This whole show is a fraud. It stinks to high heaven.
Yes, I get it, it's an entertainment show and they have to drag it out as long as possible, but yet AGAIN, they find one item and scurry back to camp instead of checking the other flags while they're out there. It's become so predictable.

They failed to comment that the rock they found above the seal was probably placed there by whoever buried the seal.
The rock looked like a potential meteorite, which would be worth a lot more than Oak Island treasure.
"I like the Laginas and their team. The way they interact and how they get excited about every little thing they dig up and discover is fascinating to watch. The investigations they conduct on the objects are also worth seeing. The mystery surrounding Oak Island, on the other hand, is almost uninteresting, as they don't really find anything related to it anyway."😉
The entire island has treasure and history all over it not just a big treasure for every inch of the island hold the mystery of its history ❤ fascinating

But nevertheless, I love that they keep finding interesting and remarkable things, and love that they seek to find how all of these pieces of the puzzle fit together!
Always a tidbit here and there, but never anything about treasure.
Grandfather and I were quite excited on one certain episode when they found some old chicken bones!! It was incredible! What a astonishing find! Now we know their getting close to the great treasure says grandfather!
Yes! I remember that episode where they found the (chicken) bones and it took a scientist to determine that they weren't human bones.
The reality is chicken bones even in the swamp would have decomposed
My money says Samuel ball found the treasure. That’s how he became so rich and left the island for good. It’s only thing that makes sense.
Samuel Ball definitely found treasure that had been buried in shallow holes by pirates/privateers who were on Oak Island. What is buried/concealed deep underground in the Money Pit is something completely different.
It would be nice if we all knew what Mr. young found on lot five during his ownership too .
I agree! This is just one of many things that peeves me about this "Entertainment" Reality TV show. Just give us the facts about Oak Island and tell us viewers exactly what Mr. Young found on lot 5.
Young had a website (maybe still up) and it documented what he had found, but in the end, he stopped looking. Some coins, musket balls, etc.

I feel the same way, I know the producers and Laginas are milking every episode in hopes of getting another season of Oak Island. For God Sake Just End It!

@@KimonSheri If you are referring to the non-indigenous towering Canopy Oak Trees seen in B/W archival photos that lined the east shore of Oak Island adjacent to Smith's Cove and for which Oak island got its name, none are left. They are all gone. The last remaining "dying" Canopy Oak Tree was gone after the year 2000.
@@johnwoa That's just sad. I watched them destroy over 100 old graveyards in Cali, always wondered why. Well, now that we know our past is a lie, it's par for the course. And, thank you for your reply. Shows you care too. I'm over 65, always knew in my mind something was missing. Blessing's to you friend.

How wrong you are! They found a lead bag seal! And Laird Niven positively identified it with regards to the lettering found on it. Gary Drayton knew it wasn't a "button" when he unearthed it so he assumed it was a coin! But Laird confirmed what it really was. The state-of-the-art technology they are using to examine artifacts on this show is very impressive. Interestingly, without this "Entertainment" Reality TV show, none of any of this modern-day exploration, excavations, searching, research and federal and provincial government involvement would be taking place on Oak Island. Without the Laginas, the island would probably still be sitting there dormant with very little treasure hunting activity occurring.

I have a love/hate relationship with this "Entertainment" Reality TV show, but in all honesty, as I stated in my Comment, none of any of this work would be occurring at Oak Island if it wasn't for Rick and Marty, et al and the untold tens of millions of dollars (USD) that are being pumped into this endeavor from all corners of the spectrum including the (federal) Government of Canada as well as the provincial government of Nova Scotia. I just hope the team of archaeologists that are there can solve all six (6) aspects of the Oak Island mystery and that the results are made public if they do.
I quit watching it when it seemed like this guy Gary was planting treasures to keep the show going.
That's not exactly a remote island that had no history.
Or when his metal detector went crazy for a pottery fragment (with zero metal). Horrible editing...
