I've been a old civic and integra driver for quite a few years. just got my 1st CRV (98 awd 5spd) after moving to Washington state. I needed something for the winters. This is a beautiful setup. I already put a set of +size A/T tires on mine. It does amazing in the snow, very impressed with the tall little car. I look forward to being the first out my back road and blazing a trail thru fresh overnight snow. Thanks for sharing !!
Nice!! I'm planning on getting a CRV as my daily and I've been looking into the Tru-Hart Kit. I'm glad to see someone who has installed them and is enjoying them so far!
Omg. What a woman.. 🤤.. When I clicked on this vid I wasn't expecting to see this beautiful face and HAIR... 😃 Car looks amazing. Pondering my approach on my 01 AWD. The green looks good.
Thanks for the inspiration! I have a 2000 manual that's ready for a suspension upgrade. I may be a senior but I love the dirt too. Subbed too..subbed too..subbed
Great video, I was at a toss up between a GEN 1 RAV4 and CRV but after watching several videos and reading reviews about the CRV being a little more spacious then the RAV4 I'm looking at getting a CRV. Also the various videos of what mods and upgrades people have done to thier CRV's they look amazing.
Oh yeah for sure!! I liked the RAV4 but never really looked into it. I’ve also stuck to Honda, just knew more about them. I actually intended on keeping everything OEM for value but wanted to keep it alive! Got a new engine and new chassis parts and has been better since!
The big advantage of the CRV is the really High revving K Series bullet proof Engine with that mad VVTI kicking in... Go for the Later Facelift MK 11series circa 2004 - 2007 with all the extras Leather Seats, Cruise Control, Front Fog lights, painted Bumper and other stuff...
have you seen where you can flip your front upper control arms upside down to get a bit more lift/clearance? just unbolt the ball joint bracket and mount it the opposite side when the arm is flipped.
Great vid! Mind if I ask you why did you think that there was a need for replacing the front lower control arms? I'm about to do the exact same setup as yours but still considering the front and rear lower control arms, not really sure if I really need those as I'm only planning to do 2" lift anyway. What do you think? Appreciate your answer
A lot of it was changed out because tbh I have no idea when or if they've ever been replaced. They were probably fine I heard so much noise and instead of guessing what's messed up, well I just replaced a lot of it.
this version is really rare in my country ,can i get yours please.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾so ready for it .i love this version so much,♥️♥️ and as a woman you are doing a good job.love the way you give your details 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This is really good stuff. I changed all the struts to the cheap Monroe for the meantime, will look into this trueharts for sure. How they treating you?
So far I am extremely happy, I did hit a snag but that’ll be in a video coming here shortly! I am glad I switched it all out! But for sure it def is on the higher end on price but well worth it.
Nice Video. That was a lot of time & effort you put into upgrading your CR-V. I’m considering doing the same. However, I would like to see the after benefits of your CR-V. Is the upgrade worth my time? Or should I just invest in a New Honda Passport - Sport.
@@Jessimikuh thanks! just picked one up from a family member the other week. super well maintained. pretty positive going this route instead of spacers. thanks for the content and reply!
Los amortiguadores se ven de Buena calidad.quisiera saber cuando te Costo amortiguadores y controll arms y barra trsera a y cuantas pulgadas la levanto. Bueno gracias por tan bueno video.
I tried to Lift mine but being naive I got aerogenics spacers and had original oem axles so they started spitting out grease. I didn’t want to put the extra money into it cause I heard it would be plug n play. Still have the desire to lift it but we’ll see what happens lol. With the tru hart struts you have aftermarket axles as well ? love the way it looks btw !
Oh my gosh I also have a Honda crv 2001 AWD automatic. Mine needs repairs however not sure what is the repair I need next. Maybe you can check my video with your input. Or a mechanic. I'm in Canada!!
Thanks, interesting and instructive video. Only problem I had was with sound; your voice just audible with sound turned right up but then music is way too loud, so I watched with low sound, I couldn't hear what you were saying but saw what you were doing anyway. cheers.
At least over $1800 or more can't remember honestly. TruHart items were about 1500 total not including MOOG, BREMBO pads and rotors,, Ridgeline brake lines
Hello! You are just great, I also have a CR-V1 and I love it very much, please help me buy a lift kit like yours, I want to raise the body like you. May I have store contact? I am writing to you from Central Asia, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. Thanks for the answer.
@Jessimikuh I enjoyed your quiet spirit. Do you read your Bible and have a daughter- Father relationship with the Lord. Btw I got my truck almost ready. Got the parts but took cabinet making instead of autoshop.

was looking at cheap overland builds and stumbled across your crv build, love the rawness of working on a older vehicle
Looking at the name brand parts...I don't think this was a cheap build...
Thanks for your video, I am going to exactly to lift it.
I learned from your way.!
Beautiful job!
Hey thanks! 💜
Hmmmm.. motivating video. Thanks from the Netherlands

So far so good! Def love it not to big of a car and still has safety and no terrible blind spots.
Love the crv content !!!
Thank you! 🫶🏼
Nice set up! Love how the crv looks 💯🔥

Thanks, been thinking about maxing it out and getting new wheels/tires. Not sure yet though!

