Merry Christmas to you, your family and to everyone at the centre and here's wishing you all a Happy New Year. 👍
First of all thanks to everybody working at the Heritage Centre including cleaners , office staff , cafe staff because without a team effort things don't move along . Neville your videos are brilliant to keep everybody who can't be there regularly or at all informed on the progress of Just Jane. Keep them coming and a good Xmas to everybody
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family Neville. Obviously wishing the same to all the crew at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. Thanks for all the uploads this year Neville. :-)
To Neville and all those dedicated to the restoration of Just Jane, I admire what you do and would love to have a Christmas beer with you all but I'm on the other side of the world. Merri Christmas to all.
Hi Nev a personal thanks from me, I look forward to the Saturday evening update, if it wasn't for your work people like myself would not be aware of how the project is progressing. your videos have helped greatly in the construction of my own Lancaster build although only at 1/32 scale. Thanks again Nev and merry Christmas and a happy new year...👌
The "Just Jane" Lancaster when it's completely rebuilt nut'n'bolt'n'rivet will be like a new aircraft, which could be the only flying example in the future😂
Thank you Neville for all your hard work and dedication in filming the progress of this fabulous project, really appreciate it, have a wonderful Christmas and new year.
Excellent video bro and a big thanks to the team videoing the nose cone removal. Safe travels over the festive season to you and all the guys doing the restorations. Ken. 🎄

Totally amazing to see the jacking and nose removal (although I did see the nose coming off on low res Hanger Cam) Such skill and patience, I applaud you all. Thanks to everyone involved and have a great Christmas break,
happy Christmas Nevil and the crew 🧑🎄, its great to see the lads helping out with your video updates , there are some very skillful and experienced chaps working on this restoration and doing a beltin job too 👌, keep it up lads , this is very addictive watching 👍

@peterlanglois65: Every part of this Lancaster has to stripped back to its individual component part and inspected for corrosion, once this has been inspected and reconstructed, replacing any part as required, the CAA will then pass it as air worthy. Remember this plane is 78 years old! Hence the very long restoration period.
You can only now appreciate how complex removing the nose section is ..... thanks to all. ......and this has been a Neville & Chris production " That's all folks" 😅😅
When I was a kid on squires gate in Blackpool next to the airport was I line of retired aircraft if I remember rightly a sabre a Lockheed Starfighter a Bolton and Paul defiant a chipmunk a Vulcan bomber and am I correct in thinking this is the Lancaster bomber that was amongst them.
I last visited LAHC in 98. Id understood The Rivets Appeal, then running, was going to put her up off the grass back then, I mean she could all but anyway yet, as ever, Whitehalls re-ruling cancelled matters out. Do 'they' want only BBMF up there?? By the time they've finished JJ will be more robust than any Lancaster that actually served.
To all the Guys and girls, who are on this project, "well done" its been a fantastic year of updates from our faithful friend Nev, i hope all of you can have a great few days off, over xmas,, and then, pull your bloody fingers out and get this bird back in the air!! (joke)
In black n white ww2 videos these bombers don't look so big until u actually stand next to them...the landing gear wheels are almost as big as a grown Adult..lol
Happy Christmas Neville. And thank you for all the interesting videos this year
Cheers Tony

is it expending tubes brakes on this thing , like on the B17? I don' t see any connection going to the wheel

Nice to see another Lancaster being prepared for airworthiness. Just wondering why the nose was swapped out?

Neville, quick one… who are the chief and deputy chief engineers Andrew mentioned in his update? He didn’t say who they were.
Wouldn’t it be good to see Just Jane and The City of Lincoln flying together again then the UK would have. Two Lancasters flying .
Very nice simon.
Great video Neville, please ask the guy with the cheap & nasty ultra noisy die grinder, to buy a decent one ! 13 mins in it's ruining your audio.
It’s a workshop not a film studio
Point noted mate.
Where do you buy quiet die grinders?

Hardly Whitehall’s rulings. The aircraft hasn’t been in an airworthy condition since June 1970.
Thanks for your comment.
