@@locazoluki you have alts, you park them infront of the dungeon set to heroic, and once a day you log onto each alt parked infront of the dungeon do one heroic and then log on to the next alt. as most things such as transmog, pets, mounts, toys are shared account wide you dont need to get everything on a single character and considering the HUGE Amount of seals you need most likely you wont grind it out all in one session (frankly that would be impossible) basically instead of counting how many hours you need to farm something you can count how long youre willing to wait, thats why the old legion invasions were such a great way to level alts, even though legion invasions only spawned about every 20 ish hours you could do them in about half an hour and get 4-5 levels in that time, sure TECHNICALLY that means you get 5 levels every 20 hours which doesnt sound good as you can get about 1 level per hour while normal questing but you only need to SPENT half an hour leveling so in reality its 5 levels in 30 minutes, the rest is just waiting for the next invasion, and the other 19 1/2 hours you can do what ever, you can gear up your main, farm transmog, do auctions or stuff unrelated to wow cook dinner, watch a movie, go on a date etc so while the time to level up OVERALL is alot longer your actual time INVESTMENT is much lower, the way it works with seals is (simplified) this: imagine there are 5 mounts you want to buy, each costing 100 seals, one heroic dungeon gives you 5 seals while one normal dungeon only gives you 1 seal per dungeon, lets say the dungeon takes 1-6 minutes to complete if you farm it out with just normal dungeons on one character thats 500 dungeons with 10 dungeons per hour (which is the fastest possible speed) you will spent just over 2 days aka 50 hours of doing dungeons if you have 5 alts and only do on heroic a day it will take you 20 days to get all mounts... but in reality you only spent 100-600 MINUTES aka 1 1/2 - 10 hours PLAYING the game compared to the 50 hours of playing the game doing it with normal dungeons so

Great tips! When I did this grind, I broke it up over a few different alts so I could get all of the mounts faster. I assigned each alt 2-3 mounts to purchase and it significantly cut down on the number of weeks I had to grind dailies/dungeons. I managed to get all of the mounts (even the paladin specific ones) during the Shadowlands Pre-Patch at the end of BfA
I have been farming this normally, by using the mount, and I hated it. The mechanics are horrible and it takes so much time... Learning you can dismount and fight them has been life saving. You have saved possibly hours of my time THANK YOU.
Recently came back and enjoy your content. One thing to mention about anything earlier than Cataclysm is that Transmog wasn't introduced until Cata SO..many people don't have the appearances from these old dungeons. One more reason to run through them on each armor type, so pick one alt of each armor type, grind out one item and repeat

Now that the champion's seals are transferable between toons on your account in TWW, you can farm the seals on alts and compile them on a main that has the most progress with the tournament. I have too many alts. I farmed up over 100 in a day, but that was ALL day. If you have 10 alts, pop the heroic dungeon on each one, that'll net you 30 seals per day easy.
just a minor tip. U dont start with those champuins seals, u need to earn the right to earn those. Aaaarch the argent tournament is just one complicated mess xD
Hi! Do you know by any chance, why I don't have any dailies in that zone? I've tried to do few quests to probably unlock them but nothing, there is litteraly 0 dailies...
Blizz could really improve old grinds like this by either giving a few more seals, or just reducing the cost. These mounts aren't impressive to look at, and they're well over a decade old. I went through a few months of grinding for some of the alliance race specific mounts and kept going for the other mounts you can buy and the grind was just painfully boring. How are new mount collectors supposed to even get close to the 150, 200, 250 mount achievements if they have to run against a wall like this for months on end. And even with a well prepared and patient as all hell player like yourself taking such a long time, this would just be an instant pass for most players. I can understand keeping certain old content mounts as hard to get through achievements or low drop rates, but stuff like this is a clear indication that they just want you to be logged in every single day. And God forbid if you miss a day or a week from this grind, cause then you feel like crap and see the finish line that much farther away. This kind of content isn't rewarding, it's just a treadmill that beats you down.

Once I decided to grind this I dug out my old alts on an old server and started the dailies grind on 5 old characters. I do the dailies and one heroic. *Another benefit is you can get and do the quests, then return to chromie in your capital, change your timeline to northrend, and get 1/4 to 1/3 of a level every day up until 48*. It's 2 hours a day minimum for what is still weeks, but at least it's not going to take over a year.
Have you been working on Island Expeditions as well? For some reason that came to mind when thinking about TotC -- I've been working on the Champion's Seals for years. Literally. I don't think about it much, so this was a great reminder!

What's weird to me is that she was my main for over a decade, but I would always play her to group with my husband's pally. Well, husband lost interest pretty quick in Shadowlands, so I parked her and started playing on my Enhancement shaman, who is my main/alt now. I just don't do much for Island Expeditions with my shaman because most of my achievements are on my spriest. Ah, dilemmas -- because I still don't consider my shammy my main.

