It is a true Blessing to Forgive someone that has harmed you. Forgiveness frees you from a mental prison and allows you to be free. God is a healer and restorer of our Souls. I find true healing when I read the Bible. My mund is being cleansed and restored and I can see things differently. People who abuse others were abused themselves and in turn become abusers. Healing takes time and you will know when are healing when you start to feel peaceful and start to let go of the trama. Tim Fletcher has excellent resources on UA-cam. I read my Bible and listen to Tim Fletcher counseling along with The Ministry of TD Jakes Creflo Dollar and GE Patterson on UA-cam. I hope this information was helpful for you.
He’s a good man. Not everyone has the capacity to self reflect on themselves like that. They simply act on emotion and stand by it for pride based reasons. He truly seems like someone who is searching for self growth and wants to be the best version of who he is. Love this.

Im very impressed and humbled by how far you've came despite of what was done to you as a child. Your life is inspiring in many ways and i can see goodness and strength in you that is really not that easy to find even in people with 'regular ' childhood. Your resiliency and compassion is amazing. I ve seen many interviews that you brought to us on your show, and your ability to open people up and bring the education to us in such an open and simple way is astonunding.
I have three boys age 7m to 3 years. Three beautiful, innocent, loving boys. They trust the world so much. How could anyone take advantage of that childern's innocence and light is beyond me. But it happens all the time. My heart is in pain and im so sorry for any child who went through this and i wish i could take the pain away from all the kids.
How could i protect my kids and prepare them to be knowing and ready, but without taking the innocence from their childhood. How can i be there for my boys in order to protect, it seems like from everyone, since these things happen even at the hand of people you expect the least.
Your story is powerful. Your words, weather in sharing your personal story or interviewing other people, are powerful. Please keep doing what you doing and bring the knowledge and conversation to us.

I was sexually abused when I was 15 years old. Now, I am under healing. A healing that is so difficult and hard. Sometimes I am up and often times I fall down. Hopefully, I can survive this by God's grace someday.

Well done for not allowing the childhood abuse to ruin your life and rising above it Lewis! Only very self-aware people are capable of doing that. It's so important for people to practice self-awareness and acknowledge negative and destructive impulses which we all have, but most people deny they have them, or make up ways to justify them. Seeing oneself clearly is the only way to truly let such impulses go.

I used to look at him and think he just must have grown up so privileged, what could he possibly know about struggle in life; I had no idea about his what his life was really about and what he had to overcome. Even though we know "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" we do it over and over again.....

I'm not trying to be negative but most CSA do not go this way, I wish it did, I'm 38 and I still haven't fully recovered, it's not as simple as forgiving yourself and others I've done that. Some people's minds are literally altered like chemicals and mental structure and thoughts at their deepest levels are forever changed trust me I'm one of those people. I am very intelligent and I know most everything with the mind and other things psychology and there are just things I cannot change within my mind and self, I feel like I healed it but then I realize not long later I have not over and over
