I am a new dealer in Ontario Canada. Man the amount of positivity you have and how you see things from different perspectives make me learn to enjoy this game! Thank you so much and all the best!
🙏🙏 Appreciate it man. I have learned early on in this game you can’t win them all you just have to keep pushing through. There will be some easy ones and some harddd ones. Good luck with everything man.
Bro keep these videos coming.... You give me hope i can do this brother! Couple months from now ill be flipping cars too. Have a few more tools to get then ill be ready to start. Also I really respect that you dont sell the car knowing it has a problem. I plan too be the same way, if you know its wrong then correct it
This channel deserves so much more attention I love the way you breakdown everything and make it happen. Makes me want to do this in the future. How do you vet the cars your purchasing with so little wrong with them?
I CURRENTLY DONT HAVE A DRIVEWAY , nor do I have any friends or family nearby ( they all live 50+ miles away sadly enough atm ).. so sadly I can't do any flips yet, cus parking them on the streets is illegal and i would need to register them and literally pay 500€ , like 400£ at least before i can get them sitting on the road, but when i make some money from my main job soon, oooooh boy imma rent me a garage for like 50£ a month, and buy a car, deposit it there, and flip it ! :D can't wait ! I'm a car detailer aswell so these go hand in hand :) I'm so excited for the future. nice channel btw bro, love seeing people learn step by step and increasing their business, imma just do that and only that aswell, and create a legacy. greetings
I have an ‘07 Outback, 5 speed. I love the car so much. It does burn oil so I have to stay on that. It is needing some work so currently not driving it other than to take garbage down the driveway. But very capable and comfortable when it is working!
Reminds me of when I bought a mint 2012 BMW X5, with 58K miles, for $1.5K. Seller's local mechanic said it needed an engine for $12K...was, "locked up". Turned out it needed a crank case vent kit for $120 (purchased from the dealer)...had frozen, and failed, and was directing oil into the cylinders, which hydro locked the engine. Fixed it myself, in an hour, and sold it days later for $10.5K.
I remember trying to do the back breaks on a Mazda 6 and the bolt was stripped. On that car in the back you have a little hole to stick your socket though in the control arm and without a lift it was imposable to get enough leverage to get that damn caliper bracket bolt off. Do you have to lube up the new wheel hub or the axle when you change it out?
It's always fun when you're trying to work on a car and then all the sudden it starts great job on this flip as always Jay it was great to see the look on your face when you and your guy figured out the gas tank door I am curious about one thing though when you said you got an oil change did you change the oil yourself and that's what it cost for the oil and the filter or did you have to pay to have that done
Appreciate it man. Yes I went and got an oil change at a Local oil change place slash car wash. I usually try to record that part but they didn’t let me in this time during the oil change lol. Thanks for watching
Just a suggestion Jay doing the oil changes yourself could save you just a little bit of money and you know that you did it right because you yourself did it a friend of mine had an oil change done at some quick lube place or something and the guy didn't do the oil change correctly and it ended up messing up her engine so doing it yourself is more practical I think in the long run and especially if you're going to flip the car just a suggestion
I saved a lot as mechanic student on the side 2 days week it’s amazing feeling knowing how to replace taking parts taking a chance having a go I payed Someone 300 to replacing Coil spring both side 150 each side shock absorbers strut last time we’ll done !
I've repaired/restored and resurrected a "few" cars in life, mostly restorations but am thinking about doing what you do now that I'm retared..... RETIRED with too much time on my hands and NEED to do something other than sit here and watch videos on UA-cam or another episode of Jerry Springer all day so now thinking about doing this... fixing up some worn out stuff to resale for the extra cash and keeping me sanity in my retirement. First question is your opinion of the Subaru brand if you have one. My daughter has owned a couple/few with them being less than a "good car" with one, I think it was called a CrossTech or something to that name being a "First Year" model she said she had to replace the engine on it twice. Now, an engine replacement to her "COULD" mean something like a head gasket and I don't know any real details other than what she said to me that I stated above. That makes me a little weary about the brand without real and professional opinion of the brand though. The car being sold to a friend of theirs is still having "problems" but have no idea how knowledgeable the "friend"/new owner is about turning a wrench though either. Do you have an opinion of the Subaru brand? 4X4's are popular in this state of Colorado I have my shop at and being an all wheel/4X4 CAR makes a difference as well being they are seen all over this state and area of my shop.
