After watching I took my lil 110 gnome engineer, got her the mats to make the Wormhole Generator: Northrend, used it, got the option "Underground..." right away, spoke to good ol' Kaye Toogie, and got the recipes! I have several stacks of Inky Black potion in my bag at all times, and play with it on at night. It makes the game look actually dark at night, like the early days of wow. For questing in Drustvar or Duskwood, I'd call it a necessity.
Brazie Getz vendor appears in Icecrown Citadel raid after you defeat Saurfang the younger. A small group of human peons appear and build some tents near where this boss died and the vendor appears after the tents are completed. He sells a bunch of general items and two items of special interest. The first is Fras Siabi's Barely Bigger Beer (limit 5) for 35 silver each, and he sells Brazie's Black Book of Secrets, a limited purple item that can be right clicked on to open. This item sells for 22,000 gold. I've only ever seen this vendor, if you wait long enough for Varian and Jaina to finish talking. By the time they're done, the tents are done and the vendor appears. I'd say this guy could be at least an honorable mention in your top ten list.
To anyone searching for Lenny "Fingers" McCoy, after the Broken Shore quest is completed he is still available in Old Town, next to Paulie, the Champion's Treadblade vendor. He still sells the "lucky" items, including the shirt, as well as the Bom'bay's Color-Seein' Sauce as of 05/17/2018. As all my characters are Alliance, I have been unable to determine if the Horde counterpart, Ravika, has been similarly reactivated in a new location, but I have seen indications that she may be available somewhere on the Echo Isles, the troll starting zone.
I wish they'd come up with an Achievement linked to Rona. For example, if you buy and use the item that matches your race you would get one called "You Are What You Eat" or something. What? I've seen sillier ones.
Also holy hell was it a pain in the ass getting footage for some of these vendors. I had to sit in Stormwind City for 2 hours before Lil Timmy spawned. Luckily I had trade chat to keep me occupied. Alliance players do not like being called 12 in game either lol. I also got really lucky when farming for the mad merchant footage. I just parked 2 alts in his spawn location on 2 different servers and managed to find a spawn after a reset on a tuesday. And the same day I managed to get footage of the shady book dealer in the sewers on my Demon Hunter alt. But never on my rouge alt who I had parked in the sewers for 3 weeks waiting for a spawn. And I've been sitting on that Footage of the girl under dalaran for 2 years now, just in case I ever decided to make a video about hidden vendors.
There are some other vendors but I can't check them myself as I'm unsubbed for the moment. There are some engineering vendors in Hinterlands (behind elven lodge), one between Durnholde Keep and Thoradin Wall (hidden under some trees) and two guys in Silverpine: one near Greymane's Wall and the other on the shore between North Tide's Beachhead and Skittering Dark I think.
What about the flower vendor in the Culling of Stratholm? If you don't start the event and go all the way around to the right, there is a vendor - Sophie Aaren - and she sells the Stratholm Lily along with other flowers. But you can only talk to her before you start the event. Once started she is gone and so are your chances of getting that flower in there. The same NPC is also in the Death of Chromie event.
I love these videos because not only are they really cool, give insight into secret and hidden npcs and stuff but the comments section is filled with awesome comments of even more advice of other npcs to visit and its all good :D Love this community
There's a drink vendor in one of the buildings halfway down the ramp to Caverns of Time. Most people never see him cause they either fly themselves down or take the dragon mount at the entrance to the ramp. There's also a goblin vendor with engineering stuff, and a schematic, in the hills near Quel'Danil Lodge in Hinterlands. I haven't been to either of these in a little while, but I believe they are still there.
There use to be a vendor in Outlands, Blade's Edge Mountains that could only be accessed while wearing a disguise you got during a quest. Don't recall all the specifics, but they were in a cave where most of the quest took place.
Ahhh I remember finding Thomas Yance and Rona Greenteeth on my own. I especially love the inky black potion! You don't ever have to look at the sun in WoW again AND you get to see night time for any place that doesn't have a regular day/night cycle. Like Hellfire Peninsula! Or as I now call it, _Nightfire Peninsula_ .
Wyrmcult Provisioner is my favorite hidden vendor. He sells the Orb of the Blackwhelp which has 3 charges and lets you transform into a black dragon whelp for a few minutes. To get to him you have to get to a certain point in a quest chain in Blade's Edge and farm for costume scraps from the nearby mobs at an annoying drop rate, disguise yourself, and go find him in the cave. He's off the beaten path of the quest, so blink and you'll miss him.
Someone has probably already mentioned it, but the faction-specific vendor on top of saurfangs rise in ICC after you kill the boss. It sells expensive and unusual items.
Wow! I am an engineer on my main, logged in with him right after watching the video, used the Northrend portal, and guess what - I actually had the underground option! Never had it before a single time. Unfortunately she had no recipes left at that moment... So I need to farm for it again >.>
I remember camping out for Lil Timmy right where he spawned in old Stormwind back in Wrath. The Kitten sold for a ton on my server back in the day. I made so much money.
It's worth noting that if you can reach Kaye Toogie and her recipes aren't in stock, you can just log off that character and check again later. I did this with my rogue a couple weeks back over the course of a week, and finally hearthed out with 15 of each recipe in my bag.
for the vendors at 5:30, you can actually still buy the hidden shoes, etc from Ravika even after you've done the Broken Shore. I just went to her on my 110 belf priest. She's on the Echo Isles at 57, 62.
Another great hidden vendor is Mushroom Merchant in Neltharion's Lair dungeon he sells for example Floaty Fungus which with clever usage of it can let us skip half of the bosses of this dungeon which allows for 2 minutes runs, very useful when you try to grind that Highmountain Tribe rep.
You can actually get the Broken Shore items outside that phase. There's a vendor in the harbor after for Alliance, and the Echo Isle for Horde. Also, I would say it's worth mentioning how you can get the bonnet transmog for Alliance in that phase too.
One of the "secret" venders you missed (in my opinion) is a guy named "silvermoon" Harry in howling fjord. He sells blood elf starting zone gear and he's by some lodge in a random ass tent. I forgot about him until I started questing again. Interesting NPC for sure. Otherwise great video as always Hiru :D
He can now also be found at an Alliance camp in Nazmir. He's part of the 7th Legion chain (you and Brann talk to him when you first go to Nazmir). Not sure if he's a vendor there or not. His girlfriend (who needs to leave his ass) is also there.
Honestly, this is a fantastically useful video for collectors of various stuff. And as a collector of all various stuff, this is very much appreciated. Very well done.
Gotta give a shout-out to Augustus the Touched in the Eastern Plaguelands. The guy is in a pretty well hidden spot (If he didn't give out quests) and he sells "A Crazy Grab Bag" for 8 gold after you get his receipt book back for him. These bags contain random BoE's which can be sold on the auction house for a small profit, but Augustus only has one Bag in stock at a time on a respawn timer, so you can't just abuse it to all hell.
Was waiting for him to make a guest appearance in the list lol. There was always a rumor (on wowdb, back in Vanilla) that he would sometimes sell an epic item. Most people said it was BS, but I did see it happen once. It was a terrible item, too.
You forgot in BC there's a special vendor that only spawns after a certain phase of the Apexis event in blade's edge mountains. It sells the Windchanneler's Miter, which is a unique blue version of Whitemane's cap. This was the - only - cloth hat that for some reason didn't hide your hair, and looked great with many transmog sets, but for some also unknown reason Blizzard decided it was too fashionable and "fixed" it to hide the hair, and this was before the character model upgrades.
I no longer play WoW (for a number of reasons), and haven't since the month before Legion released, but your videos give me that dose of WoW to satisfy my craving to return to the game. Love WoW, but as a former addict, I have to stay away from the game itself.
JDpwner22 You must masta and control your addiction before they control you and join us in Battle for Azeroth. I'm actually speaking from experience while being goofy about it because I use to be addicted to Video games. Nothing could get me away from them no matter what it was, but if you put your mind to it, it is possible to control the need to play them, now a days I play video games still even WoW but it's more of a passion or a hobby rather than an addiction and at the same time I do stuff away from the video games, it's easy to put the controller down or walk away from the keyboard now when I want to do other things, you just need self control.
I've definitely gotten much better over the past two or so years. That said, the fear of a relapse keeps me from playing as of right now. WoW in particular is insanely addictive to me.
I think the drunken ogre in dire maul ought to be included as he turn from an agressive mob to a friendly vendor first after you have slayed the king and become king yourself. Now, what makes most players miss this vendor is because 1; he is an agressive boss and will most likely be slayed by your party when you meet him, especially when in groupfinder-dungeons with randoms. But you see, even if you skip to kill him most players miss him because he is in the early part of the instance whielst the king which you have to slay for the vendor to be friendly/avilable is at the very end of the instance. Which means that you have to travel to the end and then back to the start. I would say that to firstly miss to kill him and then also for some reason decide to run all the way back to the start after the dungeon has been completed, these two factors makes him an easy vendor to miss, few knows about him, and by so rare. Also the Ethereal Soul Trader which is a rare TCG pet is a rare vendor, which means you have to win this vendor pet through TCG or spend a fortune to buy him, and then have to realise that the pet is actually also a vendor when you have him summoned. This means a very few players have owned this pet/vendor because of how rare/expansive it is, so I bet this vendor is among the least vendors to ever have been interacted with by the community throughout the years.
So in short terms, the pet which actually is a vendor by itself, could be your mobile vendor without summoning Traveler's Tundra Mammoth or something? If so, this pet is very valuable!!

