So are there any League players here besides me that actually LIKE this game, or are you all just making comparisons and claiming the game sucks? Seriously, if this game had come first, you would claim that League champions with similar moves ripped them off. Sure you can pick out different abilities that are similar, but there's no clear parallel to any League champion.
I love this game. It's pretty cool. Close to League, so that's one of the reasons.
as a LoL player, honesly, she looks more like angewomon from digimon than any LoL champ,
and again, honesly, i used to like smite but it goes trough a routine similar to LoL

William Wang She is, no doubt about it. The whole 'you can dash again if you hit a target the first time' is bull, she just gets two dashes whenever. Her shield is an invulnerability, reflector, and heal in one with infinite durability. Her slow is crazy strong, and her ult makes her the tankiest bitch ever, not to mention almost impossible to catch. She's the ultimate assassin with KASSADIN levels of nuking and mobility.
Nemesis to OP better nerf every League Of Legends Champion and ruin the game
when u watch this and feel pro like These fighting scenarios but then get ingame and run around like a bitch and scream then die.

Compared to other gods, she doesn't seem that op. But her kit looks great, and HOLY FRACK SHE RUNS LIKE A FREAKING NINJA I WANT HER.

She clearly still took a decent about of damage from his tornado. It's effect lasted longer than her shield.

Maybe. I tend to think not though seeing as the shield returns a portion of the damage. I'd think you would need the dragon pretty low to kill him with his own skill. I'll love to do that for sure. Give that ass a little taste of his own medicine.
I think if the shield is that strong then she may be a must pic vs any Gods that are heavy dot based.

I have a Nemesis god idea on Smitefire. The 1 I had on there had a double casting mechanic to it. It was more of a forward swing nuke but it's cool that they took inspiration from fans. HiRez FTW!

When you become friends with people who you used to hate and vice versa, the name Nemesis came up once and it stuck. I know a kid people call Spuds. I have no clue why. They're nicknames.

Smite certainly gets updated very often and thoroughly. One of the few secondary mobas(not LoL or DotA, which I consider primary) I consider playing.

LoL have to care about the balance, they have more champion, and hard to be original now. But yeah they are still slowly.

Best known from Ulysses Hubris (he said he was the smarter of all even Gods after the defeat of Troy by theTrojan horse) and Nemesis doomed him to many years of wondering away from home (Iliad)
She looks pretty good, she kinda reminds me of Tyr in a way, her fighting pose and her overall idea, she's the spirit of vengeance and Tyr's the god of justice, although I still think Tyr is better, in my opinion
Both Nemesis and Tyr are looked upon as gods of justice in our days, the goddess that you can see presented outside law houses is Nemesis!

For those saying in the actual Greek myths Nemesis is older and possibly more powerful then the main gods, goddesses, and creatures we're familiar with due to her being born to Nyx and Erebus that's both correct and possibly wrong as 90% of the myths involving Nemesis state that Nemesis, Thanatos, and Hypnos were Nyx's children but somehow Nyx gave birth to them without getting to third-base with another one of the primordial deities, and there are a few myths claiming that Nemesis and her siblings' father is Oceanus who was one of the first titans created, and a few that state her father is Zeus himself.
Im glad they are reducing the memory data my PC is weak and it runs the game only at 25-30 fps lately with those updates so this should make my game feel better :)

Just incase no one knows, Thanatos and Nemesis are siblings :D, among other gods in mythology (Zeus just couldn't keep it in his pants)

Zeus wasn't the father of any of the "ideas personified" (Death, Sleep, Revenge amongst many others like Destiny, Fate, Dreams, Blame, Woe, Strife, and so on) Gods. Nyx, the personified goddess of Night, just bore them.
Also, the "ideas personified" are also known as Primordials for they came first before the Titans or Gods.
Jon-Carlo Canezo Nyx and Erebus are their parents, Erebus is darkness personified.
Please put Hecate in Smite.. She can be the Goddess of Witchcraft or Crossroads, holding 2 torches and her passive could be Triformus where she transforms from Maiden, Mother then Crone as her HP depletes but gains buffs as she passes through the stages or something (maiden (100% HP): MP5, mother (75% HP): mp5+protection then crone (40% HP or something) with both buffs+magic penetration). :O
Also now timing that shield when Zeus tries to Detonate will be so rewarding

Nemesis is the Greek Primordial Deity of Retribution. Themis is the Greek Titaness of justice, possesses the scales of fate and is blindfolded so her judgement is entirely impartial. I fear smite may have overlapped the two into one Goddess looking at the character model for Nemesis and her passive.
Does it really matter? I think it made for a cool concept at the very least.

