Hahaha I was wondering what drink it was …and if it was really alcohol in there!!! Or just for show but now he has an alcohol problem so must have been real Hahaha
I JUST HEARD THESE GUYS FOR THE FIRST TIME I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAY THESE GUY'S ARE AWESOME WAY AFTER MY TIME I WAS RAISED IN THE SEVENTIES...WELL I'AM NOT THAT FAR AHEAD...LOL..
Having just watched a retrospective documentary featuring Ben and Chris it’s weird seeing the drinking on stage due to how much it eventually hurt them. Proper rock ‘n’ roll if you can pull it off yet it’s sad it took such a toll. 😢
Grunge isn't dead as long as there is people that hear it and either remember the whole time period and can reminisce about good times or people that can recognize what bands were doing by steering away from the way traditional rock was and creating a whole new sound.

Why can't people just sit back and enjoy music. Whatever it is. Whatever style. Whoever makes it. It's whatever you want it to be. Stop bitching about it or telling people the way they feel about it is wrong.
I agree that that's what started the end of grunge. All the good bands were changing from that point on. The nail on the coffin may have been Staley's death...
You're thoughts are yours and yours alone. :) With Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains still actively around, I don't see how Grunge could be "dead". How, while it's "big three" are still alive and kicking? But you are completely on the mark on one thing: Grunge was a movement, maybe made popular by it's music, but so much more than just the songs. Plus, while at least some of us still carry "Grunge" in their hearts, it will never be completely dead. :)
Cmon it’s a stretch to say Soundgarden and Alice in Chanins “are still around” no what is happening is the left of those bands are without a front man and a paycheck, and the fans are left in nostalgia mode so they will go see them, give the band mates a paycheck in trade for reliving the past, it’s one shade better than a tribute band, but not too far. The litmus test is how many of their songs are original vs written by Layne or Chris, I’m pretty sure the sets are 75% oldies (we are talking songs 20-30 yrs old) because that is what will but pay the bills….Pearl Jam is still together and doing legacy tours, which is a cash grab to play the hits (metallica same) until the fans won’t show up anymore
i think the grunge as we knew it is maybe 'dead' but i think that its influence on other bands, and whatever elements that are taken from it will be seen in the future...just as punk was.
I'm sorry but grunge is long gone dead dude. It's dead since 1994. I love this shit. I love Silverchair and this concert rocks ! Thanks a lot for posting. But 'grunge'.. it is dead. I know that's sad but it's true..
Grunge was not a style of music but a movement actually. Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Melvins.. Do they really sound similar ? I don't think so. Each have different sounds and a little different taste in their music. But I must agree with you about the "evolution of music". Nothing stays the same on this planet. However, that still doesn't change my thoughts on grunge being dead. Cheers !
I think he looks Jesus-y. haha. There is a pic of him in this get up holding a teddy bear and I laugh every time I see it! He is known for a great sense of humor and I think this is part of it. (Unless it's really something else I am not aware of)
Please tell me you're kidding. Cobain was "the spirit" of grunge? And what about Pearl Jam / Vedder, Soundgarden / Cornell, AliceInChains / Cantrell / Staley, Melvins, and the dozens of other bands? Yes, Cobain and Nirvana were part of it, important, ok, but to simplify Grunge = Cobain = Grunge is really, really wrong.
Not true. No style of music is just "dead". Music evolves, in the worst of cases a style changes so dramatically that you can no longer recognize it. But grunge and dead? Absolutely not.
Unfortunately, I must agree with you. Even during his darkest days, his voice and performance were fucking flawless and a lot more passionate. He might be healthy here for which I'm incredibly glad, but his performance is lacking. And that facial hair is really not doing it for me.
he was drinking Pirassununga 51 from Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!
love these guys!
kisses to all here from brazil.
Hahaha I was wondering what drink it was …and if it was really alcohol in there!!! Or just for show but now he has an alcohol problem so must have been real Hahaha
Love these guys and will forever remember them.
Banda foda demais!....

A trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Jeremias Patrick Yea, been using Flixzone} for months myself =)

'Emotion Sickness' is half the show. LOL great show!
Look at their performances from '97....massive difference...they had so much power in their playing before...
Ten years. Holy shit
Now 20.
issaê!
They need to do a reunion tour soon. I don't think they should make any new music though.
Sounds like the vocals and other instruments are way quieter than the fkn piano.
Heyhey, are u silverchair fan?

Thank you. Well said man!:)

music is not just music. music have your own spirit.
Kurt Cobain was the grunge's spirit and if him died, grunge's die to.
There's no better Silverchair album than Neon Ballroom
diorama is just as great, if not better
They’re both amazing.

what's the first song ?
Emotion Sickness.
Lo malo es que nunca saludo en el Idioma del lugar que iba, Aleman en este caso, o Portugues en otro, o Español tambien. eso lo aleja del publico
He's drinking Cachaça! Hahahahaha... xD

Also, he really went in an Adult Contemporary direction...like these songs would come on the radio after U2 or Nickleback or Daughtry or something.
I think its portragese... something about shows starting with slow songs are really cool? I dunno

says the dude that looks like mexican elvis...
GUITARRA DEU PAU NO COMEÇO!
What is he wearing
? q?
whats with the need to talk like an American in between songs??
Is he wearing a dress?
I don't fuckin' understand what you're sayin'.
never
Last style could be more mature and all. But gosh lets accepted, is boring for a live show. This is more for a theater to watch sitting.
Is he wearing a...skirt?
the fuck?
In the first 40 minutes they have performed their worst songs, good work

You’re daft.
incredibly, unspeakably GAY!
