It's not just a nostalgic feeling I get when watching seasons 1-5, it really is the passion of the people making it knowing it will be the best show ever created
You see, for the best episode of the model era (imo) it is indeed rather morbid, but that's what makes it a good episode. You have much to question, like if the mine reopened, if the trucks survived at all. What No one ever thinks about though are Percy's Crew. It's hard to believe they survived. Being trapped under a tarp, whist a steam engine was fully steamed? Well, it spells itself out. But, The darker themed episodes were always the good ones lol
The whole of season 5 was very dark and spooky, especially haunted henry, Stepney gets lost, Toby and the flood and so on. It almost had a halloween like atmosphere to it. It was a weird time for tv series, which main target groop where children. The teletubbies had some unsettling episodes aswell, namely lion and bear, but Thomas never was disturbing in any way, but had a great atmosphere.
Considering that when I worked on a steam train we had to take full blown tunnels at a slower pace at less than a full head of steam I'd say they SHOULD have been bad. I've been standing four cars back from the engine entering a tunnel before and the heat will still make you step back.
Season 5 has a lot of crashes where realistically the crew has little to no chance of surviving or having minimal injury like this episode, better view for gordon, horrid lorry, something in the air and snow
It is one of the rare times where the bad events have very damaging impacts on things and beings. We are never told whether anyone was injured or killed in the mine when it collapsed or if the trucks survived. That could have possibly been the end for Percy and his crew.
Put Upon Percy was always a favorite episode from Season 5, both for it's more mature tone, and for David Mitton's awesome model work. You could tell he basically used Season 5 as a way to use a lot of the pyrotechnic techniques he used on Tugs
David Mitton started his TV career as a special effects technician on Gerry Anderson shows including Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet, so it is easy to see why Season 5 was essentially Thomas & Friends' tribute to its sister-show TUGS.
@@RailRocketRicky It's certainly very clear to see that David Mitton improved Thomas & Friends' production after Tugs once you go from Season 2 to Season 3. Seasons 3 was the first season to use working water sets, lower more realistic camera angles, and more scenes obstructing the faces. This was probably also because by the time of Season 3's production, Thomas' production had moved to Shepperton Studios, the very same studio Tugs was filmed in. This gave the show a much bigger room to build sets, and use the very same camera system as they did on Tugs. Seasons 3-5 really felt like a true love letter to both railways and The Railway Series, even if Awdry was disappointed with Season 3 as they began to write their own stories (*cough* *cough* Henry's Forest *cough* *cough*). But I'm sure if they had a slightly larger budget during Season 3, just maybe, they would've adapted Super Rescue, and if they slightly upscaled the models, the Arlesdale and perhaps even The Culdee Fell Mountain Railway. I can see why neither was adapted during any of the model series, as to even create scale of the Arlesdale engines with the Gauge 1 00 Standard Gauge and O Scale Narrow Gauge, they would've had to make working Z scale engines, which would've been damn impossible. They had enough trouble with the cumbersome Skarloey and Mid-Sodor Railway engines during Season 4 enough to upscale them for the very next season. Imagine working with models even SMALLER than that. Yeah, that's why we wouldn't see them until the CGI series. And we didn't ever see the Culdee Fell Mountain Railway in any incarnation, especially in any model form, because again creating really accurate O Scale Mountain Railway engines would've also been damn impossible. The chassis and body shell wouldn't have been too hard, but for the model makers to kitbash tilted cylinders and Swiss valve gear would've been impossible at that scale. Now that raises the question as to why they didn't just introduce them in CGI. But for Super Rescue, that too could've been adapted in ANY of the eras beginning in Season 2, even without having D199/Spam Can, 7101/Bear, and Flying Scotsman. Heck, replace Scotsman, D199 and 7101 with Diesel, Duck and Daisy, or hell use City of Truro, D261 and Derek. Those three really only appeared once as characters, so why have their models just sit on the prop shelf?
David Mitton was requested by Britt Allcroft to show off his modelling skills to showcase the kind of cinematic action that would be in the upcoming feature-length movie, Thomas And The Magic Railroad. This is what made David Mitton really push his talent to the limits with amazing crashes and explosions.
Just another good reason why season 5 was perfect for having badass stories, I am super happy that it was my introduction to the series, everything afterwards felt like the series got neutered.
