That trailer is for splicing together fiber optic cables. They start the cable through the square hole in the front, splice two cables together on the bench, then they more the trailer forward to the next end of cable. The truck that pulls the trailer has a big spool of cable sitting in the back of it.
could turn that AT&T rig into one hell of a mobile mechanic shop. Room for a tire machine and balancer, lotta test equipment, bearing press, brake lathe, etc. All with onboard power. A guy like Weird Beard could turn that into a moneymaker with what he knows.
Those Rubber insulated gloves are for lineman. Like the guys whom mess with high voltage or on the power lines. They put those on then they put leather gloves on top of them. The reason the belt is hanging is because the buckle can be considered a conductor. Not sure as far as the truck, but I used to change out electric metets.
"shore power" = they'll run a power cable to power and operate the equipment from a local power source rather than run on the generator. TV live trucks and production trucks do the same thing (I ran one for years)
Jeep Renegade.. for $350 buy it now, I say go for it! Fix the ignition problem and replace the fender flares... hopefully that'll be all she needs... a steal!
The 1st vehicle, the At&t fird E450 appears to be a work vehicle with its own workshop & power inside of it & its own generator, THATS AWESOME! Its an electricians work truck! Any mechanic, electrician, or or any person who works, woukd love to have that E450 super Duty!!!
Randy, I have the E 350 with the Triton V-10. When you started it, it was like starting my van. Mine has over 215000 miles on it. That truck would be an easy convert to a camper. Already has the generator so, wouldn't need much. That panel was to start the generator. I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I had the cash.
That E-450 has potential for either a stealth camper, or even a mobile mechanic's service vehicle. Pop in an air compressor in there, and you can literally do tire change overs on the roadside.
like you said in the end of the video about finding big luxury vehicles i would go with a mid to late 80's lincoln town car or my favorite the mid to late 80's lincoln continental 4 door
That at@t van is used on the side of the road for putting. Up fiber optic cable and splicing it together.why it as the door holes going out side you have probably drove by them before just never notice. They move down the road splicing cable
With the jeep liberty I have fixed an issue like that and it was the ignition actuator which is located under the steering column right under the ignition I forget how much the part was but it is an easy fix. I had the fix done with 15 minutes
Randy, the ignition switch and key barrel is a cheap and easy fix. I had a similar problem with my Concorde where the key just fell out. The switch is mounted under the column behind the key barrel. The barrel easily pops out by a locking keyway. Other symptoms of a failing ignition switch is the transmission will suddenly go into limp mode or accessories like cooling fans, radio, or blower will stay running.
Not sure but I think the At&T truck is a command vehicle where when Tornadoes or floods happen they send them out to put telephone lines are other lines back in service. It's like a office on wheels.
Stinger still sold for a good savings over a new one. Might have been that the it was left running at a convenience store for a quick purchase. In some states (Arizona, I believe) a vehicle is reported stolen and recovered even just an hour later, it is now a theft recovery title.
Randy: The Audi Q3 is the most recent vehicle that I rented defined by the fact that it pisses through gasoline like a winded race horse; further inflaming my frustration, I could not get any straight answers about why this is. About the most exertion I demanded of the Q3 is that it cruise on the highway at 80 mph and accelerate to 90-105 mph to overtake an articulated commercial truck which it did . . . only to constantly end up low on fuel all the time.
I have a 3.7 Jeep Liberty and its the easiest running most reliable little vehicle I've had.....I know Chrysler has had issue with ignition switches, I haven't had any issues myself though.
On the Liberty, you can pull the starter relay and jump the terminals tp crank it. Its the ignition switch actuator and common failure on these. I have one but its a CRD (diesel)
The ignition switch on the these Jeeps are plastic and break when old. I had the same thing happen to me with my 98 Cherokee. Easy and cheap fix. I think the part itself cost like $25.
Like the Kia very much. Do not think you will lose buying this car. The car bid will be increased to buy the car from your competitors. Good video. Enjoyed this walk around.
This truck would be awesome for someone who wants to become self-employed. You know, a mobile workshop. Put a welder in there, tools, common parts and you can fix someone's garden equipment.
I test drove a new 2013 MKS. I loved the power it had with the Ecoboost and all wheel drive, but the trunk didn't line up with the tail light and couldn't think of spending over $800,000 pesos for a car that would bug me each time I looked at it, so I passed. I look for them used on our version of Ebay, and none are for sale, so that tells you how many they actually sold in Mexico, which is to say almost none.
You should let copart know the stinger has someone luggage in it, I would want the luggage and baby items back to the right owner. Do the right thing Randy
The Kia is 6 months old and has 26,000 miles on it. How does that happen? The wheels threw me on the Stinger. In Mexico if the Stinger has those wheels, it is a 6 cylinder twin turbo, so I am surprised it has a 4 cylinder. Randy, according to the Auto Check report, the car was issued a Theft Title at 22 miles on the 19th of June. That means whoever stole it put all those miles on it and did have the oil change done. Weirder things have happened, but not many. The car was recovered on the 3rd of September and a new title was issued.
Randy, the Auto Check report on that Ford box van says it had a smog test in 2010 at 124,000 miles, so somebody has messed with that thing. It might have been a mistake but who knows.
On the subject of the Kia Stinger, it may have been used as a "demonstrator vehicle" by one of the salespeople. I used to work at a few dealerships and some of them had salespeople drive certain models so that they could be sold later at a discount (a "demo").
Is it because you have to move the steering wheel to start the jeep? Is the wheels straight? Some vehicles you have to have the steering wheel straight or sometimes you can move the wheel and try to start it at the same time, It may work.
That seat on the at&t van is from years of guys climbing in with tool still in back pocket
Genset is Generator. The truck is used for working in Utility holes.
yup exactly, it runs air circulating equipment etc...
The four banger Stinger is a fun car I got a great deal on a leftover 2019 this year and really enjoy it.