Good luck with the new venture! Subaru is pretty good people love them. The are very good cars. But like any car if you don’t take care of them they have problems. But most Subarus last over 250k. Thanks for watching
I used to watch your barber channel back in high school years and years ago and just stumbled across your videos and was like this dude looks familiar There's a hack saying that mosquito off takes off the haze off headlight lenses
Enjoy all of your videos man they are extremely helpful and well done! Do you recommend FB Market place to buy cars to flip? Or do you have specific websites you prefer when buying a vehicle to flip?
Thanks so I look at key blue book also look on FB see how much they are going for. All clean titles for now. May one day I will get it to salvage. Thanks for watching!
bro loved your video small suggestion take it or leave it but the background music sounds scary af for no reason lol. I would change it to something different, but other than that loved the video, keep up the good work!
1:35 Bro the way to open that gas tank door door 🚪 is to push the back common fault on most cars but is the same to open all, push the opposite side from where you used your keys 🔑 just a little tip there to make life easier going forward and always remember me when you do use it 😂
Thank you and I'm waiting on my approval for Fingerprints hopefully soon then I will have my dealer license and I can get started. What's the first Car should I start with if you don't mind me asking ???????
When you run the monitors of the car it basically tells if the car is good to go. You have to run the monitors to make sure the check engine light doesn’t come back on. If all the monitors run and the check engine light doesn’t come back on your good to go. Thanks for watching
13:20 you think 300$ is bad? I have a 2011 BMW X5 Flip one of the right rear wheel bearings was shot making a deathly humming noise over 30 MPH and it cost me 700$! They gave it back to me after changing it and it went down slightly but still hella noisy! I ain’t paying no 1500$ for 2 bearings. So paid 30$ for a a bearing and hub off EBAY and throwing on the front right myself. Looked up the process it’s not even terrible I even have a puller for it too. SMH 🤦🏻♂️ never again paying 700$ for a damn bearing and all they did was change the bearing not even the hub… but nice job bro clean flip good profit
Yea man that’s why I started to do the work my self. I do it for fun aswell very therapeutic. It’s really hard flipping the car if you have to pay so much for labor. This why most dealers have their own mechanic shops on site. Thanks for watching
@@flippingcarsforfun I do TONS of work myself on my flips. Mostly all of them. But like steering racks, oil pan gaskets and other heavy steering jobs. I usually pay my Indy shop bc like you said doing it on jackstands can actually be risking your life. I run a detail business so been slammed and I got his x5 for 5500$ so I still had plenty of money to profit and still so but never again 700$ for a bearing lol 😂
I suggest you do a full diagnosis over everything before you throw parts at stuff try to buy cars that actually take work. Not just a car with a minor problem that needs little to nothing. show people anyone can do it with common tools it’s ok to mess things up that’s how you learn
At least you fixed everything that it needed. I bought one from a small dealer and I had to do everything. Paid 9500 and put about 2000 in it and it's like a new car 😅😅😅😅. Now I can take it anywhere. That's sad that these dealers get the cars and shit people. Good way to get hurt. Playing with people money 🤑🤑🤑💰
You could probably sell it for a bit more if you detail the car better. You can wash/clay bar/ compound/ polish/glaze and wax in a few hours for fairly cheap and shampoo the seats and carpets and wash the engine bay. Some people specially women pay most of their attention to the aesthetics of the car and not so much of the mechanical aspects.
Good videos but the music my man has gotta go lol drives me crazy!!! It’s cool to have sometimes but not the whole damn video and the music sounds creepy like a sci-fi movie …… 😂

Thanks for watching! Appreciate it.

10:24 What exactly do you mean by “ride the monitors”? Do you mean like wait for the dash lights to go away?
After the codes are clear you have to ride the car out to see if any codes pop up. The car has monitors that need to clear
I enjoy your vids! Nice flip there!
Thanks for watching! Appreciate it!
@@flippingcarsforfunboss how did you get Toyota to sell you their trade in vehicle???

Great video bro!!!!!! How you flip cars do you have a dealer license? In florida we only can sell 3 car per year
