I'm going to have to show this video to my dad. I've been wanting a vanity mirror for my vanity for a long time now. But I wasn't up for paying 300 damn dollars for lights and a mirror 😩. Tyvm for this video. Very helpful. Hopefully he helps me out with it.

So do I have to get that exact mirror in shape? I was looking for a more horizontal rectangular type of mirror but I'm afraid it won't exactly with the lights. Love this by the way, such a huge help!

Hello can you tell me if it makes a difference what wires we connect to what wire of the extension cord?
I noticed I forgot to mention it sorry. Ridged side of the extension cord pairs with the white wire and the smooth side pairs with the black wire.!

How did you know which one was the positive and negative on the extension cord?
on the extension cord is doesn't matter you can use either side for the black and white wires.
Thats not true. You need to attach the white wire with the ruff side of extension cord wire and the black side with the smooth wire on the extension cord.

Yeah, all of the other videos show that you're supposed to connect them to a certain wire so id be careful. Not good to be sloppy with wiring! Major fire hazard!

dont the black wires go with the smooth side of the extension cord and the white goes with the rough side? i watched a ton of DIY mirrors like this and i love this one lmao this is just the only one i didnt see that specified😂😂