The shock absorbers and springs you used raise the car, right? Where can I get these for the 2010 model?

Yes it raised 2" could do 3 but didn't want axle bind
Great video.. how many inches did you lift-up?
Thanks ❤
It was a 2" lift
@@Jessimikuh thanks for the information.
@@Jessimikuh i'm planning to use a 31inch wheels. How much inches of lift would you recommend
If you go over 3" you're going to get axle bind for sure, maybe if you do coilovers and spacers you can go higher but then that would cause wobble.

So far so good, the only thing I had to replace was the stabilizer links… for some reason I kept getting bad MOOG parts and this one was adjustable.
how was the ride quality of that?
So far really good, much better of course, no shake or wobble

Ya han pasado dos años y el precio definitivo va costar mas. En verdad no sé cuánto gaste pero fue mucho jaja
Could i get away with just replacing the coilovers with truhart or do i need the whole kit?
wow 👍

Hi Vaness, for some reason I barely seen your comments -_- I’m sorry
Bottle jack works best for lifting control arms as I've been doing this for 20 years now
I don’t fully trust bottle jacks, I guess just for lifting yea but not the whole car. These are dangerous imo
@@Jessimikuh Wouldve been a whole lot easier for you if you wouldve put the LCA's on first, then get the coilover in there.
When did Truhart get so expensive… I swear it used to be the cheaper suspension bits.
Yes it used to be, wild times!
Everything used to be much cheaper
Nice Job
Thanks for watching!
how do the Tru harts ride? i wanna do an upgrade on my 05 crv, it really needs new links and struts
They ride really good honestly!!
Hey, what exact paint, primer or wrap (?) is that please?
Thanks, interesting and instructive video. Only problem I had was with sound; your voice just audible with sound turned right up but then music is way too loud, so I watched with low sound, I couldn't hear what you were saying but saw what you were doing anyway. cheers.
I’m sorry about that. That is one thing I am still trying to get down. Ratio of sound. Is it all my videos lol I’m probably just rambling my words 😂
How high did the tru hart bring the suspension up
2" I didn't max it out to the 3", I am waiting to get new wheels and tires to give go all the way.
Hi! Where did you buy the clear tailights? Thanks
eBay but just be careful on which one you get, some people upcharge or tamper with it
Nice work
Is that 2" Lift ?
Thanks! Yes, max is like 3” but I’m waiting to get new wheels/tires. Since the tread was good on these.
Are the coilovers soft enough for off-road or more for street driving?
I’ve had these on for 7 months now. They’re stiff I would say still I have not gone off road with them yet. I’m sorry I can’t answer you on that
👍
what tires you running
215/75R15
This makes me want to lift my rdx .. I heard the shocks are the same .. has anyone tried putting parts from truck to another??
Wat size of tires u got on?
how much did everything cost as far as parts?

@@Jessimikuheverything i got ran me about $1400. had already replaced rotors, brakes. stabilizer links etc
Can you write number of parts this lift complect? I have Honda CR-V 2000y
How much for the kit?
what material is that being used for the body work
What body work?
I stayed cuz I saw the crv
Right on! Check out my Honda beat too! Thanks for sticking around!
I actually plasti dipped mine this color ❤
Nice! How many bottles did it take? I want to professionally paint but wrap was cheaper and can always change it!
Incase you want to see how it looks 🤓
Did you have my axle bind?
Not sure what you’re asking?
@@Jessimikuh its when you lift CRV's the axle angle causes it to bind and wobbles when driving. Did you get that problem?
I guess the way he worded it it confused me lol definitely no wobble just rides stiffer now
Hellow where are you buy the suspention
TruHart MOOG and Whiteline performance

It was online with TruHart truhart.com/search_result/ you have to put year make model
Классно, но много лишнего откручиваете, чтобы заменить :)
Which part?
Hermossssaaaaaaaa..
Лайк!!! Глянул....
Man too bad the front isn't as easy as the back 😔
Idk seems like the only hard part was trying to put things in on a lower ends of things (because it was being lifted) if that makes sense.
White why didn’t you just do the whole thing in green
I have forever liked this look on 4Runners and tacomas so went I found out a friend did wrap. Well then I officially did it! Paint also costs too much
Great video. Are you a believer? If yes are you single?
Lol what