Well there is allways the vendor in raventhold manor that sells the toy for rogues that requires you to pickpocket the guy on the mountains next to the place with the glyph that copys the apperance and then use an ability called detect if im not mistaken in the basement of the manor
I'm going through this in-game just to see. I'm a Hunter not a Druid - so when I went to Moonglade obviously there wasn't anything there for me EXCEPT... One of those pesky Nightelves sold a green, super low level poopy bow which I didn't have in my collection and now I do!! I never would have discovered this if it wasn't for your video - so thanks for taking the time to create it... YEAH!!!
Go to the upper end of Westfall and use a waterwalking mount/ability- charge forward toward Stormwind. There is a secret goblin vendor next to two armed guards. I don't remember if he sells anything special, persay... but, his area is used for characters that are currently watching the intro cinematics, so you can often see people spazzing in and out of existence, which is kinda cool :D
I played a lot back in the old days of vanilla then left foryears. Now, I pop on every so often to see new expansions and the world updates and find through vids like this and watching people farm these days that I have all the recipes they now have to camp/pray to find, and I got them before they were a bitch to find/buy. Makes me glad I kept my account and didnt sell it like most my friends who had to start all over when they returned.
There's a semi-secret vendor in Raven Hill on the top floor of one of the old houses. In classic, at least, he sells rare recipes and potions, and is the only vendor on that side of the zone.
I LOVE the inky black potion. I love using it when I stay up really late grinding. It really adds to the immersion, since even at night, a lot of zones are still really bright.

