Man if you can only imagine if you spent 6 years with a son in that world and have to end it all like that, that's devastating. It's real feelings, real memories. Sometimes dreams can feel real and your mood is different that day.
Imagine being Logain who is wanting to d!e because he's been cut off from the One Power, being asked by a man who still can touch it "how can I stop it?"😂 That was a messed up question
My second fave episode so far (E5 is now my favourite) gut wrenching episode and enjoyed the reaction. Oh btw you are right she shouldnt be able to channel in the arches, she broke the test and opened the arches herself. The dream was real to her.
Not sure if you noticed but the creepy violent armor people speak with American accents... They have a slight Southern twang which, from what book readers have told me, is a book accurate detail.
The scene between Rand and Selene it's most likely a dream because immediately he's suddenly in different clothing. He had changed out of the red coat into the blue outfit probably didn't change back just to come home and then change into the blue after
Just caught up for this season, forgot you called him Alan which is hilarious lol. This season has been really good so far, the look, the beats and the character development. I think they are starting to find their pace after the beginning introduction to the world has now been done in season 1. WoT is a really complex world lore/history wise so there is so much more to come too, I love watching the takes of folks that this is their first experience with it.
The reason that Nyneave has to strip down to enter the arches is because the more protected a person is when they enter, the higher their likelihood of death/stilling/ disappearance is.
I think it's important to remember that the other name that Ishmael has in the show is... The father of lies... So you can kind of expect a LOT of what he says to just not be true information... So yeah when he told Perrin that the more wolf he is the more Perrin is his.... He was lying. I also think he was lying when he told Min that she WOULD work for him in her dream. There's no way for him to know with absolute certainty whether she will work for him or not... but he is trying to manipulate her into working for him... Of course he would state it like it were a fact... In reality she still deciding whether or not to listen and work with him at that point.
So Uno didn't die in the books, and he's a fan favorite so a lot of book readers are at the very least sad about this. It does get the point across very quickly, though, that these people are bad mojo. That coat that Rand wears to the party is *chef's kiss*. Ripped straight from the books (the covers even!), although the circumstances are a bit different. He looks great in it and I love it. I do think that Nynaeve's fakeout death was drawn out a bit long, but then I knew full well that she was going to live. I'm glad to see that even a show only fan felt the same. I will say that I loved the trials, though. I would watch multiple trips through the arches, I think the concept is very cool.
Little advice. Your video will get lost in the algorithm when you release it at the same time that most fans will be watching the new episode. I like your videos, I dont want them to get lost. Aim for a couple hours before the new episodes air. Thats when fans will be desperate for wot content and you'll get more views as they use you to wait for the new episode.
Technically you're not wrong about Lan. His full name is Al'Lan Mandragoran (in the same way Rand, Nynaeve and Egwene's last names are Al'Thor, Al'Maera, and Al'Vere respectively) so he is technically an Allan.
His name is Lan. In the borderlands "al" is a prefix indicating that someone is a lord; it precedes the given name. In the Two Rivers "al" is part of the surname and means "son of".
Just checking that you realize Ny is not more powerful than the Forsaken or Rand. They said she is the most powerful channeler the Tower has seen in a thousand years or so, but the Tower has not seen much. I think it was in the last episode that Moiraine said to Lan that next to Forsaken they are like tavern magicians or something. Not to mention the Tower does not know the Dragon is reborn, it's still a secret. Obviously the Dragon's thing is that he is THE most powerful channeler. I feel like the show might have confused the audience a bit on this in these initial four episodes lol.
What Ishamael is talking about with Perrin may become more clear if they add in a scene from the books in the future. Elyas isn't the only path a wolf brother could follow. Also Selene can only see his power as an end result if he does something with it. The weaves are for the audience or other male channelers to see. When a woman channels only us and other women channelers can see.
It was real to Nyneave. She spent 6 years living in that reality.

I was about to say the same damn thing.
The funny thing about Uno's death scene is that the woman that was talking the whole time is portrayed by the wife of the guy that portrayed Uno!!😂
Uno want the horn and Uno get the horn :( ... R.I.P
@@paulsiskin7140we pour one out for Uno. We pour one out for the real ones.
@@paulsiskin7140and now uno is a hero of the horn

I think the Rand and Selene scene was a dream because he was channeling fire in the dream and woke up actually channeling fire and set the inn ablaze.
Things being dreams and things actually happening are not mutually exclusive in this world. :D

Nyneave - our Queen of the Impossible!

The Superman story you're thinking of is called "For the Man Who Has Everything."
poor Patches O'Houlihan - gone too soon!
27:08 it was real to Nynaeve. Remember she exits with wounds. This isn’t a dream. It’s an alternate reality test.
I love listening to your reactions. I am a long time book reader and love hearing your take on this series. I love both the books and the series.😊

And to show that they're not armed with anything.
C'mon luscious hair!

Omg ep 5 was amazing

Good idea, and then you don’t have to rush to get it out quick either. Relax and enjoy 😍

Well... not in the *same* way, precisely. In Lan's case, the Al' prefix added to his first name is a Malkieri designation of royalty.

Oh I know that. I just meant she's the strongest in the tower
13:42 you may want to blur out that death, or YT might flag your video
If it happened in a dream, does that mean it didn't happen or it did?
