SMITE is a third-person action MOBA. Instead of having a traditional isometric view (RTS), you are IN THE ACTION with a tight third-person camera. Todesnuss Considering that Horus, was born after Osiris's reconstruction, I think you may be mistaken. I am fairly sure that in the original myth he returned with a hand missing, so Thoth made an artificial one.
@@llewelynshingler2173 It was a magical dick. So horus is actually believed to be old time Jesus. Cause he was a son of god but he was not conceived by actual skin touch. Cause his mother got pregnant magically.

I enjoy these reveals that they put out for the new upcoming gods. I like how they put the lore in. Certainly puts more character into the game. I'm curious to see set and Osiris son
Now we just need Obelisk and we have all 3 God Cards.
Fun fact: the missing piece was his member, where Isis proceeded to make one out of clay.

originally in Egyptian mythology, it was a shepherd's crook and not a sickle, to signify guiding your people, and the flail for avenging, but i can understand why that was changed for the purposes of Smite.
Now Horus! Then I'm happy =) ...but seriously Horus has always been my favorite. Even got a statuette from egypt...
Osiris as warrior and Ares as a guardian? Hi-Rez, please invert these two god classes for mythology's sake. Also, can't wait for Horus, who should, at least according to mythology, be a warrior.

I only hope they make a big difference in appearance than anubis, their animals are similar, but if they make him mostly red (color of chaos which he is the god of) and give him storm related powers it will be awesome.

Very interesting powers. Can't wait to play with Osiris!
My first impression was "why green?". If it's a corpse then I imagine maybe light grey skin with a very faint percentage of green. This guy looks like a washout Hulk. (edit: so I learned his skin is green because green represents rebirth, so ...my bad and thumbs up to the designers). And IMO his crown and gold accessories should be more vibrant like the golden versions of the gods, just to make contrast and make his skin look more decadent.
ps: bring back original Kali skin!

About time. He is one of my favorite egyptian Gods along with Ra, Apophis, and Set. I hope they put Set & Apophis in this game

They got most known gods for Egyptian but if Osiris, Ra, Anubis etc- are there then they need to put Seth as well especially when Osiris and Ra are in the game its like Zues, Poseidon, Hades without Ares but he's actually in there and Seth isn't? When he's actually known for Chaos. I'm pretty sure they will put him in there soon I hope he's a warrior or assassin. Who knows I just think its fair, but they're probably saving best for last for each subject of gods

Baptiste Brethenoux So maybe "we" should stop saying every new God is OP, when it's obviously not true. ;) Osiris, the first warrior with NO means to heal himself at all. Even Odin gets some passive HP5. He also only has his ultimate as a movement ability. He'll be fine.