I also found this episode rather morbid just for the fact that we technically see troublesome trucks, well, die to put it bluntly. They didn't even seem fazed when they hit the support beam in the underground mine, and we never see them ever again. Leads me to wonder if there's a dedicated graveyard for troublesome trucks, or even a PETA organization that demand that "troublesome trucks are characters too".
STAN. SEASON. FIVE. This, Toby & the Flood, Rusty & the Boulder, James & the Trouble with Trees and all the spooky themed eps are not only some of the best episodes of the season but some of the best episodes of the entire series. I feel like a broken record saying this but season 5 was easily Thomas' most mature time on television. Can't wait to see your thoughts on some of the other episodes from in as well as the other classic episodes in different seasons!
I've lately been watching a fair few movie reviews lately, and it's interesting to see when a childrens show is disected in a similar fashion. I guess to quote Lewis, “A children's story that can only be enjoyed by children isn't a good children's story in the slightest."
You did a very good analysis about this episode and I can most certainly agree on many of the things you said about it. For me, this is another absolute favorite episode of mine from my favorite season of the show. Not only was it relatable (for any middle or high schooler going through a similar phase), but also for the action in true David Mitton fashion (the explosions, the industrial sets, the tone of the story during the avalanche scene, etc). This is also what I can call Percy's best moments in the series. He started off as a young cheeky yet timed engine up to the point overtime where he fully develops into a brave and determined character (to which it also applies w/ Tale of the Brave). The remainder of the show really overflanderized him too much as the newer seasons got younger overtime. And since Percy was Britt Allcroft, David Mitton and Mike O'Donnell's favorite character, I think it's no secret that he got the most screen time in S2 and S5 where he has been through every kind of situation (no matter crazy or suspenseful). The avalanche scene is one of those life or death situations that is heart pounding making everyone wondering if Percy's going to make it or not, until he came up with the idea of the canvas barrier to save them, which they did before the rockslide came tumbling down and burying them alive. I also like the scene where the miners and foreman were oblivious of what was happening because they made it out in time, and couldn't see what was going on. It really goes to show how much it reflects many people whenever a natural disaster occurs. And of course, in terms of narration, Alec Baldwin really knocked it out of the part here. Overall, this along with several others like Trouble With Trees, Rusty & the Boulder, Toby & the Flood, Cranky Bugs, etc truly have a lot of a cinematic feel, especially since S5 has a sorta token-movie feel. Too bad newer parents and executive companies like Mattel will never understand the course and simplicity that not every kids show can have a go free happy day. If they actually check out a few other Classic shows and movies from the 80s and 90s, then they would've possibly understand that the intense situations the characters go through are relatable to what they have been through.
Yeah I remember watching those both on PBS kids although they were the CGI references when I watched them but I still prefer the classic series but the one thing I can say is at least we can watch the classic series on VHS or dvd
Glad to see this episode and overall this season some attention! People don’t often look to season 5 and later for the “best” episodes, which is a shame since there are some great gems here! Definitely a diamond in the rough.
The montage of Percy collecting trucks to take to the docks is absolute visual candy. I love the industrial feel of the episode. Not to mention, there really aren't any words good enough to describe the chaos at the mine. This was a really enjoyable and informative watch, really hope you end up covering other episodes in the future!
Absolutely agree with you there. It was a very threatening atmosphere, when he shunted the trucks, I don’t know why, but you knew something would happen. The whole of season 5 was great. Haunted Henry had some great moments aswell.
One of Baldwin's best narrations on the show for the yard manager shouting at them to get out because of the mind collapsing and Percy shouting help as he backs away
This is definitely an episode I would probably put on my top 20 video now! I think it shows Season 5 Percy at his best and how much he’s evolved as a character!
It really is a shame we'll never see an episode like this one again (especially with how the show is currently being handled), but I guess that makes Put Upon Percy all the more special.
Reminds me of an episode of Fraggle Rock where two of the fraggles get trapped behind a boulder and start coming to terms that the air is running out and they could die. They actually have a conversation about death, actually saying the words "death" and "die" in a serious manner, practically unheard of children's entertainment. In a later episode I think you actually see a character peacefully die on screen... it was a very powerful episode.
Put Upon Percy was my favourite Thomas episode as a kid and is still near the top of the list today! Such a classic scene of the mine exploding and Percy being trapped beneath the avalanche and I’d often recreate that scene with my TOMY Percy…and no, my TOMY Percy didn’t last long after that. XD
Put upon Percy always stuck out to me just like the rest of Series 5, but this description basically sums up most of why it sticks out to me. And I think the fact that we’ll never get action or realism like this ever again is why it’s so memorable. It’s a shame honestly because so many people seem to disregard the realism in Thomas and just pass it off as a kids show about talking trains. It’s like they never watched Series 2, 4 or 5.
