I can't imagine many people with hardtails going to that particular bike park, it would interesting to see the variation in a more moderate bike park.

Joe, 100% agree that would be an interesting look actually, i think the Athertons bike park is obviously moulded around their unique style and good on them tbh, however "meanwhile back on the ranch" most parks cater for a broader spectrum of riding i think you would see a totally different result. Another thing that would be interesting would be cost.... what sort of prices to use the park against what sort of bike you would see..... i know this sounds nuts but i see a LOT more enduro and trails bikes on home made tracks .... Rivington is near me and has a huge amount of trails and tracks all made by local guys and gals and the aray of bike is unreal from top end trails bike to to cheap 26er DH bikes .... i guess because its a free venue everyone is willing to have a bash hence they grab what they can ..... which in all honesty is a good thing. Good comment mate

I use my Enduro bike for almost everything, it's 180 up front and 170 rear travel. A real good compromise between Trail and DH and lets you do 'normal' riding with ease too.

I run a 170/150 enduro/all mountain setup for everything. It’s a decent compromise and lets me ride to the best of my ability while descending without risking bending my cranks or the damper rod in my fork like on my old “xc” hardtail (120mm up front on that bike)

Crazy to see the differences in bike choice. For most German/Austrian/Swizz bikeparks i have been to it seems to be the dtc brands dominating. Mostly Cannyon, Propain, Commencal and YT but then again a lot of Specialized and Santa Cruz aswell.

I personally prefer a 27.5 or a mixed wheel size, having a 29er for close to 2 years, I’ve established that 29ers aren’t for me as I have gone through 6 rear wheels and managed to bend every single one of them within 2 weeks and I have ridden 27.5 bikes which I feel are easier to throw about and despite riding them just as hard if not harder than a 29er I’ve never bent a wheel so my next bike will be a 27.5

Interesting, I live in NZ where there are plenty of bike parks and you don't see that many downhill bikes at all, most people ride trail or enduro bikes, personally I ride a 120mm 29er, and it handles the bike parks just fine, in fact I don't think I'm any slower on it than I was on my previous bike, a trek slash.

It is a small Finnish brand so it is not so widely known. Like the idea of fully CNC machined frame as it is probably more long lasting than welded one and high pivot design is also nice but otherwise seems that they try to do a bit too much on a different way than other brands. Pricing is also really high compared to other brand, which is obvious due to unique frame and small production numbers.

Awesome Bike, congratulation! It's always better to be a little under-biked instead of over-biked the entire time. You will become a way-better biker if you start on a hart-tail. You can do a-lot with that bike, (maybe with a ground control t7 front, fast trak t7 rear). And when you go on a bike just rent a Enduro with all that money saved ( Specialized had some amazing bike deal recently). Or take your bike and pick the lines that work for you 😊.

This bike was really easy to assemble ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Not really cheaters since most can't go past 20 mph. In most places that will require you to have a license if you own any bike with a motor that goes past 20 mph regardless if it has pedals or not. So almost all E-bikes with pedals are limited to 20 mph or below by the manufacturer. E-bikes are pointless on downhill tracks.

*Pointless when there are lifts, I agree. Not pointless where there are no lifts and climbing is required to ride downhill. So an eMTB is priceless where there are no lifts.
