And I dare you to try moving heavy equipment through heavily forested area in the middle of a mountain range that goes up thousands of meters above the sea level without having access to the railways because someone blew up the only bridge leading into the area. In other words, even with modern tech, conquering Switzerland would be quite a pain in the ass even for someone like the US while countries like Russia would fail miserably.

Switzerlands military is virtually non existent, they built tunnels to hide in the event of an attack, there's literally 1000s of miles of tunnel with running water and food storage all over the country.
Switzerland might have been a problem back in the day but with the Air Force the way it is in technology the way it is mountains being in the way isn't really a problem
@@LaLaSadiistiic Air Force is worth shit if you can't put people on the ground though and that's going to be a fucking pain in Switzerland due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to difficult terrain, the fact that Switzerland has mandatory military service and once you finish your service you get to buy your service rifle and keep it at home, you just need to get ammo from a nearby military base meaning that the Swiss can quickly arm tens of thousands of already trained civilians and put them into service, and of course the fact that the Swiss have a plan to demolish quite a lot of their own infrastructure just in case they need to deny its use to the enemy. And I dare you to try moving heavy equipment through heavily forested area in the middle of a mountain range that goes up thousands of meters above the sea level without having access to the railways because someone blew up the only bridge leading into the area.
In other words, even with modern tech, conquering Switzerland would be quite a pain in the ass even for someone like the US while countries like Russia would fail miserably.