Two small notes, you can tear up the Faction reputations using the Trial. I seem to remember that you get a ton of rep doing the daily using whichever faction flag you use and then at each rep. stage with the Trial. That is a great way to work on heritage sets on the sly. The last thing would be the agrent squire with his mount. 150 seals for a bank or vendor anywhere you can mount.
I still use the squire occasionally when I can’t mount and need too empty my bags. (I know there are other options, but mail box, vendor or bank is just my go too). Do you get a bug with the squire, where he keeps being resummoned on any loading screen after being dismissed until you use a different pet, then dismiss that? It happens every time (I’ve had him since Wrath), and him tooting at being resummoned is annoying (and he just follows after 2 mins of vendor or post, so is not much use unless you want a standard bearer). Would be interested if anyone else has the same thing, I’ve had multiple pc’s reinstalls etc. Is it just my squire?
I have two toons farming the tokens. Forgot about the dungeon token drops. If I do the quests and dungeons one a day on both toons I can have 100 seals in 5-6 days

There are the daily quests in the neutral tent too, which has more things to buy. Without doing dungeons iirc it was possible to get 26/day, but it’s been about a decade since I maxed this out on one faction. So maybe I don’t remember exactly… it’s nice to see the dungeon is soloable now though!
Unless they've changed it, no it doesn't work for the outdoor dailies. You can fight someone else's opponent while not mounted but not your own. Dismounting during your own challenge will end the encounter. Back when this was current content there would be people that would go around and ground fight other people's opponents. I would always purposely dismount when they tried it with mine because even though it would make the fights quicker, it would also sometimes glitch them and make them not count for the quest and then you'd have to do another one to make up for it. I liked the jousting portion and got really good at it so the outside "help" was more of an annoyance to me.
this is a great video but imo instead of doing normal, it's a lot more time efficient to just do the dailies on alts (corresponding race to the items you're trying to get). also having a buddy to do the mount dailys is huge as they can one shot the enemy for you, and no tag is needed. wormhole from wotlk is very nice too as the icecrown teleport takes you right above the western tent, i usually save this for otw back to turn everything in. The alts that i currently have doing them atm, are parked directly in front of the neutral site dailies, and my hearths take me back to the faction tent.

I seem to remember that you got some more quests opened up as you completed the area, there are definitely at least 10, I’d guess you might be missing a low level quest (somewhere in Northrend 🤷♂️) and that’ll open up the rest. Try the small island north of the tournament as well, it’s been a long time since I unlocked them, but I passed the other day and they were around 10 speed over 2 tents (one is just outside, but in the main). I’ll get the names for you of them, hopefully you can track back with wowhead. I’m stuck at home with a broken ankle anyway. No excuse not to do that 50-60 grind on a few alts now I suppose.
Sooooooo glad i did it all back in the day, was even worse back then btw as it was one of the few places to get heirlooms to hehe... so you needed to buy them for new alts you fancied making and leveling.. happy days
I dont think I played during Wrath but tried to farm Champion's Seals today. Im level 60 with current gear but i didnt get any Champion's Seals for clearing the raid... Is there a prereq or did they take the Champion's Seals out of the game?
The seals won't come from the raid, but they do come from the dungeon! If you did the dungeon too and got nothing, it is possible you need to complete the Valiant quests first, but I doubt that considering you can farm this each day while doing them (I did).
I was hoping for something faster. I need 91 seals for 1 paladin mount (as i already farmed everything else when it was current). which means at 10 an hour, i'll be doing this dungeon for the next 9 hours.... ugh. That's rough. I may just make it a habit to do these dallies plus the dungeons every day. That would be better time spent.
On my main bnet account I am done, but this is my alt bnet account so I can make videos on stuff like this. I've done *almost* everything on my main bnet account, soooo that makes it really hard to do vids on things I've already done years ago. >n
I did this back when it was still new content. I got to the point where I unlocked everything and was earning the champion seals. Then I paid for a faction/server switch and it reset my progress back to the beginning, basically I had to do everything all over again. Kept the seals, but they were useless cause you had to unlock those dailies before the vendors could unlock. Once I realized this, I gave up completely and never went back there again (other than the SL prepatch stuff)
HAH. i noticed something. i can do EVERYTHING in this tournament in under 1 month. you need to split the factions to your alts. i think i can do all in like 25 days.

A plus to this is you can receive all the appearances. :) So I imagine you could get all the appearances by 100 seals for each alt.

I did th4e farm of all the mounts TWICE back in the day.... before everything became account bound D: :P
You can now do the heroic once a day on ALL your alts and transfer the seals to your main and buy all the things you want to collect ^^

My Swift Burgundy Wolf is still one of my faves. It was the first mount I really earned back in lich king and none of my friends had it.

HAH. i noticed something. i can do EVERYTHING in this tournament in under 1 month. you need to split the factions to your alts. i think i can do all in like 25 days.
