    Great Vid!
For me most of the out of the box patches are sound fairly mediocre, but those 3 selfmade ones are just badass!

the best thing to use this effect is to connect send and return with jumper, then you can get clean bass signal bypassing the effect chain

Can you show us how to create the custom patches that were demoed, please? BTW, helpful review and I'm liking the Matribox II more than my Zoom B2 four. If it had XLR outputs, it would of replaced my Zoom when gigging.

I don't think most of us bass players are going to be clamoring for this unit but thanks for reviewing it anyway, cheers!

of course your created patch "LOVEGUN" was played on the Gene bass -( wait what's that gold pickguard bass? Rex?) ;) that's a nice warm & fuzzy tone for sure, love it!

But why not spend a little extra and get the small headrush?

Or the full Headrush Prime. It's amazing for bass.

The bassist at my church refuses to play though an amp or a modeler. I'm buying this and will force him to use it.

The average bass player will not have a different bass for each demonstrated setting. This would have been more realistic if the same bass was used to demo each setting. Nice product, but using a different bass with each setting can be misleading.

Did you use any amps? Or is it connected directly online?

So dude plays Sledgehammer but the sound isn't from the track. Octaver + chorus, guys, is this so hard to get?

Why did I just buy a zoom b2 four???
The zoom is very cool but I like the interface on this so much more

@@thierry18I think Zoom is really missing out by not including IR loaders, in any of their new multi fx..

your own patches sound way better than the preset ones, the presets sound kinda sad tbh

  • @lenkybasscustombassguitars9381

Does it have a XLR DI output ?

    • @TheBassChannel
      @TheBassChannel  Рік тому +1

No XLR, but the 1/4" output jacks can use either unbalanced or balanced/TRS cables.