@sex the elmo I agree, and for someone to say they shouldn't associate realism with Thomas just don't know Thomas one bit. It's such a shame these days everything's limited to mandates, toy sales and something must appear in a show so it can then be sold as a toy.
Another thing to understand is how this sense of insurgency in a Thomas episode Mirrors a lot of elements from its sister show “TUGS.” I can almost imagine the TUGS danger theme. I can also see how maybe David Mitton could have had some fun directing this episode.
To this day my mom and dad reference this episode by name when saying they're feeling like "Put Upon Percy". It's weird just how memorable this episode is and I love it.
Season 5 gives me life. It also makes me glad that I'm not an anthropomorphic engine because I'd just suffer lol PLEASE do Rusty and the Boulder. It's the absolute best and always will be for me
I watched a fair amount of this show when I was a kid but I can't really remember much detail: one of the engines kicking its snow guard, fish in the boiler, and last "I feel put upon."
The episode was good, I was born 2 years after season 5 (2000) but before season 6. Percy has had some pretty bad to meh episodes but also some pretty good episodes like this one. What we appreciate is that the fat controller understood the situation and how brave Percy was despite the danger he was in, and yeah we never truely got another episode like it but it what makes some episodes more memorable when looking back at it. I would also say Percy’s chocolate crunch from S6 is a pretty good Percy episode, it shows Percy working hard and yeah Percy might’ve complained a bit too much about wanting to be clean but he worked through his struggles and got rewarded for his hard work by the fat controller who understood how much work Percy had done despite the accident. Oh and the other engines tease him about his predicament. Overall, this episode showed that if they get it right it can be a memorable episode
When I first saw this episode on the Races, Rescues and Runaways video, it was truly a blast. My personal favorite part was the line of trucks careening down the mine until they suddenly hit the support beam, causing the mine to collapse, and the intensity builds up to a scary avalanche scene. My 5 year old self was rockin hard to this episode! Truly kickass!
Holy shit this awakened a core memory, I used to have a "Dirty Percy" train figure in my Thomas playset as a kid, it was weirdly the ONLY one I had that was a "special" variant of any engine.
I remember watching this episode for the first time when I was little and loving the hell out of it. Then 5 minutes later I forgot it existed because I was 6. Then I found it again and remembered it this time. Now all the memories are coming back so thx
In all honesty this is in my top 5. I’ve loved this episode since quite a young age. And it’s such a memorable one for what you said. Great to see someone else likes this episode tho!
Even thought S.C.Ruffey died in the RWS version of "Toad stands by," I'd like to think that the events of Put upon Percy of how S.C.Ruffey really met his demise in my head cannon
Not only is this episode really, REALLY good...it has some of my FAVORITE cinematography. That shot the track crumbling, and Percy trying to ascend up that steep slope is perfect.
As a kid this was one of my favorite episodes, not one i would immediately recall by name but one when watching the show again as an adult for nostalgia, this one was one of my favorites and brought back some of my favorite memories of the show. I can relate a lot to this video man, season 5 was the best LOL
One of the many attributes of the RWS-TVS (seasons 1-5, and TATMR) is that it started off as something for kids, and then evolved into something that could be enjoy by a general audience. AEG has no hope of capturing any crowd to spawn a fan base around it, if they keep up with what isn’t, and will never work; poor quality, severe lack of brain power, and lousy story telling. Plus any self-respecting parent (who loves their children, as well as what they intentionally instill in their minds) who is completely aware of the model series and it’s charm well without a shadow of a doubt show this to their children over AEG.
Honestly any episode from the golden age of the classic series is gonna be a good time, even if they are weak ones like Thomas and the guard, better late than never, Percy’s and James fruitful day. Keep these up for a while.
This was definetly a memorable one. Besides the ending climax, for some reason I like montages of Percy gathering freights, especially the steel beams.
My favorite episode are those who explain Duke's story. When I was a kid, I was horrified of this story. At least later it had a happy ending. It was so sad to see the mines get closed, people get fired and engines being moved away. They left Duke for dead for like some years (because of the landslides and the nature that grew around it). This one is also more dramatic but not on the same level imo because he isn't left for years.