The ancient dalaran portal tome was only obtainable from scarlet monastery mage last boss with the book burning cutter. If you enter the room, on your right side there was a clickable book with the tome inside. BTW i did not know about the mage vendor selling it now, so its new to me :)
There's also archeage vargoth, who you can only get to by collecting the schools or arcane magic books, which are on interesting spawn locations and timers to be able to teleport to him and buy a pet you can only get from him.

For the vendors at 5:45 you are incorrect about you only being able to get those items during the event/quest to go to the broken shore and you do not need to level an alt if you didn't. All that happens is the vendors change location after you have completed the Broken Shore questline.. The Stormwind vendor moves from the Harbor to next to the vendor who sells the Champion Threadblade Chopper in Old Town, and the Troll vendor from the Horde harbor, moves to the village in the troll starting zone island in Durotar.
Oklahoma Hank That doesn't matter because this video was published April 7, 2018, today. It may have been true during the prepatch and 7.0, but not as far as 7.3.5 today. So it's incorrect at time of this video being posted and has been incorrect since 7.1 when Blizzard placed the vendors elsewhere in their respective zones for those who cried about it all over on the forums during pre-patch and 7.0.
i was surprised that one spawning vendor on timeless isles wasn't on the list. whizzig is his name. he sells magical pet biscuits. for 500 timeless isle according to wowhead.
There's also an NPC in Nagrand , at the Throne of Elements who wont even present any option or dialogues to you if you're not a shaman. If you are , she can sell you some class specific toys such as a waterorb that rotates around your character or an ability to create a little frog rain. I dont actually know if those can also be bought at the order hall or not though
Those shirts are no longer given to new toons (and weren't when this video was made and for a VERY long time which makes it baffling that you even mentioned making new characters to get them) so it makes him a little more useful than you thought and I'm very glad that I know he exists now
I wish there would be a rain version of the black sky potion. I love the sound and athmosphere of Wow when it's raining and would love to have a way to play this way all the time.
I could be wrong but I think there are/is a toy that does just that, I sort of remember there being some sort of stone you could randomly get from the timeless Isle that made it snow so maybe there's another that does rain!?

For the pre-Legion phased event vendors, you can create a level 100 class trial, mail yourself gold, buy the items, and delete the trial. Worked about a month ago for me.

Namely several mount vendors, especially in the new expansion area. BUT that's super nitpicky and not REALLY important so ignore me.) KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
I used that Netherstorm vendor and cooking recipes to make good cash back in the day. My toon is Rexkrammer on Bladefist. I used to run an add with the catchy line 'Shop Smart, shop Rexmark!"
Horvon the Armorer is a ghost vendor/repairer found just outside the Auchenai Crypts instance door (Terokkar Forest 34.6, 66.0). He cannot be seen without completing certain quests. See, for example, the "Vision of the Dead" quest.
I'm surprised you didnt include the merchant in the cave in Ashenvalle that sells the sapling pet. Its not limited but to get to him he's in a random cave at the bottom of a waterfall
theres one in icecrowncitadel wich sells items after the assault u kill that captain dude wait for everyone to leave. then randomly this gnome shows up and sells some ''lewd'' stuff like a vibrator :) dunno if that still is ingame but i remember him because in the old days during that raid we took a break. the gnome showed and we saw the item for like 20.000 gold or some weird shit.
There are limited goods vendors on the wall at the back of durnholde keep in hillsbrad, arathi highlands across a narrow bridge right after entering the zone from wetlands and in sundown marsh in the wetlands. A spawning alchemy vendor is in the ruins of alterac in hillsbrad.
It always blew my mind people would pay 10 to 15 times more for an item that they can go get off a vendor, just to save a 10-15 minutes of running. I only started buying pets after I left WoW for an entire expansion (MOP), it was just to much to try and go back and farm all those dinosaurs. It always felt like cheating to buy a rare pet like an oozeling, I would much rather earn it and enjoy that rush of getting the drop. Nowadays I guess my mindset is outdated.
Time is money friend. Instead of farming a pet for 3 days I could sell gear runs and actually make money. It's basically personal choice on how you want to play the game. Man, that was ages ago tho. I'm impressed the game is still around

