  • In April of 2024 a team of missionaries stepped out in faith from their homes in Jacksonville, Florida in order to serve on mission in the country of Panama.1
500 miles from their homes they served at an orphanage in a remote part of Panama that gives young girls who were the victims of sex trafficking and abuse a safe supportive place to grow up, learn life skills, worship, and raise their children. The reach of Manos de Fe doesn’t stop there, however, as they provide food, education, after-school, and church programs for the surrounding community and its most in-need residents as well.
For many of the missionaries this was their first time ever serving on mission. For some, it was their first time leaving the United States. For all of them it was a step of Faith in following the teachings, and examples, set for us by Jesus Christ.
‪@TheChurchofEleven22‬ sends missionaries to dozens of countries around the world, each year. Often, Pastors from the church teach us that the path to mission trips should mirror the discipleship journey of the Apostles - that after having spent 3 years following and being taught by Jesus, they too were then sent out to carry the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the world. As you watch this video pay attention to how many years the missionaries say they’ve been attending Eleven22.
For me, this mission trip was a momentous answer to prayer. My life had gone through some major upheavals, and with all of those changes I found myself drifting in my Faith. Unable to find a place to serve because of my schedule I prayed to God to make a place for me to serve him. I prayed for the time, and for the resources, and for a direction toward service. Seemingly all at once I was offered a new job, with better pay, and a much better schedule that would allow me to serve on mission trips. The day that I received my official schedule - was the same day the mission trips calendar for 2024 was published. I could not mistake that as a clear sign of what direction I was being sent by God.
Going into this project I had no idea of what the outcome of filming would be. I did not think that a typical “NickGoesFar'' travel style vlog would really do justice to the work we were doing in Panama. Fortunately God stepped in there as well and helped to shape a mission trip, a mission team, and now this mission video. It is my hope that this video reaches every end of the earth, and that through it God speaks to everyone who sees it - but ultimately if it simply helps just ONE MORE person find Jesus then it will have served its purpose. If only ONE MORE viewer decides today to sign up for and go on a mission trip, then it will have served its purpose.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and believe that He is my personal Lord and Savior.

Who is Nick Henderson, and what is NickGoesFar?! Originally from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, I have been traveling the world since I was 3 years old, and have led a fairly uncommon life ever since. Now, I'm a commercial pilot flying in the United States, a full-time nomad and traveler. NickGoesFar was originally "The Roaming Pilot", a travel blog where I would share my adventures, tips on expat life, and photography. As I leapt headfirst into content creation, film making, and wanted to be able to share with more people - a change was needed, and after a few iterations I landed here. I am incredibly grateful that years of hard work allow me to continue doing something I love, seeing the world and immersing myself in it. 😊🎥🌎

Thanks for the video Nick. Great to see all of the work being done in Jesus' name. Your folks share this video to me and actually I was kind of surprised I did not see a pop-up ad for "A Place for Mom" 😂

Thank you, my brother, for creating this video! I'm very proud of you for your being on this mission trip. The video is so very professional produced. You have a calling there when you finally decide to hang up your wings in 50 years.