I was lucky enough to get a literal dvd called races rescues and runaways which is already a win for this episode. And I was also very lucky to see the episode on the dvd. I didn’t understand what this episode was about. I literally thought it was a episode that nobody cared about. Now that I go back and look at this episode, I enjoy it more than expected. And yes percy is my favorite character in Thomas and friends. (Cough cough season 7-s16 and 22-26 percy)
I noticed the "races rescues and runaways" and "spills and chills" VHS/DVDs being very over the top and dark (in a good memorable way ofc) keep in mind those two included episodes like this, stepney gets lost, haunted henry, bye George, Duncan gets spooked, rusty and the Boulder etc easily my two favorite vhs/dvds
I have the basic passing knowledge of Thomas the Tank Engine so seeing this video and comment section commending a children's show for showing a sentient train get buried alive shakes me to my core.
Personally I think it’s not the action people commend since as a whole it’s pretty heavy tbh; more it’s the idea and how they handled it well despite that in my case 😬
@@ZekromAndYugiAndDrago123 Agreed 1000%. Also let me apologize for this being what adds to the passing knowledge you had of the show already it’s probably a bit of a mess on top of that 🤣
Loved this episode (and the whole Races, Rescues, and Runaways VHS) growing up, but that shot of the ground crumbling under Percy as he backed away from the mine gave me nightmares for months...
This has yet given me another idea for my currently developing Thomas Cinematic Universe series’s as of this moment; Tales of Brighton (Seasons 1-9) would feature the fates of some of the trucks that were with S.C. Ruffey when they decided to torment Oliver. And so by the time of the events of Put Upon Percy a good number of them went with Percy and crashed into pieces in the mind after rolling away from him; thus their souls will never be able to leave the nether world they’ve just entered!
This episode terrified me as a kid. The suddenness of the crash, the blaring siren, slowly watching someone get buried. It was all GENUINELY unnerving, even today to an extent.
Watching the american version as a kid with Alec Baldwin narrating scared me so much it gave me nightmares, but now that I'm older I can really appreciate how great this episode is
Personally it was my favorite Season 5 episode as well growing up. Percy always got the best episodes it seems and this one always was a fun one. The story mixed with the trucks being silly (with the SCRuffey appearance) plus the avalanche made for an exciting story. Even with episodes like Rusty and the Boulder, Toby and the Flood, Haunted Henry, and Something in the Air, this episode was always the one that stood out to me. Great video! 👍
I love you train boy good to see you with a new vid I’ve been meaning to watch this the danger and horror we got from Season 5 I felt like was when Thomas showed it’s true colors and when it got really mature. Plus Baldwin’s narration makes everything all the better. (But unfortunately in Season 6 on all that stopped.)
As a kid most of my cassette were from seasons 1 and 4 but one day I was given a cassette from season 5. Bare in mind I had the British dub for my other cassettes so it surprised me when I got Baldwin’s voice for season 5 and to be honest I looooove his narration for season 5. Season 5 is edgy and Baldwin’s voice nailed that tone.
Speaking of trains and tunnel collapses, you should do a video on the Church Hill Tunnel Collapse in Richmond, Virginia and the locomotive trapped underneath.
What I think should also be worth pointing out about this episode, and a good chunk of the action episodes in classic Thomas on the whole, is that while they went out of their way to show characters in dangerous plights, they never executed them with disrespect to the characters concerned; they showed them in realistic plights but always had them recovered with a lesson being learnt from their trial that remains consistent with them (at least as far as the classic series lasted). This is also quite in contrast with the "All Engines Go" take, where the engines go through Tex Avery-like cartoon plights and very little is consistent with what had been established before. There is undoubtedly a disorderly atmosphere in Mattel's grasp of the franchise; the poor condition of the models at Drayton Manor is yet another indication of how disorderly it has become. By extension this goes back to when Hit Entertainment controlled the franchise before Mattel bought it out; Hit did not bother to dwell over the issues they had as much as the successes, and Mattel basically inherited the situation without a clear idea as to how to correct the less obvious issues. Hiring Andrew Brenner in the event only proved a limiting solution. I do have a big plan to resolve the issue, but it’s taken time to fully figure out how to go about it; unlike Mattel, I did not want to take any chances to ensure the result is worth it. Watch this space. Regards, Samuel Farris.