Funny story about that, I had planned on including it in the video, but then deiced against it when I found it it didnt sell any exclusive items and only sold stuff you could get in the order hall. Then later on I figured out the same was true of the hunter vendor as well, and then thought "ehh might as well leave it in" and forgot to re-add the shaman vendor to the list.
Really enjoyed the video. Never heard of Toogie, thought to myself hmmm I’m an engineer. Used wormhole generator and never seen the underground option before. And it was there. I got so excited. Lol.
There is also another quest specific vendor. When you are doing quest with the bloodscale buccaneers in the Cape of Stranglethorn. On one of the ships there is a pet vendor. I don't know if it sells items only he does, but definitely was interesting. And only available through the time while you are accepted among the buccaneers.
I got one. Stomper Kreeg. This guy is initially a boss in the Vanilla dungeon Dire Maul North. However, it's possible to complete that dungeon without killing ANY bosses except King Gordok. Once you kill Gordok, all the ogres become Friendly, and Kreeg becomes a merchant. Now, the only truly useful thing he sells is Volatile Rum. which is needed to make Goblin Rocket Fuel (Alchemy) or Banana Infused Rum (Pandarian Cooking). The only truly reliable vendor to get this from is Daisy at Thousand Needles. You can also get it from Dread Captain DeMeza (who's only present on Pirate's Day) and Shely Steelbowels (only appears in the Icecrown raid, only for Alliance.) Kreeg also sells Gordok Green Grog (boosts stamina, but makes you drunk) , Kreeg's Stout Beatdown (increases Versatility but lowers Intellect) and Evermurkey and Molasses Firewater. All four of these are unique to him. Not too useful, but interesting.
There are 7 vendors who sell Friendship Bread and Freshly-Squeezed Lemonade. One of them is a weaponsmith who has other stuff for sale, but the other 6 only sell these two items. They are rare because their vendor window is only available if you turn in a quest item to them which was a rare drop from mobs during the Scourge invasion event.
There is a secret spawn vendor in Darkmoon Farie - I saw him by accident at the docks and when I accidently unclicked him he disappered , next I saw a guy searching for something and had to tell him the vendor was gone -sadly ( On a rpserver ) He was 30 sec to late -bad for him.
the two that you find on your way to the broken shore CAN be found in other parts of the map AFTER that quest. the horde one IS in the trolls starting area and the human guy is over by the guy that sells the alliance chopper in Old Town in Stormwind.
The tomes and what not are available from other vendors because they were out quite a bit before order halls were accessible. A bit before the pre patch Legion, I believe.
ive still got the spectral orb. I remember starting off in BC on my mage and being yelled at for not looting everything when my guild ran me through Scholo. Good times. :D
Unfortunately I am running across this years later... but there used to be one in Alterac Mountains that would sell a Frost Oil recipe. He was on the north wall of the Ruins of Alterac. Though I am not sure if he is still in-game as I ahven't seen him in a long time.
Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock of the Argent Crusade is not in the Pally order halll. She is at Lights Hope which is above their order hall which is accessible to all toons and she has some rep requirements for some items. She is by no means any where close to being a secret or hidden vendor since she has been in game since classic and the place she is at , Lights Hope Chapel is and has been a main quest hub for the area which at one time a end zone content . Her selling needed crafting patterns and much needed shoulder enchants for their time.
The best way to get maximum discount is use a character with exalted reputation to buy the pets for your banker alt. It's better to use an alt that we don't play so we can keep him/her there to buy the pets for sell.
There was a vendor in hillsbrad, in the snowy place inside a shack before cataclysm. Don't know if he's still there, he was a dwarf. And in darkshire there's a vendor at raven hill in one of those ruined buildings, I think he's guarded by an elite.
There used to be a spot in dalaran bank near horde area where you can go out of the map, if you managed to get one of the potions in dalaran sewers where it had a chance to turn you into a bug it allowed you to fly indoors. now what you can do is inch carefully where Kaye is without touching the zone where it disconnects you from the game.
I watched this video a few months ago while taking a nap. i woke up and got onto classic wow and went to the priest trainer in SW and lil timmy was fuckin just strolling around and i got the cat and I FREAKED OUT. great memory

I would have expected The Amazing Zanzo to at least get a mention at the start (he's the mage equivalent of Cravitz Lorent, not exactly a _vendor,_ since he doesn't charge you any gold, just teaches the "Polymorph:Pig" spell if you ask nicely). Also, the dark iron vendor in Blackrock Depths, who still sells some unique (or at least very rare) blacksmithing plans after you raise your reputation. And the alchemy vendor in Hillsbrad near the ogres. And Bolyun in Ashenvale, and... :P

There’s a vendor behind a waterfall. Can’t remember which zone. She sells a pet. There’s also a vendor that spawns on a wall in Hillsbrad, who sells some hard to get recipe. And there’s a vendor that spawns in Winterspring over by the ghosts. Doesn’t sell anything special today (mostly just old mats). But he’s still a secret vendor.
Lol I remember way back in either Vanilla or Burning I was in Stormwind doing something. I turned a corner just as Little Timmy spawned. Snapped up the cat and everyone in my guild freaked out at how lucky I had been!
its been a long while since I played WoW, but if anyone remember the one "defias trader/vender" in the westfall Inn, he was the ONLY member of the defias who was friendly to the player, OR the blind vender outside Gilneas who was friendly to Alliance AND Horde players!

