This video really inspired me to get out of ma bed and start doing sth actually beneficial at home these days!! I'm going to start this soon with the help from my husband (hope he wont ruin this one lol)!! I've prepared 3 different gray palettes, will try to mix n match em to get 6 different palettes. Thank you so much for the video. I really enjoy it. I hope I can achieve such an awesome result as yours soon!
I sincerely thank you for your words, it made me happy to be an ispiration! It's a very easy job, it looks harder than it looks, just be sure to have a firm hand for the outlines and put some tape on the corners, and the job is easily done! Feel free to share your result here or with a video of yours, I want to see it!
I love the highlight effect you get along the ridge lines. It's sort of like mist is coming up from the valleys. Did you do something special to accomplish that?
Thank you! What's amazing is that I just needed to paint the different shades of colours and I naturally obtained that effect you describe! It's some kind of optical illusion caused by the blending of colours I think. It's really simple, try it! And feel free to share the result if you do ;)
Thank you for this video! It's the best mural wall i have seen on UA-cam 😍 You are saying you have used the whole page of colours of just one colour - is that so? Because it looks like there's another colour used, third layer from the bottom looks different. Could you please tell how did you create the mist between mountains? Thank you again!
First of all thank you very much, I'm flattered! It's quite simple to do and you only have to choose a color palette you like and take 6-7 color of that palette! You can mix the color to make it darker or lighter but I prefered buying each separate paint for a better result! And fun fact, there is no mist! The "light" effect that comes from the borders is just an optical effect caused by the light of the room and the shading between colors! Let me know if you are going to try it, it's easy ;)
Thank you for the answer! To clarify, you chose 6-7 hues of paint which where "related" (as you showed on the picture - 1 line of colours from the darkest to the brightest), right? You haven't used other shades, have you? P.S. I am definitely going to try it , that's why I am being so thorough 👍😃
Feel free to share the result then! Yes, I choose a palette, the ones in the catalogs you can easily find in paint shops, and started from the darkest one up to the brightest, for a total of six colors (plus the white of the wall). In the description of the video there's a link of a page I used as a reference anyway!
It's all water based colors! I choosed a palette I liked and then had them crafted in a DIY store! 4 years later it's still there, no scratches or mold. Btw look in the description, I put a link of the reference I used!
It's 6 different shades of a greyish green! I selected a color palette I liked and asked a painter to mix paint to match that palette (6 color of it) + the white at the end. Look for the link in the description for a more detailed explanation! (not mine). If you plan on doing the same, be sure to start from the top! And feel free to share the result if you try it!
Hi! It is some kind of optical effect given by the different layers of colors! I did nothing more than just painting a layer as you saw in the video and then, the lighter layer above it had this kind of shaded effect but in the end it's just a flat color! This is why the final effect works very well with not such huge effort!
I did in the corners to avoid painting on the white walls! I prefered to go free hand on the edges between two colours because I wanted a "curvier" effect!
Thanks! They're all San Marco paint cans you can easily find around in Italy. The color palette is similar to the one you can find in the link down in the description! I don't remember the exact colors...
She is one of my dearest friends but that's it ,for real! I probably sounded a little bit too desperate about how long it would have taken to complete the painting so she offered to help!
@@adarshdubey5475 I strongly recommend it, it's easy and you only need to find the color palette you like more. Look for the description, there's a link that could help you 😉

Awesome and simple painting to do
Great job! Beautiful colour combination.
Thank you! I loved these colors because they covered the wall without being too aggressive to the eye!
Beautiful!

Let me know how it came out!
Super Amazing
Beautiful thanks for inspiring me to have a go and paint one of our walls at home :-)
Thanks to you! I'm happy to help, look in the description for more details!
My first video! God what a boring intro, skip to 0:47 for the mural 😅
Wow! Amazing
Thank you!

Ottima idea! Bravo :)
Grazie mille! È semplicissimo da realizzare, bisogna solo fare attenzione con i contorni e tutto il resto è riempimento!
Very nice! Cool!
Thank you! It's easy to do it, try it!
Is there a good reason to go bottom to top? When I think about the project it seems to make a lot of sense to try to go top to bottom
Definitely no good reason because I had to clean all the stains at the end 😅 in case you want to try it, start from the bottom!
@@lifewithmase you mean 'start from the top', right? Will do mine this week (already sketched the lines on the wall, no turning back now!)
Thank you for this video! It's the best mural wall i have seen on UA-cam 😍

Hello, what color did you use? I love those colors, if you can give me the names thx

Hi! Just wondering, how do you manage to do the misty effect above every layer?

just a suggestion. Maybe you could use painter's tape

@@lifewithmase Thanks!
What colors did you use for this?! Attempting it this week and love the color pallet!!

What kind of paint you've used?
Water paint, no acrylics!
