Always thought this was a good design for Storm Shadow (especially compared to some of the rest of Ninja Force) and they translated it well here. Personally, I'm fine with reused parts as long as the reuse makes sense.
I am sorry but these new figures suck. The design of the figures is just ridiculous. If they had the articulation of the vintage they would be awesome. I think people buy these because of their love for G I Joe and this all that is offered. But that is my opinion and not everyone's.

interesting about the movie figure . as far as I recall they where sold as being a 6" figure line also despite the minor height difference . they did something similar with Star wars with black series and those other 6" 5POA figures
It sucks this figure is way too much. I'm glad I caught it on pre-order. I really like this figure. The lack of total storage is very minimal to me. I can excuse it ha ha. The grappling hook is a nice addition. I guess even though it's a "good guy" uniform, you can still display the classic Storm/Snake battle.
These make me mad where are the file cards .instead we get symbols. I mean as a kid I would read those file cards and told me what the figure would do .
I think they went with Arctic as a exclusive cause had it been regular SS people would been giving out about how hard it was to get . since there is a more V1 inspired version on the way and mass retail it probably was the better option as unless your a completest you could leave out the amazon one
I like the figure but he should have been issued after the original Storm Shadow figure was done. I use my Classified figures in dioramas so his loose arrow and sickle are sticking out of Red Ninjas. Storage problem solved.

I picked up the storm shadow reaction figure today I didn’t know they were out until I saw some at target they did a really good job on them
I was gonna pass on the movie SS, but you just convinced me to get him… for the accessories and belt.

I dont like those white spike thingy painted on his cheat/ upper abdoment area, otherwise, not bad. The hood is a fav of mine.

I have always loved Strom Shadow. He is the Boba Fett of G.I. Joe! Loving the all accessories. Liking this figure.
I have a deluxe boba Fett now I want the original storm shadow coming soon in the summer.

I was annoyed with the intermittent painting. Some details get painted some don't. Similar to beach head,why?
All of those unpainted weapons look really cheap and tacky, especially leaving the arrow white whilst all the others are painted.

I only do vintage so don't have any Classified, but I might have to get the Spirit one, that looks really nice. Great review as ever!