The first is Fras Siabi's Barely Bigger Beer (limit 5) for 35 silver each, and he sells Brazie's Black Book of Secrets, a limited purple item that can be right clicked on to open. This item sells for 22,000 gold.
I've only ever seen this vendor, if you wait long enough for Varian and Jaina to finish talking. By the time they're done, the tents are done and the vendor appears. I'd say this guy could be at least an honorable mention in your top ten list.

To anyone searching for Lenny "Fingers" McCoy, after the Broken Shore quest is completed he is still available in Old Town, next to Paulie, the Champion's Treadblade vendor. He still sells the "lucky" items, including the shirt, as well as the Bom'bay's Color-Seein' Sauce as of 05/17/2018.
As all my characters are Alliance, I have been unable to determine if the Horde counterpart, Ravika, has been similarly reactivated in a new location, but I have seen indications that she may be available somewhere on the Echo Isles, the troll starting zone.
I wish they'd come up with an Achievement linked to Rona. For example, if you buy and use the item that matches your race you would get one called "You Are What You Eat" or something.

Also holy hell was it a pain in the ass getting footage for some of these vendors. I had to sit in Stormwind City for 2 hours before Lil Timmy spawned. Luckily I had trade chat to keep me occupied. Alliance players do not like being called 12 in game either lol. I also got really lucky when farming for the mad merchant footage. I just parked 2 alts in his spawn location on 2 different servers and managed to find a spawn after a reset on a tuesday. And the same day I managed to get footage of the shady book dealer in the sewers on my Demon Hunter alt. But never on my rouge alt who I had parked in the sewers for 3 weeks waiting for a spawn.
And I've been sitting on that Footage of the girl under dalaran for 2 years now, just in case I ever decided to make a video about hidden vendors.

Just a tip, you can actually get the Legion scenario stuff w/o making a new alt. Just use the level 100 class trial and mail yourself gold.
There are some other vendors but I can't check them myself as I'm unsubbed for the moment. There are some engineering vendors in Hinterlands (behind elven lodge), one between Durnholde Keep and Thoradin Wall (hidden under some trees) and two guys in Silverpine: one near Greymane's Wall and the other on the shore between North Tide's Beachhead and Skittering Dark I think.

What about the flower vendor in the Culling of Stratholm? If you don't start the event and go all the way around to the right, there is a vendor - Sophie Aaren - and she sells the Stratholm Lily along with other flowers. But you can only talk to her before you start the event. Once started she is gone and so are your chances of getting that flower in there. The same NPC is also in the Death of Chromie event.
I love these videos because not only are they really cool, give insight into secret and hidden npcs and stuff but the comments section is filled with awesome comments of even more advice of other npcs to visit and its all good :D Love this community
There's a drink vendor in one of the buildings halfway down the ramp to Caverns of Time. Most people never see him cause they either fly themselves down or take the dragon mount at the entrance to the ramp.
There's also a goblin vendor with engineering stuff, and a schematic, in the hills near Quel'Danil Lodge in Hinterlands. I haven't been to either of these in a little while, but I believe they are still there.
There use to be a vendor in Outlands, Blade's Edge Mountains that could only be accessed while wearing a disguise you got during a quest. Don't recall all the specifics, but they were in a cave where most of the quest took place.
Ahhh I remember finding Thomas Yance and Rona Greenteeth on my own. I especially love the inky black potion! You don't ever have to look at the sun in WoW again AND you get to see night time for any place that doesn't have a regular day/night cycle. Like Hellfire Peninsula! Or as I now call it, _Nightfire Peninsula_ .

