yeah the multiverse sounds fun in comic books but IRL it would mean literally ANYTHING could happen you could be takin a nap and godzilla himself just walks by your window.
i think at some point it'd become so normal that your every day conversations would be like "godzilla walked down my neighborhood again, y'know the typical thursday afternoon" 😂😂
@@iijel0e the zombie neighbor grunts knowingly, and goes on to call the time police for violating their spacial policies and failing to prevent time from looping in their backyard.
I rather like the theory the 2nd universe isn't Evil so much as Corrupted by the first universe and tried to warn us, but cant help sounding creepy by accident.
One thing about PU1 and the original Earth i think is cool is the use of both the Hello World quote and the WOW signal. I like to think thats an implication that its our world reaching out.
i remember watching the whole series for the first time, it genuinely sent shivers down my spine, absolutely deserves to be one of the greats of analog horror
got another analog horror for you: The Alvearium logs by holowalls. this one is not very well known but it genuinely spooked me and deserves more recognition
I have an idea! A analog/digital horror series where you don't know if it's propaganda or real. Can take place in DC where lex Luther spreads lies about superheroes, or he's warning people about their dangers. It could never truly be known if president lex is being serious or he's trying to discredit the heros, as it could be a message about how in this age, you can never tell if the truth is real or not. That we cant trust anyone anymore due to multiple reasons
thats close to real life. we already live in a world where the mainstream media always has agendas and broadcasts twisted narratives based on their political view. with AI technology emerging itll be even worse..
I haven't really seen this idea explored in an analog horror before, but it's done really well! Btw, may I recommend the channel MARE IGNIS? It's not exactly analog horror, but the series has analog horror elements that are done really well, especially with the actual story. ^^
Im so glad that someone else is covering this, ive seen maybe 1 analog horror creator cover this series which is a damn shame for how outstanding it is
Stuff like this scares the hell out of me. Godzilla and the FNAF AH are cool, but too far removed from reality. The thought of seeing that evacuation notice on my TV, or watching Local 58 is something I find myself thinking about constantly. Really hope you cover series 2 of this!
This feels like a mix of Lovecraft's From Beyond with the Tear dimension system from Bioshock Infinite. Albeit with more 1950s scifi technology, but set in the 80s. Honestly, pretty neat. And finally, a series that has something a little different up its sleeve with the communication of different worlds.
I think a cool horror idea is a pretty messed up world, but humanity just strolls by like Vita Carnis, but less killing humans and cosmic themes and more just ravenous creatures with animal instincts, and we follow prespectives of people just living their normal life.
I think that the fact that this probably happened around the 1980’s is kinda resembling the internet at the time was established and how now it’s like a dark forest is in our world.
It kinda makes me think that while as strange as it is the bermuda triangle aswell as any other phenomenina on earth that has a strange vibe around it arent just strange but rather our universe has these strange areas as a form of protection rather than danger sort of a lock what if those locks become undone? This is what might play out or perhaps it just relocked itself albeit soemthing still got in.
i would love to start enjoying analog horror again but as much as there's cool concepts going on, they all just turn into nihilistic drivel each time. If there's no outcome in which humanity has a chance then what is the actual story? Might as well just watch a movie of pompei on repeat. I was thinking for a while there was a few like that, but even they keep going "hah! twist! turns out humanity was doing exactly what the evil entity wanted all along!", what sucks is it appears they're about to do that with vita carnis too. I'm not begging for some "humanity wins, because they never gave up hope!" bullshit. but if humanity never has a single win what is literally the point of watching it. a cool visual is worthless if it's just "here's another thing that just exterminates life in a million mile radius within a milisecond! that's now sixty six of them! fascinating!" Not to mention basically none of these ever explain "if the humanity-destroying monstrosities exist and there's no way to stop them. how is there 'found footage' to show off and who is watching it?"
Fun Fact: Local-58 was the very First video to introduce Analog Horror back in 2017. which is by far how years pass to 2024 we have gotten more and more Analog Horror from the First Second video was

Who is to say that couldn't happen, now? We're already in the multiverse, bruh. Just a very very stable part of it.
Or incomprihensible horrors beyond this realm
I just fear that when I shower, Majima is gonna come crashing through my window.
Analog horror: across the analogverse
Analog horror: into the analogverse
Analog horror:behold the analogveres
Analog horror: the analverse tapes😏
Analog horror: beyond the analogverse
U jest, but once/if this style catches on, watch this be EXACTLY what it's called!
😂
Man started as a movie review channel and became an analog horror channel and I am ALL for it
I think he still does movies reviews
I rather like the theory the 2nd universe isn't Evil so much as Corrupted by the first universe and tried to warn us, but cant help sounding creepy by accident.
I have another, but it was aliens that corrupted the second universe, and they were connecting to say “we need help” and aliens were still on the planet
I want an Analog Horror where the story follows prime Mike Tyson beating the absolute shit out of anomalous beings.
That some SCP foundation shit right there
YES
Lmao a kinda creative analog horror shitpost or parody.
Like Mike Tyson Mysteries but with actual monsters.
