The Bible says in Psalms and Proverbs to "Make a joyful noise" and that a "joyful heart is good like medicine." Laughter is just that! It's a joyful noise and helps create a joyful heart. I praise God for those who bring laughter to Christians in His name!
Jake Hess has the greatest smile I've ever seen. Total joy for God.
I went to church with Jake and Joyce for a few years, and he had that same smile most all the time. Such a kind and genuine person no matter where you saw him.
Rex Nelon and George Younce? That's more bass singing than any video deserves

These guys showed me the beauty and joy of walking with Jesus. Been so religious, guarding "do's and don't" - joy stealers.
This video was 1 of 14 I was able to be on. All these videos are set up to be taped over a period of 2-3 days. Some of this is actually spur of the moment, but not often. Bill and Tim had this loosely worked out before the taping. The song was shot right after lunch, which is typical, as these days can go 12-14 hrs in a day. Bill used these to get the energy flowing again so we didnt act like we were tired. As for Bill being mad, he wasn't. All for show.

@@TMPreRaff I love seeing people in general too, but unfortunately Christians have a habit of being too serious or even squabbling with each other like kids. This is also good clean fun that many non-Christians don't do and think isn't fun. 🤷♀️

This is one of the best Gaither videos. I miss these old videos & gatherings where everyone sang together with just the piano. Noone necessarily stood out. With such accomplished artists, anybody could have sung this song but Lovelace is the only one who could pull the comedy off, Tim is not only a singer but an entertainer. It was not lost on the fraternity that this man parodies the act. And, as for the listener, we can only marvel at this accomplishment

These men are hilarious....just what we need to lift our spirits. I was so stressed until I started wztching Gaithers! I reacquainted my old self with the me who was saved at 13 and baptized. My mother was such a good christian, and never stressed about thee little tni gs!! I`m in a nursing home and paralyzed on one side. Then I remembered this old body will be changed into something glorious. Hallelujah and thankyou Jesus!

Great laugh. Almost shed tears to see 2, basses, possibly the best, at blending and harmony, singing together. Mr. Rex, and Mr. George. Both among my top 10 favorites. I have pretty much quit trying to rank basses, 1 to 10. Each is a little different, from every body else.

I love this so very much. I have such great memories being able to take a copy to my Dad's and sharing this with him. My dad was already very familiar with Tim Lovelace's wonderful work. I knew all the others but not Tim. Dad and I and a few others who dropped by to see him, we had a great time over this song that day. A very precious memory for me.

Little Willie Wynn was my hero growing up. I saw him when he sang with the Oak Ridge Boys at the all night gospel singing, in the old municipal auditorium in Atlanta. I met him once at a different location at an all day singing. It's good to see him on here.

I've been brought up hearing the father's all my life, and I'm thankful he started these videos, it's uplifting, and I love laughter through tears. You don't have to drink to have fun and they proved it in these videos. I wish I could sit down and talk to them.

My favourite line from this.
One time the praise team from my church was doing a really complicated song with like 5 verses (we eventually got it and still sing it occasionally) But while everyone was confused and trying to figure their parts out, I just grabbed my mic and quoted that line.