Wyrmcult Provisioner is my favorite hidden vendor. He sells the Orb of the Blackwhelp which has 3 charges and lets you transform into a black dragon whelp for a few minutes. To get to him you have to get to a certain point in a quest chain in Blade's Edge and farm for costume scraps from the nearby mobs at an annoying drop rate, disguise yourself, and go find him in the cave. He's off the beaten path of the quest, so blink and you'll miss him.
Someone has probably already mentioned it, but the faction-specific vendor on top of saurfangs rise in ICC after you kill the boss. It sells expensive and unusual items.
Wow! I am an engineer on my main, logged in with him right after watching the video, used the Northrend portal, and guess what - I actually had the underground option! Never had it before a single time. Unfortunately she had no recipes left at that moment... So I need to farm for it again >.>
I remember camping out for Lil Timmy right where he spawned in old Stormwind back in Wrath. The Kitten sold for a ton on my server back in the day. I made so much money.
It's worth noting that if you can reach Kaye Toogie and her recipes aren't in stock, you can just log off that character and check again later. I did this with my rogue a couple weeks back over the course of a week, and finally hearthed out with 15 of each recipe in my bag.
for the vendors at 5:30, you can actually still buy the hidden shoes, etc from Ravika even after you've done the Broken Shore. I just went to her on my 110 belf priest. She's on the Echo Isles at 57, 62.
I never heard of Kaye Toogie til literally this day 2/20/2021.
Another great hidden vendor is Mushroom Merchant in Neltharion's Lair dungeon he sells for example Floaty Fungus which with clever usage of it can let us skip half of the bosses of this dungeon which allows for 2 minutes runs, very useful when you try to grind that Highmountain Tribe rep.
You can actually get the Broken Shore items outside that phase. There's a vendor in the harbor after for Alliance, and the Echo Isle for Horde. Also, I would say it's worth mentioning how you can get the bonnet transmog for Alliance in that phase too.
One of the "secret" venders you missed (in my opinion) is a guy named "silvermoon" Harry in howling fjord. He sells blood elf starting zone gear and he's by some lodge in a random ass tent. I forgot about him until I started questing again. Interesting NPC for sure. Otherwise great video as always Hiru :D
He can now also be found at an Alliance camp in Nazmir. He's part of the 7th Legion chain (you and Brann talk to him when you first go to Nazmir). Not sure if he's a vendor there or not. His girlfriend (who needs to leave his ass) is also there.
Honestly, this is a fantastically useful video for collectors of various stuff. And as a collector of all various stuff, this is very much appreciated. Very well done.
Gotta give a shout-out to Augustus the Touched in the Eastern Plaguelands. The guy is in a pretty well hidden spot (If he didn't give out quests) and he sells "A Crazy Grab Bag" for 8 gold after you get his receipt book back for him. These bags contain random BoE's which can be sold on the auction house for a small profit, but Augustus only has one Bag in stock at a time on a respawn timer, so you can't just abuse it to all hell.
Was waiting for him to make a guest appearance in the list lol. There was always a rumor (on wowdb, back in Vanilla) that he would sometimes sell an epic item. Most people said it was BS, but I did see it happen once. It was a terrible item, too.
You forgot in BC there's a special vendor that only spawns after a certain phase of the Apexis event in blade's edge mountains. It sells the Windchanneler's Miter, which is a unique blue version of Whitemane's cap. This was the - only - cloth hat that for some reason didn't hide your hair, and looked great with many transmog sets, but for some also unknown reason Blizzard decided it was too fashionable and "fixed" it to hide the hair, and this was before the character model upgrades.
I no longer play WoW (for a number of reasons), and haven't since the month before Legion released, but your videos give me that dose of WoW to satisfy my craving to return to the game. Love WoW, but as a former addict, I have to stay away from the game itself.

I'm actually speaking from experience while being goofy about it because I use to be addicted to Video games. Nothing could get me away from them no matter what it was, but if you put your mind to it, it is possible to control the need to play them, now a days I play video games still even WoW but it's more of a passion or a hobby rather than an addiction and at the same time I do stuff away from the video games, it's easy to put the controller down or walk away from the keyboard now when I want to do other things, you just need self control.
I've definitely gotten much better over the past two or so years. That said, the fear of a relapse keeps me from playing as of right now. WoW in particular is insanely addictive to me.

I think the drunken ogre in dire maul ought to be included as he turn from an agressive mob to a friendly vendor first after you have slayed the king and become king yourself. Now, what makes most players miss this vendor is because 1; he is an agressive boss and will most likely be slayed by your party when you meet him, especially when in groupfinder-dungeons with randoms. But you see, even if you skip to kill him most players miss him because he is in the early part of the instance whielst the king which you have to slay for the vendor to be friendly/avilable is at the very end of the instance. Which means that you have to travel to the end and then back to the start. I would say that to firstly miss to kill him and then also for some reason decide to run all the way back to the start after the dungeon has been completed, these two factors makes him an easy vendor to miss, few knows about him, and by so rare.
Also the Ethereal Soul Trader which is a rare TCG pet is a rare vendor, which means you have to win this vendor pet through TCG or spend a fortune to buy him, and then have to realise that the pet is actually also a vendor when you have him summoned. This means a very few players have owned this pet/vendor because of how rare/expansive it is, so I bet this vendor is among the least vendors to ever have been interacted with by the community throughout the years.
So in short terms, the pet which actually is a vendor by itself, could be your mobile vendor without summoning Traveler's Tundra Mammoth or something?

Well there is allways the vendor in raventhold manor that sells the toy for rogues that requires you to pickpocket the guy on the mountains next to the place with the glyph that copys the apperance and then use an ability called detect if im not mistaken in the basement of the manor

One of those pesky Nightelves sold a green, super low level poopy bow which I didn't have in my collection and now I do!! I never would have discovered this if it wasn't for your video - so thanks for taking the time to create it... YEAH!!!
Go to the upper end of Westfall and use a waterwalking mount/ability- charge forward toward Stormwind. There is a secret goblin vendor next to two armed guards. I don't remember if he sells anything special, persay... but, his area is used for characters that are currently watching the intro cinematics, so you can often see people spazzing in and out of existence, which is kinda cool :D

I played a lot back in the old days of vanilla then left foryears. Now, I pop on every so often to see new expansions and the world updates and find through vids like this and watching people farm these days that I have all the recipes they now have to camp/pray to find, and I got them before they were a bitch to find/buy. Makes me glad I kept my account and didnt sell it like most my friends who had to start all over when they returned.
There's a semi-secret vendor in Raven Hill on the top floor of one of the old houses. In classic, at least, he sells rare recipes and potions, and is the only vendor on that side of the zone.
There is a vendor in Timbermaw Hold (tunnel system full of furbolgs between Moonglade, Felwood and Winterspring) who has several recipe/patterns.
I LOVE the inky black potion. I love using it when I stay up really late grinding. It really adds to the immersion, since even at night, a lot of zones are still really bright.
LOL, saw the video few times before, but I just realized that on my druid I missed all those spells, Flap is actually useful in many occasions.

