I felt stupid for driving all the way from Cincinnati to NYC just to see FNM... but looking back it was an great decision. It's still the only time I've seen them and I don't think they have played anywhere closer since then. Plus I got to see the show with my high school buddy (who was living in brooklyn at the time) that got me into them in the first place. I was also afraid they would be old and put on a weak show... ha! No... the show was pretty awesome. I don't think Mike Patton is aging.
Just want to say thank yo for doing this....awesome job. These two shows were absolutely incredible and it brings a tear to my everytime i watch these clips because I think there's a chance I may never see them again....but then again from the footage from other shows....I just may be able to see them again....yay
Thanks for posting this anyway. I was there too. My first (hopefully not last?) time seeing them live even though I have been a fan since the 80's. Excellent concert!
I was at that show! One of the best! And saw Fantomas when the first album came out! They played all of the first album straight through with hardly any breaks, then at the end did a 20 minute Slayer medley and the whole place turned into a huge mosh pit, then they just threw there instruments down and walked off stage with no encore. Haha, good times
I flew from southern Illinois to Brooklyn for one day just to see this. I was going to go to Europe for one day to catch it if they hadnt announced US dates.
I ran into this dude Tom from NJ at this show, he was a cool guy. I happened to meet him on a cruise with his wife a couple years prior to this, he sang FNM during Karaoke night. LOL. Tom, if you happen to read this, drop a line and say what's up! ;)
Sweet, it was a great show-FNM came out swinging despite the heat. Found a great spot up front by Roddy just before Hamburger came out to introduce the band and could see them milling about on the sidestage waiting to come out.
Just to let everyone know: I've got nothing to do with the advertising and I'm sorry it's there. EMI claimed copyright within hours of this being posted and slapped ads on. They took something I meant to be free and slapped a price tag on it, to the detriment of everyone but themselves.
Wow, hadn't realize how long it's been. I was here for this, I eventually just stood in the back on a bench due to all the pushing. But it was a very good concert otherwise. You don't expect people to get so physical during a damn FNM concert. LOL.
@Scratch47 Huh? I wasn't listening... (jk I can't smoke weed everrrrrr again... but I do like half a beer or a couple white russians from time time time time...Tom? Wait! SH-
The early 90's were the best , I'd easily go back to being 20 again .

Been there with my brothers. Watching in 2021.
Me too 2024. I’m still sick from the heat
I was at this show. I knew we were in for a good one when Patton threw that mic stand at 6:06

I'm staying real late to watch this. FNM is my absolute favorite band.
I ran into this dude Tom from NJ at this show, he was a cool guy. I happened to meet him on a cruise with his wife a couple years prior to this, he sang FNM during Karaoke night. LOL.
Tom, if you happen to read this, drop a line and say what's up! ;)
The setlist is great!
Great show!
My friend was the tall guy with the pink glasses.

I totally dig the suits.
At the 4:20 mark you can hear someone say "how many blunts did you bring? That's crazy"
Peter Hanes More like 4:18, but close enough :)
Goddamn, I love Neil Hamburger.
