So I understand that Models are now saved to the SD card with EdgeTX, but when updating EdgeTX (2.10 in my case), will my global functions carry over or will they need to be backed up or recreated? Edit: Will all setting in general carry over?
O thank god.. JB . I’ve watched all 3 there so far big thank you. I’ve come from the DJI controller and want to update to the boxer crush after hearing how good it is. But for a newbie it’s a mine field but very interesting. I’ve updated the software edge and express les which drone and controller are on 3. Something. The signal is popping up on the controller for the drone. Drone keeps beeping. If anyone see this I would be grateful. Hope it will get covered in future video . Thanks
@@danburke5417 hey thanks for getting back to me. On the boxer and the drone there both update to express lrs version 3. Something but it’s the same on both. The drone is Pavo pico v2 . When I turn on both . The controller read the drone and it shows the signal on the drone on the main screen. But the drone keeps beeping. Underneath the drone the green and blue light is on. When I hit the switch on the controller the voice on the controller comes on and it armed . The first switch two way. Plus when I connected it to beta flight it doesn’t read it either on the controller side. Sorry in a new newbie it’s all a learning curve
Reminder: Upgrading from versions of EdgeTX earlier than v2.6 (or from OpenTX) is no longer possible via the radio firmware (this does not affect Companion). You first need to update to EdgeTX 2.8 to migrate your radio and model settings, and then you can update to the current version. See the Installing and Updating EdgeTX manual page for further information.
Thanks, just received a new Radiomaster Pocket. FWIW installed firmware is VERS: RM Factory (1fdb58be) dated 2023-07-27 sooo, hard to know if the radio needs to be updated. What version that actually is? Also I can confirm that Mac needs to use Chrome browser.
Are you releasing a video for the new gopro hero 2024 any time soon (13 mini)? Im torn between this and the 11 mini as a first buy. I can pick up the mini for less brand new currently. Although even with higher specs across everything, ive heard so many horror stories about it freezing up or the battery dying. I can deal with the extra effort of no screen, I used to setting up the thumb pro, so gopro labs would be just fine for me. An unreliable camera though I will lose my **** quickly 😂 What's your take for the best light weight gopro/action cam for 2024/2025?

Simply copying the content from the original SD-card to a new one did not work for me. I had to use a disk imager software to make it work.

Your drone is beeping? sounds like it could be many different things. we would need more information

All tho I'm familiar with edge TX I can still learn more. I got an MT 12 and this is also helpful to program that radio as well.