The ancient dalaran portal tome was only obtainable from scarlet monastery mage last boss with the book burning cutter. If you enter the room, on your right side there was a clickable book with the tome inside. BTW i did not know about the mage vendor selling it now, so its new to me :)
There's also archeage vargoth, who you can only get to by collecting the schools or arcane magic books, which are on interesting spawn locations and timers to be able to teleport to him and buy a pet you can only get from him.

For the vendors at 5:45 you are incorrect about you only being able to get those items during the event/quest to go to the broken shore and you do not need to level an alt if you didn't. All that happens is the vendors change location after you have completed the Broken Shore questline.. The Stormwind vendor moves from the Harbor to next to the vendor who sells the Champion Threadblade Chopper in Old Town, and the Troll vendor from the Horde harbor, moves to the village in the troll starting zone island in Durotar.

Oklahoma Hank That doesn't matter because this video was published April 7, 2018, today. It may have been true during the prepatch and 7.0, but not as far as 7.3.5 today. So it's incorrect at time of this video being posted and has been incorrect since 7.1 when Blizzard placed the vendors elsewhere in their respective zones for those who cried about it all over on the forums during pre-patch and 7.0.

i was surprised that one spawning vendor on timeless isles wasn't on the list. whizzig is his name. he sells magical pet biscuits. for 500 timeless isle according to wowhead.
There's also an NPC in Nagrand , at the Throne of Elements who wont even present any option or dialogues to you if you're not a shaman. If you are , she can sell you some class specific toys such as a waterorb that rotates around your character or an ability to create a little frog rain.
I dont actually know if those can also be bought at the order hall or not though

Those shirts are no longer given to new toons (and weren't when this video was made and for a VERY long time which makes it baffling that you even mentioned making new characters to get them) so it makes him a little more useful than you thought and I'm very glad that I know he exists now
I wish there would be a rain version of the black sky potion. I love the sound and athmosphere of Wow when it's raining and would love to have a way to play this way all the time.
I could be wrong but I think there are/is a toy that does just that, I sort of remember there being some sort of stone you could randomly get from the timeless Isle that made it snow so maybe there's another that does rain!?

For the pre-Legion phased event vendors, you can create a level 100 class trial, mail yourself gold, buy the items, and delete the trial. Worked about a month ago for me.

I used that Netherstorm vendor and cooking recipes to make good cash back in the day. My toon is Rexkrammer on Bladefist. I used to run an add with the catchy line 'Shop Smart, shop Rexmark!"
Horvon the Armorer is a ghost vendor/repairer found just outside the Auchenai Crypts instance door (Terokkar Forest 34.6, 66.0). He cannot be seen without completing certain quests. See, for example, the "Vision of the Dead" quest.
I'm surprised you didnt include the merchant in the cave in Ashenvalle that sells the sapling pet. Its not limited but to get to him he's in a random cave at the bottom of a waterfall
theres one in icecrowncitadel wich sells items after the assault u kill that captain dude wait for everyone to leave. then randomly this gnome shows up and sells some ''lewd'' stuff like a vibrator :) dunno if that still is ingame but i remember him because in the old days during that raid we took a break. the gnome showed and we saw the item for like 20.000 gold or some weird shit.

There are limited goods vendors on the wall at the back of durnholde keep in hillsbrad, arathi highlands across a narrow bridge right after entering the zone from wetlands and in sundown marsh in the wetlands. A spawning alchemy vendor is in the ruins of alterac in hillsbrad.
What about the dress vendor in moonglade?
It always blew my mind people would pay 10 to 15 times more for an item that they can go get off a vendor, just to save a 10-15 minutes of running. I only started buying pets after I left WoW for an entire expansion (MOP), it was just to much to try and go back and farm all those dinosaurs. It always felt like cheating to buy a rare pet like an oozeling, I would much rather earn it and enjoy that rush of getting the drop. Nowadays I guess my mindset is outdated.
Time is money friend. Instead of farming a pet for 3 days I could sell gear runs and actually make money. It's basically personal choice on how you want to play the game. Man, that was ages ago tho. I'm impressed the game is still around

