse, feature the big guys humor more often and show every detail. People watch this kinda of stuff because we want to see our past come back to life. Use more iconic cheap stuff and let us see our high school parking lots again. Overall ... watchable
Overall... watchable might be the biggest compliment we've ever gotten. 😂 We are working on trying to get some more quality content put together, so keep watching and appreciate the feedback!

@ProtoType99468 I'd be furious, glad he won!
This truck brings back memories of my 90 S15 Jimmy Gypsy 4x4. Love these old square body chevys. New subscriber. 😊❤

Thanks! We're a little partial to S10s ourselves. My first car was an S10 Blazer that will be featured on here at some point.

I really honestly believe that you need a bigger shop like I got
@RudySueoka-np9in a plan is being investigated
S 10 is a pick up not a car
You are correct, sir
