    Great content. I love how you can use the blade guard with this sled. SUBSCRIBED.

      Thank you. Having the blade guard was my number one goal when I was designing the sled. Of course it had to be accurate as well. Thanks for subscribing. I subscribed to your channel as well and really like the candy dispenser. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

    Extremely smart being able to keep the blade guard on. One of the regrets I always have when I build a new sled is not being able to use mine. Great stuff

      Glad to hear it! Hopefully you can design a lightweight sled that meets your needs.

    I need to make one for my table saw but the groves on mine have the T track guide. I’m looking at just getting a new table saw without the T track guides. Making a sled would be easier then!

    Thank you for coming out with an awesome sled video, I love the runner idea, im definitely gonna make one of these. I have a 1962 Boice crane saw and also have a brand new Skil.

      That's awesome!!! I am not familiar with the BoiceCrane table saws but I have seen the BoaiceCrane bandsaws - they are work beasts. I hope you are enjoying your Skil. Thanks for watching the video.

    After getting hit in the chest by a flying piece of wood I definitely need this sled. Subscribed!

      Scary stuff when pieces of wood become projectiles. I just watched your trestle table build and subscribed.

    Great Video Married Man. Very informative. I need one of these.
    I'm using a Black & Decker BT2500 tables saw. I bought it new on 2003. Lol.
    I didn't see the link for the " Professional Woodworker Weights" I need a set of them too.

      Wow, if you get 18 years out of a saw it must be ok. I am sure you take care of it. I will look at adding the link for the professional woodworker weights in the description. :)

    Nice sled. I have the same saw, actually my second one. The first one wouldn't raise/lower the blade after a few years, took it back before warranty ran out and got another. It's OK, I've got mine built into a 5'x6' table I built last year. My main complaint with the saw is the fence. Getting it square is a PAIN. The newer model out now has a better fence I think.

    • @MarriedManWoodworking
      @MarriedManWoodworking  3 роки тому

      I have heard the newer model has a better fence - which is great because the fence on mine (and yours) is difficult to align. Thanks for watching. If i had the room I may build a table around my saw as well - that is a great idea.

      @@MarriedManWoodworking I got the idea from Linn at the Darbin Orvar YT channel. Her's was 5x4, has drawers, storage etc. I built mine very similar to hers.

      @@MarriedManWoodworking I put removable casters (Rockler) on mine. Not that I plan on moving it, but I can. Took a while to build, but definitely worth it.

    Can you cut a 45 with this

    • @MarriedManWoodworking
      @MarriedManWoodworking  3 роки тому

      Not as it is currently configured but I am designing a jig that will attach to the sled to accomplish that very thing. When I make it, I will make a video.