Funny story about that, I had planned on including it in the video, but then deiced against it when I found it it didnt sell any exclusive items and only sold stuff you could get in the order hall. Then later on I figured out the same was true of the hunter vendor as well, and then thought "ehh might as well leave it in" and forgot to re-add the shaman vendor to the list.
Really enjoyed the video. Never heard of Toogie, thought to myself hmmm I’m an engineer. Used wormhole generator and never seen the underground option before. And it was there. I got so excited. Lol.
There is also another quest specific vendor. When you are doing quest with the bloodscale buccaneers in the Cape of Stranglethorn. On one of the ships there is a pet vendor. I don't know if it sells items only he does, but definitely was interesting. And only available through the time while you are accepted among the buccaneers.
I got one. Stomper Kreeg.
This guy is initially a boss in the Vanilla dungeon Dire Maul North. However, it's possible to complete that dungeon without killing ANY bosses except King Gordok. Once you kill Gordok, all the ogres become Friendly, and Kreeg becomes a merchant.
Now, the only truly useful thing he sells is Volatile Rum. which is needed to make Goblin Rocket Fuel (Alchemy) or Banana Infused Rum (Pandarian Cooking). The only truly reliable vendor to get this from is Daisy at Thousand Needles. You can also get it from Dread Captain DeMeza (who's only present on Pirate's Day) and Shely Steelbowels (only appears in the Icecrown raid, only for Alliance.)
Kreeg also sells Gordok Green Grog (boosts stamina, but makes you drunk) , Kreeg's Stout Beatdown (increases Versatility but lowers Intellect) and Evermurkey and Molasses Firewater. All four of these are unique to him. Not too useful, but interesting.
There are 7 vendors who sell Friendship Bread and Freshly-Squeezed Lemonade. One of them is a weaponsmith who has other stuff for sale, but the other 6 only sell these two items. They are rare because their vendor window is only available if you turn in a quest item to them which was a rare drop from mobs during the Scourge invasion event.
There is a secret spawn vendor in Darkmoon Farie - I saw him by accident at the docks and when I accidently unclicked him he disappered , next I saw a guy searching for something and had to tell him the vendor was gone -sadly ( On a rpserver ) He was 30 sec to late -bad for him.
the two that you find on your way to the broken shore CAN be found in other parts of the map AFTER that quest. the horde one IS in the trolls starting area and the human guy is over by the guy that sells the alliance chopper in Old Town in Stormwind.
The tomes and what not are available from other vendors because they were out quite a bit before order halls were accessible. A bit before the pre patch Legion, I believe.

Unfortunately I am running across this years later... but there used to be one in Alterac Mountains that would sell a Frost Oil recipe. He was on the north wall of the Ruins of Alterac.
Though I am not sure if he is still in-game as I ahven't seen him in a long time.
Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock of the Argent Crusade is not in the Pally order halll. She is at Lights Hope which is above their order hall which is accessible to all toons and she has some rep requirements for some items.
She is by no means any where close to being a secret or hidden vendor since she has been in game since classic and the place she is at , Lights Hope Chapel is and has been a main quest hub for the area which at one time a end zone content . Her selling needed crafting patterns and much needed shoulder enchants for their time.
During this time did she sell a priest only toy? Nope. That's the secret.

The best way to get maximum discount is use a character with exalted reputation to buy the pets for your banker alt. It's better to use an alt that we don't play so we can keep him/her there to buy the pets for sell.
There was a vendor in hillsbrad, in the snowy place inside a shack before cataclysm. Don't know if he's still there, he was a dwarf. And in darkshire there's a vendor at raven hill in one of those ruined buildings, I think he's guarded by an elite.
There used to be a spot in dalaran bank near horde area where you can go out of the map, if you managed to get one of the potions in dalaran sewers where it had a chance to turn you into a bug it allowed you to fly indoors. now what you can do is inch carefully where Kaye is without touching the zone where it disconnects you from the game.

Knew all of them except the priest one. I would have expected The Amazing Zanzo to at least get a mention at the start (he's the mage equivalent of Cravitz Lorent, not exactly a _vendor,_ since he doesn't charge you any gold, just teaches the "Polymorph:Pig" spell if you ask nicely).
Also, the dark iron vendor in Blackrock Depths, who still sells some unique (or at least very rare) blacksmithing plans after you raise your reputation. And the alchemy vendor in Hillsbrad near the ogres. And Bolyun in Ashenvale, and... :P

I'd like to submit a correction. That Lenny McCoy vendor for the "Broken Shore Vendor" portion of the video can be found in Old Town next to the Champion's Treadblade vendor.

There’s a vendor behind a waterfall. Can’t remember which zone. She sells a pet.
There’s also a vendor that spawns on a wall in Hillsbrad, who sells some hard to get recipe.
And there’s a vendor that spawns in Winterspring over by the ghosts. Doesn’t sell anything special today (mostly just old mats). But he’s still a secret vendor.

Robert Close. But actually the vendor is Bro'kin in Ruins of Alterac. And he sells “Recipe: Frost Oil”. It used to be a really good gold maker on AH.

Lol I remember way back in either Vanilla or Burning I was in Stormwind doing something. I turned a corner just as Little Timmy spawned. Snapped up the cat and everyone in my guild freaked out at how lucky I had been!

its been a long while since I played WoW, but if anyone remember the one "defias trader/vender" in the westfall Inn, he was the ONLY member of the defias who was friendly to the player, OR the blind vender outside Gilneas who was friendly to Alliance AND Horde players!