Thomas: “I remember when Percy had some trouble at the quarry. The Trucks were being silly and he push them too hard into the mine. The crash started a landslide, and Percy was buried underneath the rocks. But luckily, he was soon rescued!” :D (Railway Adventures is an Amazing Game!)
Funny enough, when I was a kid I remember having about 3 or 4 SC Ruffys and I'd usually use those as Troublesome Trucks cause I only had 2 actual Troublesome Trucks.
An episode from Season 5 that was my favorite has to be Something in the Air. I don’t know something about that particular episode just really stuck with me my whole life.
I must have had a weird compilation tape of disaster based Thomas episodes because I distinctly remember this, Toby and the flood, and Thomas and the jet engine among several others
Awesome video would love to see more like it. Whilst Put Upon Percy is an amazing episode season 5 has so many great episodes, I would really struggle to pick a definitive one, but Put Upon Percy would definitely be in competition.
season 5 for me when i was a kid in the UK was the most action packed of the whole series with 'Toby and the Flood' being my fav in the season but i like all episodes in season 5 even as an adult to see how well the episodes were done
around 2:59 at the end of the trucks, Its hard but you can kind of see a chassis pushing the trucks and it looks to have side rods too. i never notice that until now. nice👍

It also makes me glad that I'm not an anthropomorphic engine because I'd just suffer lol
PLEASE do Rusty and the Boulder. It's the absolute best and always will be for me
Please keep talking about the model series, season 5 had so many amazing episodes that stick with me to this day so many years later.
I watched a fair amount of this show when I was a kid but I can't really remember much detail: one of the engines kicking its snow guard, fish in the boiler, and last "I feel put upon."
7:10
Fergus:do It right!
Just watching the Troublesome Trucks fly between the lamps in the mine is just... terrifying.... for some reason
"The avalanche has buried an engine and its crew, TIME to go home"
I didn't get to see the video when it came out but I finally can
Holy shit this awakened a core memory, I used to have a "Dirty Percy" train figure in my Thomas playset as a kid, it was weirdly the ONLY one I had that was a "special" variant of any engine.
I remember watching this episode for the first time when I was little and loving the hell out of it. Then 5 minutes later I forgot it existed because I was 6. Then I found it again and remembered it this time. Now all the memories are coming back so thx
Glad it was reuploaded man would’ve been sad to miss this gem
Somebody needs to make a CGI version of this
In all honesty this is in my top 5. I’ve loved this episode since quite a young age. And it’s such a memorable one for what you said. Great to see someone else likes this episode tho!
I wouldn't mind seeing you review more episodes in a format similar to this. It'd be nice to see more of these. ^^
I used to watch the DVD for this dozens of times in a row. Put Upon Percy has all the excitement to entertain for hours.
Even thought S.C.Ruffey died in the RWS version of "Toad stands by," I'd like to think that the events of Put upon Percy of how S.C.Ruffey really met his demise in my head cannon
I remember my babysitter thought Percy died and didn't give a crap, but knowing what happened in the episode I just ignored her.
Not only is this episode really, REALLY good...it has some of my FAVORITE cinematography. That shot the track crumbling, and Percy trying to ascend up that steep slope is perfect.
Percy wanted to take after Oliver, so he destroyed Scruffy for him.
Even though I was born during the animation part of the series I watched seasons 1-7 more than I ever watched the animated series
I like the theory that theres more than one sc ruffy wagons running around
It's hard for me to pick favorites of well pretty much anything...
but this episode, I can say without a doubt is my favorite!!
Plus any self-respecting parent (who loves their children, as well as what they intentionally instill in their minds) who is completely aware of the model series and it’s charm well without a shadow of a doubt show this to their children over AEG.
what is aeg
@indeepj | AEG aka all engines go is the new “Thomas” reboot. Investigate at your own risk, viewer discretion is advised.
oh the youtube kids version for 3-, got it
Honestly any episode from the golden age of the classic series is gonna be a good time, even if they are weak ones like Thomas and the guard, better late than never, Percy’s and James fruitful day.
Put Upon Percy always scared me a little, due to the siren blaring, the big explosion and Percy getting buried alive. 😱
Not gonna lie I thought Percy was going to die at the end when I was a kid.
Put Upon Percy is such an epic episode and one of Season 5's best!
My favorite episode by far is the one with cranky the crane and the storm that knocks him over…. Please do a video about it
I was lucky enough to get a literal dvd called races rescues and runaways which is already a win for this episode.
Let's hope Mattel doesn't take this down.