I think Hi-rez should make a daily event where players can draw skin of their favorite gods, at the end of the event, the top 3 skins are chosen by fans or Hi-rez staff and the creator of the skin can get it for free
Denton and Nemesis are pretty good friends it seems.
As someone who has played as and against Nemesis, here is my review.
So, passive: self buff while also nerfing anyone she hits. Meh, she's melee, and it isn't HUGE. Quite a bit more benefit than quite a few passives in Smite give, but not huge.
1 (in the reveal): Decently short range dash that can be used twice IF she hits a valid target. Doesn't deal too much damage. It's neat and flexible.
1 (in the game): dashes from one tower to another instantly without any need for valid targets. Also still flexible. Basically makes running away completely impossible even if you also have a dash.
2: clears the entire wave in one hit. Not so bad, several mages can do that. Also slows you to a crawl and deals massive damage. Better build the sprint...too bad the cd is so much higher than slice and dice's. Best just stay in base until it comes back up.
3: Most broken spell in the game. "Oh look. Ra and Ao kuang are ulting." *press 3* Double kill! "That was easy." (Could also throw in a thanatos ultimate that didn't land the insta-gib, and get an instant triple, but that's a bit overboard, isn't it?)
4. Oh hey, you bought that sprint right? Well, you're now speeding up nemesis as well. Because fuck you. Oh, and you bought protections? Well, consider it feeding the enemy without even having to die.
Her Model: Not exactly colorful, but the shading is good to the point that it's not monotone....or monochromatic...or something like that. The coloring is decent, and fits the tone of the character, being vengeful and enacting divine retribution and all.
Nice looking art assets. Don't know what's going on with the feather fire thingies on her shoulder, but at least they somewhat organic, instead of plastic like Mercury's (god, I keep trying to say Hermes) wings on his boots.
Her boobs (because comments section seems to like the subject): They aren't larger than her head, and are full covered. I don't see the problem.

Smite's nemesis seems to be an amalgamation of Dike (spirit of justice) and nemesis (goddess of revenge)

Make the Chinese God "Pangu" Supposably he was kind of normal but turned immortal and has the power to control summoned beasts. Have abilities based on them like: the Turtle, the Qilin, the Phoenix, and the Dragon.
Turtle defensive ability
Qilin a steroid that makes him faster and 1st hit stuns people
Phoenix a spitfire ability
Dragon some kind of nuke ult probably involving fire again
Or maybe he have a passive that lets him have a companion, each one bringing something different to the table.

john doe Hah thanks, I just take some World Cultures class and I loved the Chinese unit. I tried my hardest to think of my Chinese gods, this is just one I remembered and think would be amazing.
I'm not sure what Qilin would do all I know is that the beast is a fast-hard hitting type beast. So this was the best I could come up with.
***** League has been out for a while but not as long as the original DotA, and MANY MANY MANY of their heros are like the ones from DotA 2. So League fans can't make the "not original" claim when League itself is a direct remake of another game. "Literally all the principles are the same just mechanics are changed, mostly because they run on a different platform"
Respect the mode itself and be open to idea, this idea has 2 of 4 with udyr when I've seen 3/4 skills being the same with a LoL hero compared to DotA 2 heros.

It's not stupid, its a good question. Yes it does heal her when she takes damage. So decent Nemesis' could use this as a means of a cheap heal if done right. (Perfect example is when Ra places his sun beam down on the ground, I usually pop my shield and take a step or two in there to get some bonus hp back.) It doesn't last long, so its not like your gonna steal a shit ton, but it can definitely help you sustain in a fight.
