I left Ravelry in 2019 after the debacle as you called it. I stayed off until I caved about a year ago and went back on for the patterns. I rarely participate in any groups but I do like when people post info about what they’ve made.
Chips’ sweater is beautiful! That would be such a pretty people sweater too! Thank you for posting - I always look forward to your videos. And congratulations on surpassing 200 subscriptions!
Congratulations on 200+ subscribers! 🎉 I use R- to keep track of my stash, patterns and projects. I don’t care for the drama but I haven’t found an alternative that is so highly functional as a database. Knit & Note is an alternative that allows you to share project photos and notes, but I don’t think it is as easy to link to. It also isn’t very searchable.

@@EileenK64 this is exactly what happened with me. I try not to use it if I can help it, but it has a lot of patterns. I’ve been known to look at the patterns on R and buy them somewhere else🤪.
I use Rav to track my projects and stash. I discovered that it is easier, for me, to transfer pictures of my WIPs and FOs to other sites from my projects pages. I am a part of a Star Trek themed group that avoids politics and current events, mostly, and it acts as a monthly muse for project ideas and a strong encourager for finishing. I avoid R-induced blood pressure issues, WINK WINK, by setting a browser bookmark to my projects page.
The Tin Man's HEART is red. *wink* For Rav - do what YOU are comfortable with. I make notes on a few patterns - if I think about it. I don't stress over it, don't have any groups, don't participate in any forums, etc. I just don't have time. I'm sure you have gobs more time than I do, though. 🤣
Wow! Thanks for the shout out! Congrats on 204! I’ve become your friend on R and I think I asked you a question about one of your projects. I forget to go there too! lol Very nice tour of your house. Love the 25 stockings string - soooo cute. I’m crocheting ornaments- such fun. Oh why are the sox called Kirby Wirby is that the pattern name. That Psalm book is beautiful - enjoy reading those. ❤❤❤ Oh and I LOVE Chip’s sweater. ❤
I left “R” after they called me a xxxxist because I voted for Trump. So, I wouldn’t go there to look for your project information, but that’s just my choice/opinion. I know lots of people still use it. I love all your Christmas decor. I have a lot of my grandmother’s ceramic Santas, and a nativity of hers, as well. I enjoy unpacking them and the memories behind them.
Congratulations!!!🎉🎊

Love the Psalms book! How blessed you are to be able to pray at meetings.
