What I love about chaac is they made him look pretty much just like his statues. aside from the size of his axe, anyway, they got pretty generous there
Well, they had to make it seem capable of hitting other gods with force so...
Would be cool if Hi-Rez could add:
-Hawaiian/Polynesian gods
-Native Amerindians gods
-Greek heroes (Ajax, Ulysses, Achilles,etc.)
-Persian gods

I think it´s fine. The lore mentions him having a powerful Axe, so making him a mage would be weird.

Maybe because it's common knowledge that alot of people hate Chang'e due to her almost infinite sustainability and the fact she can literally roll her face and win?

Ever since I heard of chaac he has been my favorite god of any pantheon he's basically Thor with a Axe which is way cooler than a hammer

I am from Turkey and studied some archaeology in college. There are actually several central Asian Shamanistic gods/spirits existed. They are really ancient. SMITE should look into it, considering there is considerable player base for LOL and DOTA, DOTA2 from Turkey. Just saying , if it's their selling point or something.
Just played Chaac for the first time, really fun god to play! I think i will make a video on how to play him once I get him mastered ;)

It'd be interesting to see a back-story, like how do all the cosmological concepts of the respective mythologies co-exist in the same world? it's not like there's a pantheon for each ethnic group of mythology, studying various mythology's from unified pantheon's to oral folklore, some of these Gods are Creator Gods and we're not told who is the creator of the universe or who is dominant or whatever, I heard of a hindu concept where there are billions of universes with their own respective Gods, maybe this is a Universe Crossover?

she died to many times here.
I played him quite a bit today and my goodness he is easy to play. He's able to buff his protections with his 2, and his one does a crapload more damage if you use his ax throw (which range is ridiculously huge.) The attack speed slow on his 3 also seems like a bit much.
his number 3 slow is necessary , otherwise he would be too easy to kill as a bruiser, by assassins ( wish goes against the meta game i guess) , since his damage output depends on abilities until the late game, however the long silence on his ult seems a bit harsh in team fights, its like having an araachne on each enemy if you manage to hit them all, wish with the range of his ult is not really that hard to do.
Carlos Macias The movement speed slow I can understand, tha as debuff just seems like a bit much. Also depending on your build his items can still have decent staying power late game.
