nice fish, but yikes, pretty rough releases/throws onto the rocks in shallow water. I mean, you don't have to romance them, but maybe walk the fish out a few more feet and lowering it into the water instead of just tossing from waist-high into a couple inches of water onto the rocks? 🙏
Thank you for bringing us out with you Please take more care landing snd releasing those Bass. Those rocks are really bad for them. Remember just because they swim away does not mean they are okay! We all want them to grow big for another day. Thanks
I hit them good that day, but it was slower the next day too. There is a lot more seaweed now too, so gotta keep checking your bait. More will be coming in soon! See you around brother! Thank yiu for watching as always 😊💪🎣
What bait were you using? a suggestion to prevent reel and butt on rod from damage buy 6 foot PVC pipe 3 inch diameter and make your own spike for rocky areas. Where did the battle scars come from?
Used worms and clams. Thanks, I have the PVC tubes but didn't bring them with me that day 😊 I was trying to grab the keeper sized fish by the mouth but he kept fighting. Good to see that he was strong and healthy. All part of the fun 😁
Thank you for watching and your feedback! During early spring, soft baits like worms and clams tend to work well. As the bugger fish come in, you can use bunker or herring chunks also. Lures work good too once it warms up a tiny bit more.

Good question. I would Google search that. Thank you for watching 😊
What species of fish can you keep now in Jamaica bay??
Now, Tautog and Winter Flounder. As of 4/15 striped bass as well between 28-31"

protect hose reel at all cost
Thank you for watching and you are right 🙏😊
Where are the big fish?
The larger ones should be arriving soon in numbers
Just questioning the title, it's like saying big fire in a highrise but all it was someone left a lit match in an ash tray.
Doesn’t matter in New Jersey , you can’t keep anything over thirty one inches. The slot is 28 to 31 inches.
The meaning of this is that the bigger fish are arriving in compared to the smaller schoolies before 😊
@robertlosasso4222 the entire East coast I think
What state are you ?
We are in New York
@@RafSowiOutdoors ...what setup did you use ?
@stonefly2066 I used a fishfinder rig
@@RafSowiOutdoors ...thanks...what hook size ?
@stonefly2066 I used 6/0 circle hooks in this case
Nice fish, but nicer was you didn’t let none of your techniques. To be seen on the video. Stingy man.
Thank you! Haha...no fancy techniques here. Just timing, fresh bait, cast out and retrieve 😂🎣
