Today we focus the vlog on agility. It's just another way we like to Do Something Awesome with our dogs! Let us know if you love dog agility, or if there is another dog sport you love to do with your dog.
McCann Dogs -- I'm really enjoying your vlogs. My Pom and I play at agility (meaning no actual competitions) but we are both getting up in years. To help keep us both reasonably active I've started trying to teach him some treibball. It's slow going but he has gotten the hang of pushing the ball with his nose. I'd love to see a vlog demonstrating how to encourage the dog to push a ball TO me rather than just in any old direction. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Lin! That’s a sport that I’ve seen in some of the herding circles of dog sports competitors. Pushing a ball in a straight line would be a neat skill to teach. I’ll see what I can come up with in terms of teaching content. Thanks for watching the vlogs! ~Ken
Holy cow!!! That was awesome!! Oh my goodness!
+Snow Dogs Vlogs Thanks! Funkee is a really special girl for us. She's won many world championships with Kayl. And Rad is our little "up and comer". He used to be my herding dog, but now he's living the life of an agility dog with a bright future ahead of him :) ~Ken
ily guysssssssssssssssssssssss
I am really enjoying your posts. This video was great! Very informative and fun. It got me so excited I think I wanted to be in the class too! Agility training is something I only knew as being for police dogs or other kinds of essential emergency response dogs but your vlogs have really blown my eyes wide open to the whole thing. It is amazing to watch you guys work with people and help them train or prepare their fur babies/ best buds! I am loving it so much I have started some at home agility training with my rescue cat. I am really loving the space you have to work in. Keep up the great work your doing with these beautiful creatures and posting more vlogs. Thanks for sharing!
Do you have any good drills for beginners, I am in agility classes. I just wanted to have some good drills for practicing in my basement. I am only 10!
I loved this vlog. My lab has the same issue with wrapping the backside of the jump and not setting back to square up over the jump. Thanks so much for giving me a new skill to work on!
Glad you found it helpful Eve! Happy Training!

@@McCannDogs Thank you very much!
I really love your videos they are wonderful!😊
Can I ask what toys you are using and where are they from?
Excellent demo of working with Rad to square up on the wall jump after the wrap to the backside. That's a big problem with both of my dogs (PD and Toni). Guess what I'm going to work on during my next practice session? :)
Thanks Sue. I've found this drill to be really helpful. The dogs keep the bars up and use their body much better which means less strain on them :) Plus - the dogs get lots of cookies so they really like this one! Hope it goes well :) Maybe I can see the progress in NJ??? :P
Oh no ... the pressure!!!
