The VR4 is close to Supra status. It’s a legend. It was probably the most sophisticated vehicle of its day. I think the content on this would be off the charts, and would probably pay double the cost of repairs.
I had one of these, an ("SL" not VR4 tho) for 12 years, daily driver. The best most fun car I ever owned. Great on gas tho no one ever believed me. The most common problem was a lifter tap, (design flaw)but I used synthetic oil and Lucas products, no problem. The worst problem was the power window regulator kept breaking. A small piece of plastic in the assembly kept wearing out. I still miss that car.

Those Mitsubishi 3000GT twin turbo VR4 are becoming collectors items. The interior is better than I thought it would be. It can be restored, but it's going to take a lot of time and money. More attention than you can give it.

My grandparents had a Cadillac Brougham like the one at the start of this video. It had red paint and red interior. I miss that car. It had the smoothest ride and most comfortable seats of ANY car that I have ever experienced in my life. The Cobalt could be a great flip. Although, I can't say that I like the color Yellow on cars. Reminds me of taxi cabs too much.
3000 has been sitting in wet leaking building & I believe it even had a targa top to boot . 80 .k & sitting for a timing belt doubt it , could be a flood car or wiring from rats . I think that odd ball rim looks good on the Cobat and looks like a good deal for the right price. That F-150 will sell fast if you can getting it running. Pickups always sell.
The 93’ was the best of the old Caddies. It had the 4.9L which was the best of that series. For 94’ they used the Northstar which was horrible. Just keep an eye on the subframe if it saw any salt. The mounts would rust off.
My husbands grandfather had a 1975 cadillac coupe Deville with 400 miles on it. (His grandad recently passed away). It has been garage kept. His parents are going to sell it. It is in amazing condition. Looks brand new. The interior smells new.
That VR4 is gone man...i love those cars i had 92 vr4 black...and Ill tell you this they aren't cheap! I'd stay away....but if anyone can bring it back its you!
Similar examples to that vr4 with like mileage are going for around 30k. Even restoring that gem you would get content revenue AND a solid chunk of your investment back if not break even.
Yep, I won the vr4 in the video and I'm gonna fix it up, even if it costs over 5k in parts I'll still make a nice chunk of cash. Buddy of mine sold a 91 VR4 right here in oklahoma city for $12,000 and the thing had over 160k on the clock
But the amount of money to get fixing it it will be way off, i imagine would be hard to find body parts and at least if would have body good but sadly way is too much body work on it to get it straight back that's the major thing, still it does have a really nice interior though, poor caddy..

I wish more people were honest like you My car got repoed so I used my taxes to buy a cash car and I didn’t even have it for a week. It shut off on the highway because of the fuel pump and then 2 days later the lower control arm snapped pulling into my driveway because it was rusted and hallow like tin. I’m pissed at the financial lost but I can’t even be too mad because my family dodged a bullet twice !!!

The aveo just watch out with the tires. My mom's aveo had a problem with the seal around the rims on her tires. Almost every other month we were in the shop with a leaking tire. And idk what it was but the steering was tight for me but it had power steering fluid
Your Brougham wreck almost duplicates mine from 1996. I was hit in my 1986 Brougham same color and top stopped at a light by an early seventies deuce and a quarter Buick. The Buick's front bumper was tweaked a bit, but that's what my Cadillac looked like, plus the front seat was bent backwards. My interior was grey and in much better shape (only 10 years old) and it had the anemic Olds 307. It was repaired, but never the same. I traded it for a 1994 Mazda 626

Buyyy that truckkkk🙏🏽 those f-150s are loyal, and the reason that it didn’t start was because it was in gear, sometimes when people change out the transmissions they mess up the linkage, so you would have had to put it in neutral to have it turn over, I have the same issue of my 1992 F-250

hey randy, i used to own a dodge stealth r/t which is very similar to this car. FYI the starters tend to go out on these very often!!! i got mine for a steal of $300 and all it needed in the end was a starter.

My 3000GT VR-4 was a derelict car when I got it for 300 with 45655km and I had to change a fuel pump and I went through it and did a timing belt and water pump. I just sold her for 15k last month and I'm starting to miss her

Ford Pick up - you didn't notice - shifter shows it's in REVERSE - so I'll assume neutral safety switch is not in proper spot = therefore NO Start!

The Fleetwoods we had were outfitted with a 307 Oldsmobile engine. We has a Delta 88 Broughm at the same time that also had the 307.
350 came out in 90, I put an 89 front clip on a 90 because of the 350 and hate the 90 composite headlights!

Those 3000gt turbo manual transmissions were a very expensive part years ago. my buddy had one and a used replacement trans was 8k
I would go for the 3000gt vr4 or the 90s cadillac brougham. I love these cars so much. I really do think that either or both of these would make some great content on the channel randy
I think you should go for the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and you would be surprised what you could get out of it even on salvage title
The 3000gt would be a amazing project and bring more content also to the channel
I woild replace my 78 Vette with a 3000GT/Stealth VR4. Always liked that car but this one is ROUGH. Rust on that was crazy.

My 3000GT VR-4 was a derelict car when I got it for 300 with 45655km and I had to change a fuel pump and I went through it and did a timing belt and water pump. I just sold her for 15k last month and I'm starting to miss her
