I can not tell you how CUTE this is!!! It's June 20th, 2024 in Ontario Canada right now and we're in the middle of a heat wave (26C, feels like 35C with humidity). AC is blasting and I needed to see this right now. I'll be painting this on the weekend. Thank you so so much Joni. I've copied a few of your paintings. Thank you for teaching me acrylic techniques ❤ I have a degree in fine arts from Memphis State University from the 70s and have forgotten all about acrylics. I prepared for a class at my church,which was yesterday . I encouraged others to paint what they wanted to paint! Love the ease you showed how simple it is to make those gorgeous snowflakes at the end. They always seem so hard but how you showed, I will have to try them. I got a clean bill of health on my left eye yesterday. The Dr said the lens is perfectly centered and all is great. He gave the go ahead for the surgery on the 7th on the right eye. YAY!!

Thank you so much for your videos. My son and I ended up making this painting yesterday and it was a good experience. We are not pros so I setup a utility light from the cieling and we took a large cardboard box and taped a white paper and then wax paper on top as a pallete. He is 7 and we both made our own version watching this video on the tv. I added a small santa sleigh like you had in another painting and being an engineer and normally very exact I just kept reminding myself its the big picture and not to worry, I told my son like when we do christmas lights we dont need all lights perfect because we see the whole thing and not focused too much on any one part. It came out great thanks again

Yes but because it’s a square, the proportions will change slightly
Is there a way to mix up the light blue violet color without buying it? I have cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, violet purple. Maybe a combo of those mixed with white??

50 is my largest I’m using and 0 is my smallest 😊
