Not only the greatest live performer but the dude always kept his ticket prices crazy reasonable so that everyone could come along and groove, no matter what their background was. He didn't need the money, he just wanted to create amazing experiences. No one does that anymore.
seriously. i think about this all the time. he always did it for the love of music. and you can see how much he LOVED performing for this crowd in LA and giving them this gift of that experience. i can't think of an artist who is doing this today on this kind of scale.

Saw the show twice. $25. Seat right in the middle to watch this great performance. Now you pay $400-800. For a floor seat depending on the artist, for artists who don’t even come close to this man. RIP Prince.🙌🙌

Every single one was a celebration of life, love, music, and human genius. I miss him every day and feel blessed I could witness such a unique artist. I saw Prince live three times: Sign o`the times-, Lovesexy- and Nude-Tour. I was a teenager back then but still got all the precious moments he gave me watching him playing live in me. Live he was pure magic, he made the audience catch the universal moment. Nowadays, when I watch all the live stuff from him I time by time see some people in the audience, who are in such a moment. I can see their joy, their happiness, this "wtf is happening here" on their faces. This always brings me to tears, cause I know what they feel like and I`m so happy for them. Thx forever, dear Prince, for giving us all these special moments.... one luv 💜💜💜

I listen to other artists but then always come back home to Prince. No other artist or band will ever compare to a Live Prince Concert. The memories of attending his many live concerts will never fade.

I was very early in my radio career when Prince first hit the airwaves. I clearly remember being at the weekly "music meeting" when the programme director, music director, and any DJs who showed up got together to listen to new releases to decide whether to add them to the rotation and how we were all speechless at hearing him. The only other new artist who did something so different and unique to everything else on the radio was Dire Straits with "Sultans of Swing but Prince wowed us with every new record.

He definitely deserves more recognition in the best of the best. It is sad how their candels. Burn out before there time he was just getting warmed up.