They start the cable through the square hole in the front, splice two cables together on the bench, then they more the trailer forward to the next end of cable. support van for manhole work, electric power for work lights etc. should also supply ac and fresh air supply for tunnel work
Im freaking getting addicted to your videos randy!! DO NOT leave UA-cam for anything :)
Jeep Renegade.. for $350 buy it now, I say go for it! Fix the ignition problem and replace the fender flares... hopefully that'll be all she needs... a steal!

Van is for cable connection work, that’s why the cutout in door so connections can be made inside van ,cables, fiber optic!

I still remember that kia stinger that you walked around like two years ago.. It's been a while!!
Would love to see you get the stinger and the Jeep renegade.
I'd turn that electric company truck and turn in into a camper
I was thinking the exact thing. Already fitted out with power outlets.
Perfect camper start.
That ATT like if it was used to fix fiber optic cables
My cousin works for AT&T and yes those are used to repair fiber optic lines when they get broke
I SAY THE SAME --- YOU PULL THE CABLES IN THE BACE THREW THE HOLE IT IS TESTED AND THE IN AND OUT IS MEASRED AND THEN FUSED AND WRAPED TO WEATHER
that att truck would be good for something! actually maybe convert into a rv
lol
The Stinger is the best looking Kia they made, quite a mean looker
Love the Stinger she would look great all cleaned up. 👍
That E-450 has potential for either a stealth camper, or even a mobile mechanic's service vehicle. Pop in an air compressor in there, and you can literally do tire change overs on the roadside.
The GT Stinger is the V6. This is a GT Line Stinger, which is really a body kit.
40. are you kidding. I can't even remember when I was 40. LOL.
i also can't remember when i was 40, because i'm 32
like you said in the end of the video about finding big luxury vehicles i would go with a mid to late 80's lincoln town car or my favorite the mid to late 80's lincoln continental 4 door
Yup, agreed with the others who mentioned the AT&T van was a mobile fiber optic cutting and repair vehicle.
That at@t van is used on the side of the road for putting. Up fiber optic cable and splicing it together.why it as the door holes going out side you have probably drove by them before just never notice. They move down the road splicing cable

