I have never met anyone as besotted with Hollywood as I am ... until I saw your first video! Now I'm hooked so thank you for another adventure! Ausgezeichnet! 😀
What a strong word to use to explain that you are infatuated with Hollywood. There are hundreds, if not thousands of us, that are beyond enthusiastic with the love and history of such a beloved city. Thanks, GIV, for sharing your journey 😀
I grew up Lancaster CA 1978, my mom knew someone at Edward Air Force Base and we on base to see the space shuttle on the 747 ,do a take off and part from the 747 and land onthe dry lake bed. Best time of my life.
Love Anjelica Huston's movies and her talented husband was sculptor Robert Graham. Thanks for showing his Olympic sculptures. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
GIV! It touches me so that you love the U.S.! Your honesty and sincerity always makes me feel happy after I watch all of your videos! It is so cool that you include your friends from Germany and your sweet Momma in your videos whenever possible. Also, you keep it real when you do your videos. Take care and thanks for making the day brighter!!! 😁✌👍❤
Great ad hoc video! Both for the Denny’s memories and a wonderful museum, even the usual science/nature stuff & especially the space age with the actual Endeavor!
Love this Channel!!! I've shared his channel with all my coworkers and I'm planning a trip to beautiful Los Angeles with my 12 yr old Son!!! I wouldn't never wanna see so many places in LA if it wasn't for the G.I.V!!!!
I loved watching this video . My dad worked on that project and got to see the moon landing before he died in 1969, 5 months after the landing. It was exciting to watch!! Melaney from SoCal
You make me pay attention to all the good things we have here in America. Born & raised in the USA I've taken so much for granted but you've opened my eyes. Loved seeing the Endeavor. If it wasn't for you going out exploring I'd never known about some of the cool places you've shown us on your channel. Thanks GIV🌻😊
I saw the Discovery Shuttle in NYC on the Intrepid Battleship. I’m a life long NYer, and it was shocking to see how they got that gigantic shuttle onto that ship (they also have a Blackbird) - they look so much smaller in TV, lol. I enjoyed seeing the Discovery exhibit in person after it arrived. Thanks for showing us the Endeavor. Really cool to get to stand next to one of these amazing shuttles that were used for years! Glad you enjoyed Denny’s too!
Denny's is one of my favorite go to places when i am traveling.. I have been to Denny's along the entire Pacific coast from San Diego all thw way up to Vancouver Canada. I agree with you it is like coming to home when i go to a Denny's and they are open 24/7.
Thank you for showing the museum. I was really lucky to be able to not only watch the Endeavor fly into LAX but I only lived a block away from Crenshaw and was able to watch it being moved. That was the most amazing experience and I will treasure it forever. Just to think that was a piece of History and I could almost Reach Out And Touch It. I'm so sorry that you did not get to have that experience.
One of the things I like about you Mikey is your positivity, optimism and passion for what you do, making UA-cam videos for us all to watch. Space Shuttle Endeavour was an amazing spacecraft. Looking at it now sitting in a museum it’s hard to believe that it reached orbit once upon a time. Also, during the soviet era the Russians made a copy of the American Space Shuttle which was called Buran (Snowstorm). Unfortunately though, due to the political situation in the USSR during the early 1990s and the lack of funds the project was cancelled. 🚀 ☀️ ✨ 🌙
Mike, sometimes the most random, spur of the moment videos are some of the best videos! 👍👍For years, we have been pronouncing it "Den-Knees", but it is interesting to hear it call "Den-niss"! 😁😁
Great video Michael, If you had not put your hand on that poster of the new center I actually thought you were upstairs in that lol. In FL Denny's had a menu item called Moon Over my Hammy. A pun on the song Moon Over Miami. Guten tag alles.
Denny's has some of the best coffee around. I rank it right up there with McDonald's coffee. Denny's really disappointed me, however, when they took their awesome pot roast plate off of their menu.
The two statues at the LA Coliseum were done by Robert Graham and the male statues was of Terry Alan Schroeder a water polo player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, in the 1988 Summer Olympics, and in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Schroeder is a chiropractor, practicing in Agoura Hills, California.
Aww. You brought such lovely memories. Years ago I got a pet from Culver City. I hadn’t been there before and I lived near Wilshire. It seemed like it took forever to get there but now being used to freeways it wasn’t so far. I miss my Father-in-law in heaven and we would go to Denny’s if having a trip to Orange County. He loved a sandwich called a Super Bird. I would love an afternoon with him again.
i recently visited LA with my family, we also checed out the Endeavour. absolutely amazing, we were hoping to see you on the streets, but alas it was not meant to be, cheers
Thanks for sharing. I love the California Science Center. I remember the Endevor flying in and when it was bring put into at CSS when I was at USC. Thanks again.
I remember going to the Los Angeles Colosseum 1978 (with Mum n Dad) to see the Harlem Globetrotters …..meadowlark lemon, Geese Ausbie, Curly Neal, Sweet Lou Dunbar, twiggy Sanders, Jimmy black lock ,Marques Haynes …… Fab Memories

When you think the shuttle was a glider, and had few options if they miss-timed the landing. Great video 2x👍