If we can watch all of Thomas and Friends on UA-cam, I think they’ll b fine.
This is what we need more of in the Thomas fandom. People making well made, well thought through discussions of why they love this show.
The image of the trucks speeding through that dark mine is forever ingrained in my mind
That moment when train boy does a video on your favorite episode
I have the basic passing knowledge of Thomas the Tank Engine so seeing this video and comment section commending a children's show for showing a sentient train get buried alive shakes me to my core.
Personally I think it’s not the action people commend since as a whole it’s pretty heavy tbh; more it’s the idea and how they handled it well despite that in my case 😬
@@ItsTrainBoy fair enough, even I have to respect the decision to leave Percy's fate ambiguous, it's just shocking
@@ZekromAndYugiAndDrago123 Agreed 1000%. Also let me apologize for this being what adds to the passing knowledge you had of the show already it’s probably a bit of a mess on top of that 🤣
I remember this episode from my childhood. No doubt. Scary, and fantastic.
Loved this episode (and the whole Races, Rescues, and Runaways VHS) growing up, but that shot of the ground crumbling under Percy as he backed away from the mine gave me nightmares for months...
Poor Percy. He constantly finds himself in the wrong place at the right time.
This has yet given me another idea for my currently developing Thomas Cinematic Universe series’s as of this moment;
Tales of Brighton (Seasons 1-9) would feature the fates of some of the trucks that were with S.C. Ruffey when they decided to torment Oliver. And so by the time of the events of Put Upon Percy a good number of them went with Percy and crashed into pieces in the mind after rolling away from him; thus their souls will never be able to leave the nether world they’ve just entered!
This episode amd Toby and the Flood are my two favorites from growing up.
If only the CGI series have these kinds of episodes, regardless of younger audiences. They have to learn to deal with serious stuff to learn.
I’ve only seen the (model) show once or twice in my childhood. I have no idea why this was in my recommended, but it was fun. I enjoyed this.
This episode terrified me as a kid. The suddenness of the crash, the blaring siren, slowly watching someone get buried. It was all GENUINELY unnerving, even today to an extent.
This episode scared me as a kid.
Watching the american version as a kid with Alec Baldwin narrating scared me so much it gave me nightmares, but now that I'm older I can really appreciate how great this episode is
Best episode from best season ever. 'Nuff said.
If you do bring back "The True Story Of...", you should do Henry's Sneeze
Glad this episode is getting some love, defiantly my favourite
As someone who's favourite character is Percy (Though shared with Henry as i can't decide); i makes me happy to know that you like really him too. 🥰
Scaredy Engines, Percy & The Haunted Mine and Jack Frost
Personally it was my favorite Season 5 episode as well growing up. Percy always got the best episodes it seems and this one always was a fun one. The story mixed with the trucks being silly (with the SCRuffey appearance) plus the avalanche made for an exciting story. Even with episodes like Rusty and the Boulder, Toby and the Flood, Haunted Henry, and Something in the Air, this episode was always the one that stood out to me. Great video! 👍
I remember seeing Put upon Percy when I was younger and was traumatized...
Season 5 is great. Man how great the first five seasons actually are.
Iconic. But as a kid I remember the episode that worried me the most was Toby and the Flood
3:07: I swear every truck must be suicidal or something.
I wouldn’t say "suicidal," per se, but lacking any sense of self-preservation.
Season 5 was pretty epic, and this episode was damn awesome!
ya know, this was probably *the* most fun series to be a creator for. Imagine your JOB is to create model scenes with trains?
Thomas: “I remember when Percy had some trouble at the quarry. The Trucks were being silly and he push them too hard into the mine. The crash started a landslide, and Percy was buried underneath the rocks. But luckily, he was soon rescued!” :D
(Railway Adventures is an Amazing Game!)
This episode definitely made me fear for Percy's life because I honestly wasn't sure what would happen to him
Toby and the Flood is a very close second
season 5 for me when i was a kid in the UK was the most action packed of the whole series with 'Toby and the Flood' being my fav in the season but i like all episodes in season 5 even as an adult to see how well the episodes were done
I LOVE THIS EPISODE
I'd love to hear you talk about Close Shave for Duck. It's probably my favorite episode for alot of the same reasons this one is yours.
You know you've got to do a history behind the story now!
around 2:59 at the end of the trucks, Its hard but you can kind of see a chassis pushing the trucks and it looks to have side rods too. i never notice that until now. nice👍