The Triton v10 does have the advantage of not having variable valve timing so no cam phasers to fail.
Not sure but I think the At&T truck is a command vehicle where when Tornadoes or floods happen they send them out to put telephone lines are other lines back in service. It's like a office on wheels.
Rolling mancave/limo type truck or convert to camper! That things gotta lot of life left! I've seen triton v10s with 350k!
That at&t van is a fiber optic repair vehicle, used to fix fiber optic obtic wires that damaged somehow
I’m guessing a fiber optic repair truck.
Great start to a custom camper.
The Ford truck is a camper in waiting, solid build, and a decent strong engine, that's a good money making project
Should check out that orange neon to the front left of the Lincoln, it's either a sxt or srt4 with that big hoop spoiler
Niteninja 01- I agree... eevn though its a Neon.... most dont know about the Neon SRT-4 with the supercharged engine 4cyl!!
@@briangallagher9426 it wasn't supercharged they were turbocharged
Stinger still sold for a good savings over a new one. Might have been that the it was left running at a convenience store for a quick purchase. In some states (Arizona, I believe) a vehicle is reported stolen and recovered even just an hour later, it is now a theft recovery title.
How much did it sell for?
I have almost the same Lincoln. Mines a 2013 AWD EcoBoost 108K. Love the thing. Fast!
Randy killin it on the daily 🙌🏻
AT&T truck was possibly used by the fiber optics maintenance teams. Has all the setup for it.
Randy:
The Audi Q3 is the most recent vehicle that I rented defined by the fact that it pisses through gasoline like a winded race horse; further inflaming my frustration, I could not get any straight answers about why this is. Randy yes I have experienced on that before my Cadillac coupe deville was like that
Cool and better cars at the sublot... good video Randy...
Jeep - the PARK indicator remained in place when you moved it to neutral. Maybe it thinks its not in P hence it wont start.
I have one but its a CRD (diesel)
lol
Great video Randy! I appreciate all your hard work.
That AT&T truck would be a good mobile generator if you lose power at the shop, no car trapped in the lift
GT-line. Not significant lol. Just saying it wrong. The GT IS the one people want.
I had the same problem with my liberty, I just tapped the key in with a pair of pliers/hammer. Started right up and Never had the problem again .
You could clear the inside out the at&t ford e450 the use it for hauling parts or maybe a little car hauling
Let’s goo!!!!! I hope all is well randy!! Stay safe bro!!! 😁😁
That truck was a telecommunications service truck, obviously to service fibre optic cables. Or splice them.
Love the 6.8 v10. It's a great motor.
Omm seems like he has a lot of energy this video
Randy, im 22 and bought a super low mileage Town Car Ultimate L, large luxury cars are the best.
like the MKS also, getting older too, im 42. i find myself looking at 17-18 Buick Lacrosse to drive when not driving my 19 Camaro SS.
This truck would be awesome for someone who wants to become self-employed. You know, a mobile workshop. Put a welder in there, tools, common parts and you can fix someone's garden equipment.
I drove a 2001 dakota with the 4.7 v8 and I had 240k when someone pulled out on front of me. Truck still ran great and threw cold air...
aftermarket fender flairs are reasonable for the jeep liberty
love the content Randy you sam and a few others made me want to start a channel and get into rebuilds
I really really hope you win that kia stinger !
Just wiggle the steering wheels then turn the key...🤘
I test drove a new 2013 MKS. I loved the power it had with the Ecoboost and all wheel drive, but the trunk didn't line up with the tail light and couldn't think of spending over $800,000 pesos for a car that would bug me each time I looked at it, so I passed. It's used for fiber optic splicing in the field.
Cool video, loved the stinger and the Jeep. 👍❤️👀
That van is a splicer van used for splicing fiber optic and pair cabling...
You should let copart know the stinger has someone luggage in it, I would want the luggage and baby items back to the right owner. Do the right thing Randy
They probably locked up or dead
It’s the fbi undercover torture room lol
Now we know when someone disappears, check the spooky at&t truck. Listen for screams. Lol!
I'm thinking the 450 is a fiber optic service truck for the cel tower's the company services.
My brother has one.
The Kia is 6 months old and has 26,000 miles on it. How does that happen? The wheels threw me on the Stinger. In Mexico if the Stinger has those wheels, it is a 6 cylinder twin turbo, so I am surprised it has a 4 cylinder.

Good luck winning the Kia stinger .
The Jeep is a go for $350.
Randy, the Auto Check report on that Ford box van says it had a smog test in 2010 at 124,000 miles, so somebody has messed with that thing. It might have been a mistake but who knows.
When I had a Chrysler, the key would lock because on the shifter it wasn’t fully in park. Almost have to slam it a little bit
Randy you should look at that red f150
I also think that jeep liberty doesnt have the chipped key like its supposed to
These are call service trucks. The big company have them as service vehicles.
Just me, but if I won that Stinger I would make every effort I could to find who the owner was and return that luggage.
That little four-banger turbo stinger will set you back in the seat don't be dyslexic it does move LOL
I don't speak English but I love your videos
The ATT truck is a fiber optic splicers truck .
I'd rather it be Auto Auction classic rebuilds you hit it every time with the classics LOL Keep On Keepin On brother
Came in when I could. Thanks for the content
Its used for getting high powered tools and equipment to fiberoptic cables underground
On the subject of the Kia Stinger, it may have been used as a "demonstrator vehicle" by one of the salespeople. I used to work at a few dealerships and some of them had salespeople drive certain models so that they could be sold later at a discount (a "demo").
Kia stinger is a great car
My old liberty did the same thing and it turned out being the key
The at n t truck is used to hold a genset
That AT&T truck is a optic fiber splicing vehicle, needs to be a clean area while splicing the cable.
Is it because you have to move the steering wheel to start the jeep? Is the wheels straight? Some vehicles you have to have the steering wheel straight or sometimes you can move the wheel and try to start it at the same time, It may work.
Is that an SRT-4 at the end?
It would make an awesome blank canvas for a camper!
Randy turn the steering wheel
That van is for field work in manholes for fiber optic cable ECT...
Best thing you ever did was let weird beard take care of that cornet excellent work he's doing don't sell that car I'll know after 6 months LOL
I like a lot all these walk around vids ;) I love cars
Hey Randy, the Jeep Liberty might not be so bad after all. I thought that car was done
There is most likely a master switch for the back somewhere in the truck
