lol USA can hit that radar anytime even while moving with Siaw or Macko Rampage or simply cruise missiles with 100% certainty there is no escape for that radar in a war not even a single chance
Why would the USA want to destroy it? I can see Russia wanting to, lest it get shipped into western Europe somewhere, so look out for that news in a day or two.
Russian kit vs used diapers. The used diapers have a better chance of detecting incoming airframes.
It'll be in Tonopah or somewhere like that by the end of the year....
Doesn't take that long to destroy military equipment; before we abandoned anything we were trained to render our TOW systems inop. And that was back in the 80's.
Hard to do when they're moving off at 80 mph.
Think it was more important to get away alive then saving a dictators toys
Did the U.S. get access to this radar???
I have a disquieting expectation to hear "battle of wits with a thithilian when death ith on the liiiiinnne! Bwa! Haw haw!"
While it will be useful to know how the K1 works, and therefore how advanced the Russians are in the radar field, the west already has radar as good or better.
We need to replace the AI speakers with humans.
To do this, humans have to be taught to read aloud in grade school.
But, even adults can practice reading aloud and get better at it.
turkey will give it to us for some tips on stealth paint because we barely trust turkey.
Stealth paint! 😂😂😂😂
Meh... capture an intact S-500 then it will be more of a game changer. This would help as to create new shapes/forms.materials that will disperse the frequency wave length on its active array.
5 million $? I think this is rather cheap. But in every source this small number is the same. Where does this number come from?
Gee they must have learned that from ole joey briben during the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle
The tail end of a deal the stupidest administration America has ever had, set up. Biden should have tossed the whole stinking mess out, but felt cornered and had to do it. Imagine believing Taliban promises- but that’s what the 🍊🤡 did . Next, he’ll believe Putin. Oh, that’s right, he did
It's kinda funny reading comments treating this like some alien technology that will change the face of war. If it was abandoned then it didn't help them in that war regardless.
Well, they had to unfold it and turn it on, otherwise not much use, especially against an enemy in light trucks
if it worked then assad didn't have to leave syria
And how much intact technology did America leave behind in Afghanistan
It is already sold.
Looks like the pocdlet. Radar was towed and left for month as it’s not worth the repair of the overused system. It may of had its vital components also removed to add to other vehicles as a used parts junk yard . But one may still study it and use it for training bombing range targeting . After its inspection for any intelligence use . Nothing like what was left sadly in Afghanistan in joes 20 year disaster departure .
Well we know our own genius military brass thinks it’s cheaper to just leave that stuff behind so…
*Hmmm, how could the Americans or Israelis get their hands on it and get it to Golan heights or American friendly territory?* 🤔
Another shovel, right guys ..😅😅
but how the question is ,how do they operate it ,they all siezed military equipment
Mr. President Putin do not wait to long. Take your Radar System back as soon as possible!
Well, Turkey has purchased systems from Russia and is NATO member. So the technology is expected to be known. So where is the point to get this one?
This new Russian Radar system can receive all international sports channels without any subscriptions. That is why they have to capture it. Naughty Russian cheats!
Without programmable chips it is worthless.
If this is a human speaking, talk faster. If this is AI, holy shit do a better job.
I heard IFF and nothing else mattered.
If it were that important, Russia would have blown it up. This might just be the antenna on the truck and the mobile "brains" are separate.
HARM missiles are designed to home in on the antenna that issues the signals hence the computing system is separated. Looking at that truck I don't see the brains but only the power, drives and antennas. Nice story though.
That would imply that the orcs know what they are doing. They don't.
